In this study, Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles were synthesized by an easy and eco-friendly technique (green synthesis) using green tea leaves (Camillia sinensis), Nanoparticles were analyzed using structural and optical analysis, the X-ray pattern showed that Titanium Dioxide NPs had a tetragonal structure with (Face Centered Tetragonal) FCT crystal structure, the UV-visible recorded an absorbance peak near 350 nm and calculated energy band gap was 3.5 eV, all measurements were proved the purity and Nano size of prepared Nanoparticles. Biochemical parameters evaluation also mentioned in this research, these analyzes showed that Titanium Dioxide nanoparticles in particular dose (50 mg/kg) have the ability to reduce blood glucose levels, improve liver functions and recover lipid levels in the animals body, and lastly, histological pancreatic parts were submitted to observe changes that occurred after dexamethasone and nanoparticles were injected.

Objective : The present study investigated the effects of different dosages of a GHS-R antagonist [D-Lys3] on some serum hormonal (cortisol, T3 and T4) and biochemical parameters in a rat.Materials and methods : Thirty-six 60-day-old male rats were assigned to four treatments. [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 solutions were infused via intraperitoneal injections. Blood was collected and analyzed. Results : The large dosages of a GHS-R antagonist (200 ng/kg BW) caused increases in cortisol, whereas no significant changes occurred when low dosages were injected. There were no significant changes in T3 and T4 following the administration of the GHS-R antagonist, but a considerable increase was observed in blood glucose levels of the groups (G50, G100, and G200 ng/kg BW). There was a significant increase in total protein when the greatest dose was administrated (G200 ng/kg BW). However, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and albumin showed no significant changes. Conclusions : Exogenous GHS-R antagonist can cause an increase in glucose and moderate increases in cortisol and total protein, yet it has no significant effect on T3 and T4 levels or on the concentrations of serum lipids. The effect of GHS-R antagonist is not completely adverse to the effects of ghrelin. Further molecular studies are necessary to identify the physiological effects of the peptidic GHS-R antagonist. Tithonia diversifolia is a plant that has the potential to reduce blood glucose levels that is crucial in Diabetes Mellitus therapy. This study aims to determine the active compounds contained in the extract of T. diversifolia leaves decoction, the effect of decoction extract on the reduction of blood glucose, and the most effective decoction extract to reduce blood glucose levels as well. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the research treatment groups, namely: Kn = normal control (normal mice and not given leaves decoction extract), Ka = STZ control (DM mice, which are normal mice induced by 65mg/Kg of STZ), Kp = treatment control (normal mice given leaf decoction extract) , P1 = DM + mice were given young leaf decoction extract, P2 = DM + mice were given a mixture of young leaf and adult leaf decoction extract, P3 = DM + mice were given adult leaf decoction extract. The leaves used for decoction were 1-6 leaves from the shoots. The analysis of T. diversifolia leaves decoction compounds is using the visible spectrophotometers for tannins, phenols and flavonoids and GC-MS for terpenoid analysis. The result found that Tithonia diversifolia leaves decoction extracts contain tannins, flavonoids and phenols, while terpenoids are not detected. The leaves decoction extracts of T. diversifolia influenced the decreases in blood glucose levels of DM mice, especially the decoction extract of adult leaves which reduced blood glucose levels to 71.16%.

Functional food is food that is naturally or through a process that is beneficial to health. One functional food is a green bean juice packaging beverage that can reduce blood glucose levels. High fiber content, low glycemic index and flavonoids, and polyphenols in green beans (Phaseolus radiatus L) can reduce glucose levels in the blood. This study used experimental animals 7 tails. All experimental animals were given packaged mung bean juice 2 times a day for 9 days by means of a round. The mean results of an examination of blood glucose levels in white rat experimental animals before giving packaged green bean juice drinks was 85 mg dl, while the average results of an examination of blood glucose levels in experimental rats after administration of packaged green bean juice were 75 mg/dl. The results of the Paired T-test statistical test obtained p = 0,000 <α = 0.05. Packaged green bean juice can reduce blood glucose levels in animals testing white rats.

The present paper aims to evaluate antihyperglycemic activity of methanol extract of Citrus limetta fruit peel (MECL) in streptozotocin-induced (STZ; 65 mg/kg b.w.) diabetic rats. Three days after STZ induction, diabetic rats received MECL orally at 200 and 400 mg kg-1 body weight daily for 15 days. Glibenclamide (0.5 mg kg-1 p. o.) was used as reference drug. Blood glucose levels were measured on 0th, 4th, 8th, and 15th days of study. Serum biochemical parameters namely, SGOT, SGPT and ALP were estimated. The TBARS and GSH levels of pancreas, kidney, and liver were determined. MECL significantly (P<0.001) and dose dependently normalized blood glucose levels and serum biochemical parameters, decreased lipid peroxidation, and recovered GSH as compared to those of STZ control. The present paper infers that in STZ-induced diabetic Wistar rats, C. limetta fruit peel demonstrated a potential antihyperglycemic effect which may be attributed to its antioxidant property.

Background: Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by insulin resistance. Noni juice has the potential as herbal medicine which believed to reduce blood glucose levels. This study aims to determine the effect of noni juice on blood sugar levels on diabetic patients. Methods: This study used 16 respondents. They divided two groups, a control group and a treatment group. Each group consists of 8 respondents. The intervention group received 150 ml of noni juice which was given once a day for ten days. Glucose testing was carried out by the glucose-check method. The blood was taken from the respondent's fingertips capillary. The blood glucose levels between the control group and the intervention group were analyzed using independent t-test. Results: The average blood glucose level in the intervention group was 199.88 mg/dl, while the control group was 326.25 mg/dl. The test results of the mean blood glucose levels between the control group and the intervention group had a significant difference with a value of p = 0.003 (p ≤ 0.05). This indicates a significant effect between blood glucose levels in the control group and the intervention group. Conclusion: Noni can reduce blood glucose levels because it contains flavonoid. It has a hypoglycemic effect. Health workers can suggest consuming noni juice to decrease blood glucose in diabetic patients.
