Nowadays, it is considerable to develop a general concept and implement a system for storing and analyzing data related to socio-economic displacements of people. The population movement, related to long-term and short-term migrations, has an increasing nature, which directly affects the various fields of activity in a single country and the world community as a whole. The proposed article describes the subject area associated with socio-economic displacements of people, the key features of internal and external migrations are noted. Based on the subject area, the general architecture of the universal system of data storage and processing is proposed, which is based on the client-server architecture. A fragment of the data model, associated with the accumulation of data from external sources, is provided. General approaches of algorithms and data structures usage are proposed. The system architecture is described with the possibility of scaling both vertical and horizontal. The proposed system organizes the process of searching for data and filling the database from third-party sources. To do this, a module for collecting and converting information from third-party Internet sources and sending them to the database has developed. In the paper is noted the feature of the client application, which provides a convenient interface for analyzing data in the form of diagrams, graphs, maps, etc. The system is intended for various users interested in analyzing economic and social transfers, for example, to tourist organizations wishing to obtain statistics for a certain time, to airlines which could plan flights in one direction or another, as well as for state structures with the purpose of analyzing the migration flows of the population and developing appropriate strategy for their regulation.

The development of a general concept and implementation of a data-storage and analysis system for practice oriented data, one of the subsystems of which is an analytical system for the accumulation and analysis of data from users of social networks, is topical. Data that users leave about themselves in social networks can be useful in solving various tasks. The proposed article describes the subject area associated with the collection and storage of data from users of social networks. Proceeding from the subject area, the general architecture of the universal data collection and storage system is proposed, which is based on the client-server architecture. For the server side of the system, a fragment of the data model is provided, which is associated with the accumulation of data from external sources. The framework of the system architecture is described. The developed universal system is based on the information technology of data warehousing, and it has the following aspects: an expandable complex subject area, the integration of stored data that come from various sources, the invariance of stored data in time with mandatory labels, relatively high data stability, the search for necessary trade-off in data redundancy, modularity of individual system units, fl and extensibility of the architecture, high security requirements vulnerable data. The proposed system organizes the process of collecting data and filling the database from external sources. To do this, the system has a module for collecting and converting information from third-party Internet sources and sending them to the database. The system is intended for various users interested in analyzing data of users of social networks.

This article argues that futures studies practice must have relevance and meaning for society and organizations—that is, it should be affective—and that it should be evaluated as such. Evaluation should be process-based, specifically by observing the way futures studies as a profession is managed and interacts with society. Within this context, “evaluation” is defined as merit determination through process review, using as central norm the raison d’être for futures studies, namely, it must enhance better long-term decision making in organizations and in society. Affectiveness is an emergent quality. Emergence is a property that a whole (such as the subject area of futures studies) displays which is not apparent in its parts. In other words, it is a property that emerges from the interactions between the parts of the whole. With this in mind, futures studies can be visualized as an “application system” comprising of various specialized subsystems such as conceptual development, methodological development, scanning and trend research, scenario development, and idealized planning. The article defends and proposes a process-based approach to the evaluation of affectiveness: one that is based on a heuristic learning and dialogue design in the practice of futures studies. The quest for affectiveness is a journey toward an ideal, perhaps never to be reached but forever a guide toward improving the relevance and meaning of an important profession.

Summary ‘Articulatory setting’ is a modern term for the component of a speaker’s voice quality that derives from a habitual muscular adjustment (such as tending to keep the tongue low in the mouth). The general concept of settings, as long-term tendencies underlying the momentary segmental and suprasegmental articulations of speech, however, has been the subject of discussion in writings on phonetics since the middle of the 17th century. The article explores aspects of the historical development of the concept, particularly with regard to the aspect of voice quality that characterizes the pronunciation of different languages, usually referred to as ‘basis of articulation’. The writings of Wallis, Wilkins, Holder and Cooper in the 17th century, Bayly, Herries and Webster in the 18th, Sweet in the 19th, and Heffner, Honikman and Abercrombie in the 20th, are discussed.

Pipes for transportation of combustible media are subject to the most severe safety requirements. In order to guarantee best performance during construction and long term services the level of quality and the productivity are continuously increased. After many years of experience with the Filmless-Radiography (FLORAD) for internal process control (detection of typical weld seam defects like slag and pores), EUROPIPE has eventually invested in the digital X-ray inspection technology for the final release. Therewith the classic X-ray film has been replaced, the environmental impact due to chemicals reduced and the complete NDT process enhanced. By the availability of safe digital images via computer network it became in addition much easier for third party inspectors to monitor the release process. Furthermore the use of a professional data storage system guarantees a safe and traceable long term archival storage with a quick access to all data within minutes. The new installation consists of two separate X-ray chambers. In each chamber two digital detector arrays (DDA) and two X-ray tubes are installed to inspect the weld seam at the pipe ends and areas having indications from the automated ultrasonic testing. EUROPIPE is the first company which has implemented this technology in a highly automated serial production of large diameter pipes.

Monitoring of industrial cyber-physical systems (CPS) is an ongoing process necessary to ensure their security. The effectiveness of information security monitoring depends on the quality and speed of collection, processing, and analyzing of heterogeneous CPS data. Today, there are many methods of analysis for solving security problems of distributed industrial CPS. These methods have different requirements for the input data characteristics, but there are common features in them due to the subject area. The work is devoted to preliminary data processing for the security monitoring of industrial CPS in modern conditions. The general architecture defines the use of aggregation and normalization methods for data preprocessing. The work includes the issue from the requirements for the preprocessing system, the specifics of the subject area, to the general architecture and specific methods of multidimensional data aggregation.

When developing a game in Unity using 3D models, it became necessary to create your own 3D models, so Unity's own capabilities were analyzed for creating 3D models. Since Unity's capabilities as a 3D modeling environment are limited, third-party software products designed to model 3D objects were considered. As a result of the analysis, the 3D blender editor was chosen for the development of objects, and therefore there was a need to study the features of importing finished objects from Blender to Unity. Unity's decision to use 3D models created in Blender is based on Unity's limited 3D modeling capabilities. Because of this, a guide was formulated, which describes what you need to pay attention to in order to prepare objects from Blender to Unity. This article provides a brief description of the professional tool for developing 3D models and game engine, which is supposed to export the resulting 3D models, including a brief historical background about them, their main features, features, thanks to which they win among other software products designed for 3D modeling and game creation, as well as information about what areas and how widely these products are used. The main errors that occur when importing ready-made objects are considered, as well as the features of preparing ready-made models from Blender to Unity are described. In addition, the reasons why it is necessary to use several software products to create a full-fledged product are considered. The description of the export process in the considered tool is presented. The step-by-step process of preparing an object for export to Blender is analyzed in detail. The order and features of preparation for exporting objects from Blender to Unity are considered on the example of preparation and export of a model of a toy bear modeled in Blender. For this purpose, a detailed analysis of the subject area was carried out, the results of which are presented in this article in the form of a step-by-step description of the process of preparing the object for export.

The paper presents the axiomatic-deductive strategy of organizing the content of an academic discipline with the help of ontological approach in the e-learning systems in the field of information technologies. The authors have taken into account that the necessary property of the system of axiomatic statements is their consistency. On the basis of axiomatic-deductive strategy, new approaches to the formation of the discipline content are proposed. It is proved that the system of true statements of an academic discipline is based on its terminology-conceptual apparatus, in particular, axiomatic statements. The developed mathematical structures that describe the axiomatic-deductive substrategy of the organization of the academic discipline general statements and the taxonomically oriented substrategy of the deployment of the academic discipline content are presented in the article. This ensures the transition from the content form of representation of the set of statements of the academic discipline to its presentation by means of artificial languages of mathematical logic. The use of descriptive logic ensures the formalization of the procedure for displaying an axiomatic informal system in an axiomatic formal system. The mathematical structures describe and detail the abstract logical-semantic core of the academic discipline in the form of a group of axiomatic systems. It is noted that the basic core of the content of academic discipline contains its basic concepts and judgments. This ensures a strictly logical transition from abstract general concepts and statements to the concepts and assertions of the lower level of universality and abstraction. It is noted that in order to accommodate the content of an academic discipline is advisable to develop a taxonomically oriented sub-strategy based on the multiple application of operations of general concept division. The mathematical structures allow for analysis of a generalized structure of interactions between the verbal level of the description of the academic discipline subject area, the formal level of description of the subject area and the description of the subject area at the level of computer ontology, which is implemented through the formalization, interpretation, encoding and decoding in the computer-ontology development environment. As an example of the application of the proposed axiomatic-deductive strategy, the elements of the glossary and taxonomies of the concepts of the discipline "Computer Logic", which are embodied in the Protégé environment with the help of OWL ontology description language have been developed.
