Religious cyberization is a new way of dissemination and development of traditional offline religions. In the process of cyberization, all aspects of religions are likely to be affected by the new Internet environment. Taking a Chinese online religious group as Internet field, this article analyzes the influence of cyberization on belief system, religious authority and religious experience of folk religion, and makes a preliminary exploration of its causes in combination with the characteristics of Internet and folk religion. This study mainly adopted the method of participant observation, and conducted online and offline interviews with participants when necessary. In addition, the researcher also analyzed documents, audio and other files uploaded in the online group. In the case discussed in this article, compared with officially recognized religions in China, folk religion seems to be more adapted to the opportunities and challenges brought by the new territory of the Internet due to its unique diffuseness and inclusiveness.

A number of studies on WTC have applied various conversational contexts to gain a deeper understanding of students’ WTC. However, there is no study reporting the dynamic nature of one’s WTC during an online oral group discussion. Accordingly, the present study attempted to contribute to the literature of WTC by examining the students’ WTC during an online group discussion. Applying idiodynamic case study, six English-majoring students were recruited. The findings showed that the dynamics of students’ WTC was constructed by psychological, conversational, and linguistic aspects. The use of the internet as the mediator of communication was also found to influence one’s WTC in either positive or negative directions. The analysis showed that the direction of influence of internet on one’s WTC was accounted for by their self-confidence.

The goal of this research is study of effective factors for preserving the brand customers in e-commerce. In this research we study the factors interfering in preserving and expanding the LG brand customers in the internet environment in order to identify such cases and use the same for raise of revenue earning. The purchasers of LG LCDS were considered among the customers of LG Brand. The statistical society in this research is all customers of LG LEDS in Iran and the sample volume based on society formula is unlimited 385 persons. The questionnaire used in this research includes 67 questions and two parts that in the first part the demography features are designed and in the second part the questions related to research variables are designed out of which 8 questions are related to customers confidence , 15 questions about brand validity, 22 questions about services quality , 12 questions about internet knowledge and 10 questions about customers preserving and expanding. 400 questionnaires were distributed among the LCD customers of LG brand and 366 questionnaire were received sound and safe and its validity and reliability were achieved.  The validity coef. for the entire questionnaire based on Cronbach’s Alfa is calculated 0.79% and for reliability of questionnaires and structure of questionnaire and discovery of factors causing any structure the confirmation operation analysis were used. For data analysis the descriptive statistical methods are used like drawing the diagrams and calculation of indices and also for performing the statistic tests the Pierson Correlation coef. and variance means are used and the LISREL software has been used. The due results in a significant and meaningful level 1% showed that there is meaningful  positive relationship between all variables of branch validity, quality services, internet knowledge and preserving the internet customers and there is no meaningful relations i.e. 5% in  variable of customer’s  confidence. As such the hypothesis 1, 3 and 4 are confirmed the second hypothesis is rejected.

Purpose/Thesis: The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept that Open Data and Open APIs provided by Communication Service Providers integrated in one end-user-oriented application may considerably improve the process of communication between people and institutions. Approach/Methods: Open Data is one of the key elements of the broad Internet ecosystem; other elements, such as open interfaces, open source, API, etc., are the assets that make the Internet environment robust, scalable, and extendable. The paper, based on the case study analysis, presents selected applications integrating the communication enablers in the form of Open APIs and Open Data sources. Results and conclusion: The combination of Open Data and functions provided by telecommu­nications operators in the form of Open APIs significantly improves and facilitates the processes of communication between people and institutions. Originality/Value: The author proposes to integrate Open Data with real time communication func­tions provided by Communication Service Providers in the form of Open APIs. Open Data and Open APIs are effective tools to create user-made environments that are convergent and coherent from the application source code point of view.

The paper mainly deals with the question on strategies of network communication applied by destructive cult groups and new tendencies in the mobile era. These cults usually take advantage of the Internet environment to set up and develop online positions, working jointly with offline activities. The author conducts a case study, which is based on the method of content analysis, towards Xin Tang Ren website operated by Falun Gong group to demonstrate its unique communication characteristics. The case study reveals the usual online publicity strategies of Falun Gong and new tendencies applied in the mobile era. In the Internet time, the more open and cross-border thinking should be expected to strenuously create a novel anti-cult path with Chinese characteristics.

This paper discusses the shift of religious authority in Al-Qur'an learning. usually, someone who wants to learn to read Al-Qur'an will come to a cleric, or kiyai teacher to teach him to read the Qur'an. however, with current technological advances, religious authorities originally held by ulama or someone who is an expert in the science of religion shifted to other media such as the internet, digital Al-Qur'an or other Al-Qur'an media. In addition, with the advancement of technology, the publishers of the Al-Qur'an have their own innovations to meet the needs of Muslims for children, adults, and even now the Qur'an is available for the diffable. Where there is a pictorial Al-Qur'an for children, the Al-Quran braille for people with disabilities, the Al-Qur'an red pen and the Al-Qur'an tajwid are colored for people who want to study Al-Quran themselves. In addition to the diverse prints of the Koran, there are also online Al-Quran learning sites and other Al-Quran applications both on smartphones and computers. The advancement in technology has made people who want to learn al-Quran easy.

Approaches to marketing actions in culture are exhibiting rising significance in the modern dynamically changing environment. This paper is focused on the identification of possible applications of marketing in the sphere of culture, with particular reference to the film industry, field of operations of the New Horizons Association. The author’s research was based on a literature study, participant observation, and an online questionnaire, enabling creation of a case study on the New Horizons Association. Empiri-cal research allowed for exploration of the perception of marketing actions of this organization, as well as identifying possible directions for its development. Changes in the needs of modern consumers are related to ongoing virtualization and globalization of culture, and allow for academic discussion about the future of innovative cultural institutions and audio-visual ventures, including within the context of the current global coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

78 Fordham Law Review 2799 (2010)The Internet is a semicommons. Private property in servers and network links coexists with a shared communications platform. This distinctive combination both explains the Internet's enormous success and illustrates some of its recurring problems.Building on Henry Smith's theory of the semicommons in the medieval open-field system, this essay explains how the dynamic interplay between private and common uses on the Internet enables it to facilitate worldwide sharing and collaboration without collapsing under the strain of misuse. It shows that key technical features of the Internet, such as its layering of protocols and the Web's division into distinct "sites," respond to the characteristic threats of strategic behavior in a semicommons. An extended case study of the Usenet distributed messaging system shows that not all semicommons on the Internet succeed; the continued success of the Internet depends on our ability to create strong online communities that can manage and defend the infrastructure on which they rely. Private and common both have essential roles to play in that task, a lesson recognized in David Post's and Jonathan Zittrain's recent books on the Internet.

Online collaboration has become a regular practice for many Internet users, reflecting the emergence of new participatory cultures in the virtual world. However, little is yet known about the processes and conditions for online collaboration in informally formed writing spaces and how these create opportunities for participants’ identity work. This ethnographic case study explores how four young adults, fans of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (bronies), negotiated a dialogic space for their online collaboration on a fan translation project and how this created opportunities for their identity work. After a year of participant observation, we collected interviews, ethnographic diaries and participants’ chats, which were analysed with qualitative content and discourse analysis methods. The findings showed how the Etherpad online writing platform used by the participants facilitated the construction of dialogic space through the visualization of a shared artefact and adjustable features. It was in this dialogic space where the participants negotiated their expert identities which furthered their discussions about writing, translating and technological innovations. The study advances present-day knowledge about online collaboration in affinity groups, engendering the construction of a dialogic space for collaborative writing and participants’ identity work.

Bolstering the political formation of agrarian organizations has become a priority for La Vía Campesina and the Food Sovereignty Movement. This paper addresses the Spanish case study of the Escuela de Acción Campesina (EAC)—(Peasant Action School), which is a tool for political formation in the Global North in which the philosophical and pedagogical principles of the “peasant pedagogies” of the Training Schools proposed by La Vía Campesina are put into practice within an agrarian organization in Spain and in alliance with the rest of the Spanish Food Sovereignty Movement. The study was carried out over the course of the 10 years of activist research, spanning the entire process for the construction and development of the EAC. Employing an ethnographic methodology, information was collected through participant observation, ethnographic interviews, a participatory workshop, and reviews of internal documents. The paper presents the context in which the EAC arose, its pedagogical dynamics, the structure and the ideological contents implemented for the training of new cadres, and how there are three key areas in the training process: (1) the strengthening of collective union and peasant identity, (2) training in the “peasant” ideological proposal, and (3) the integration of students as new cadres into the organizations’ structures. It is concluded that the EAC is a useful tool in the ideological re-peasantization process of these organizations.

The review of environmental impact statements (EIS), despite its relevance to impact assessment effectiveness, has received scarce scholarly attention. Few studies have gone beyond the realm of regulatory evaluations to understand the managerial meanders of the review process. This study evaluated the responsibilities, procedures, information inputs, and scope of EIS reviews within two environmental authorities: APA (Portuguese Environment Agency), in Portugal, and SEMAD (State Secretariat for Environment and Sustainable Development), in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Based on a qualitative multiple-case study methodology informed by participant observation, unstructured interviews, and content analysis of 12 EIS review reports, the study provided what is arguably one of the most detailed characterizations of EIS review to date. While following similar institutional arrangements and broad procedural steps, the EIS review has important differences in APA and SEMAD. Overall, the Portuguese agency was found to have a more structured, participative, interdisciplinary, detailed, and grounded review, thus meeting some of the good practices often cited in the literature. The EIS review reports prepared by APA reviewers were also found to provide a profoundly more complete and transparent account of the review process. The details of the review process revealed in the article can affect perceptions around the legitimacy and reliability of reviewers’ recommendations.
