Abstract Background: There has been rapid development of migraine research in the past 20 years in China and around the world. We analyzed the development trend of migraine research, and made a bibliometric analysis on the growth trend of the total number of publications, countries, institutions, authors, cited references and keywords from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019 by applying visualization software, and constructed the relevant knowledge map, and found the trends and hot spots in the field through comparison. Methods: Retrieved the literature on migraine in the Web of Science database from 2000-2009 and 2010-2019 respectively, and then utilized CiteSpace to conduct bibliometric analysis to acquire the knowledge mapping. Results: The total number of publications each year has increased year by year, and the average annual growth rate from 2000 to 2009 was 7.999%, while from 2010 to 2019 was 5.348%, with a faster growth rate from 2000 to 2009. According to the cluster analysis of institutions, authors, cited references, and keywords, 10/11, 12/11, 12/11, and 8/9 categories were obtained from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019 respectively. The most productive countries, institutions, and authors are the USA, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Lipton RB from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019, whose frequency is 4274/7107, 322/592, and 279/472 respectively. However, the most important of them are Belgium/ Pakistan, Houston Headache Clin/ Amgen Inc, and Lipton RB/ Klatt J, owing to their highest centrality, they are 1.20/1.08, 1.13/1.32, and 1.22/0.89 separately. Moreover, Cited references that contributed to the most co-citations are Silberstein SD (2004)/ Bes A (2013) from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019, however, the most vital cited reference is Welch KMA (2001)/ Goadsby PJ (2017). Keywords such as migraine, headache, prevalence, and the double blind are the most frequently used. But prevalence is the crucial keyword. In the cluster analysis of institutions, authors, cited references, and keywords from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019, the more convincing research categories are potential anti-migraine agent/ chronic migration prevention, reducing headache recurrence/ following symptomatic treatment, to-left shunt/ placebo controlled phase, spectrum study/ family study hemiplegic migraine, with S values of 0.952/0.956, 0.985/0/986, 0.981/0.970 and 0.985/0.982 respectively. Furthermore, the hotspots in this field are “stimulation”, “triptan” from 2000 to 2009 and 2010 to 2019. Conclusion: Based on the bibliometric analysis in the past 20 years, the knowledge mapping of the country, institution, author, cited reference, and the keyword is gained, which has an important guiding significance for quickly and accurately positioning the trend in this field.

Electronic cigarettes are at the center of a public health policy debate which leverages scientific publications. This study characterizes e-cigarette publication trends over the past 15 years via a bibliometric analysis. Scopus was searched for “electronic cigarette”, “e-cig”, “e-cigarette”, “vape”, “vaping”, “juul”, or “electronic nicotine delivery system” between 2003–2018. Data included Hirsch index, document type and frequency, and publications by institution, journal, and country. VOSviewer was used to visualize authorship network maps. A total of 4490 e-cigarette publications were identified, most (62.8%) being articles. After 2009, the annual growth rate for e-cigarette publications was the largest in 2014. The annual growth rate was nearly flat in 2017 but increased in 2018. The U.S. produced 51.6% of publications. Annual National Institutes of Health NIH funding for tobacco research mapped closely with the annual volume of e-cigarette publications. Author network analyses illustrated investigator collaborative patterns. The frequency of e-cigarette publications increased significantly in the past decade. A strong relationship of NIH funding for tobacco research and e-cigarette publications demonstrates the importance of e-cigarettes in tobacco research.

Abstract Background. The past decade has witnessed the development of ultrasound in orthopaedics, the growth rate of publications has been accelerating. In this study, analysis of the publications on ultrasound in orthopaedics over the past decade has been completed. We aim to provide inspiration for future research on ultrasound in orthopaedics through our work.Methods. All relevant publications between 2009 and 2020 from Web of Science were collected. Statistical Package for Social Science and GraphPad Prism 8 software were used to generate and analyse diagrams. Meanwhile, from the aspects of co-occurring keywords, VOSviewer software and CiteSpace were employed to visualize the research trends.Results. 1,677 publications with a citation frequency of 20,311 were identified. The United States published most publications in this filed and the number of citations was also the highest, as well as the highest H-index. Although China ranked sixth in terms of the number of publications, the growth trend in the future will be fastest. Furthermore, Skeletal Radiology published the most papers related to ultrasound in orthopaedics, Ozcakar, L had published the most papers, and a study by Kwon, YM received the highest citation frequency. The keywords about "MRI", "complication", "female" and "male" were noted as new topics.Conclusions. Through the research, while the contributions of the publications from the United States were significant, the growth rate of Chinese publications in the future cannot be ignored. Moreover, it is hypothesized that diagnosis and epidemiology studies may become hotspots.

BACKGROUND Smartphones have become an integral part of our lives with their unprecedented popularity and diversification of applications. The continuous upgrading of information technology has also enabled smartphones to display great potential in the field of healthcare. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to clarify the future research direction of mHealth by analyzing its research trends and latest research hotspots. METHODS This study collected mHealth-related literature published between 2000 and 2020 from the Web of Science database. Descriptive statistics of the literature were computed using Excel software. The publication trends of mHealth research were determined by analyzing the annual number of publications in the literature and annual number of publications categorized based on different countries. Finally, this study used the VOSviewer tool to construct visualization network maps of country/region collaborations and author keyword co-occurrences, and overlay visualization maps of the average publication year of author keywords to analyze the hotspots and research trends in mHealth research. RESULTS In this study, 12,593 mHealth-related research articles published between 2000 and 2020 were collected. The results showed an exponential growth trend in the number of annual publications in mHealth literature. The United States remained the leading contributor to the literature in this area (5,294/12,593, 42%), well ahead of other countries/regions. Other countries/regions also showed a clear trend of annual increases in the number of publications in mHealth literature. Regarding cooperation between countries, the four countries with the largest number of publications, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, were found to cooperate more closely. The rest of the countries/regions showed a clear geographical pattern of cooperation. The keyword co-occurrence analysis of the top 100 authors formed five clusters, namely: development of mHealth medical technology and its application in various diseases, use of mHealth technology to improve basic public health and health policy, mHealth self-health testing and management in daily life, adolescent use of mHealth, and mHealth in mental health. The research trends revealed a gradual shift in mHealth research from health policy and improving public healthcare to the development and social application of mHealth technologies. CONCLUSIONS To the best of our knowledge, the most current bibliometric analysis dates back to 2016. However, the number of mHealth researches published between 2017 and 2020 exceeds the previous total. Therefore, the results of this study shed light on the latest research hotspots and research trends in mHealth research. These findings provide a useful overview of the development of the field; they may also serve as a valuable reference and provide guidance for other researchers in the field.

Background: The objective of the present review is to perform the 1st bibliometric analysis of sleep disorders research. Methods: The data was retrieved from Scopus in July, 2020 for detail analysis. Results: The 1st precise document about the sleep disorder was published in 1945. Till 15th July 2020, total 69657 documents were found in Scopus database. Approximately eighty two percent (57013/81.87%) documents are published in the last twenty years (from 2001-2020). We calculated the per year growth rate (GR) of publications (from 2000-onwards). The highest number of documents are published in 2019 (4337/7.90% of 57013) followed by 2018 (4249/7.74% of 57013) and 2017 (3974/7.24% of 57013). Infact the productivity index (PI) for 1950-1960 and 2011-2020 era was found to be 100.21. We also provided the details of the top 50 countries with maximum number of publications (from 1945 to July 2020). The top three (3) countries are USA with 24262 publications (34.83%), followed by UK (5566/8.0%) and Germany (4791/6.87%). We also performed the co-words analysis. Infact total 956643 (0.95 million) keywords were retrieved from 69657 published documents. After critical analysis we categorized them in different groups to show the trend in various domains. In the next phase of the study, only those documents were analyzed which contained the phrase “sleep disorder” in the titles of the publications. Total 3626 documents were found. We calculated the per year growth rate (GR). The continental distribution, the list of top twenty authors, sources/journals, departments or institutes, countries and research documents with highest citations are provided. By VOSviewer analysis, 6752, 36511 and 11473 terms in titles of the manuscripts, abstracts and keywords were recorded, respectively. This may help in describing the overall trend in these publications. Conclusions: The present study provides a detail list of top authors, departments, countries, sources and top 20 most cited documents. The co-words analysis may help in describing the trends in the field of sleep disorders.

The study has been taken up with the objective of investigating the trends, pattern of growth and the extent of instability in area, production and productivity of rice crop in Andhra Pradesh state over a period of five and half decades from 1959-60 to 2013-14. Compound Growth Rate and Coefficient of Variation were used to calculate the annual growth rate and instability. The area, production and productivity of rice in this period has increased by 25, 201 and 138 per cent respectively. In this period, the districts were categorised and grouped under different groups based on average productivity of rice. During the study period many of the districts moved from very low productivity to high productivity group. During 1960s, 17 districts are under very low productivity group (<1500 kg/ha) and in 2010s 13 districts are under high productivity group (>3000 kg/ha). During the period 2014-19 in the divided Andhra Pradesh contribution of different productivity groups to the states paddy production was calculated and concluded that 3 districts under high productivity group (>6000kg/ha) contributed 52 per cent of the production. During 2010s annual growth rates for area, production and productivity are 4.08, 4.02 and 1.21 respectively. In all the periods in the past five and half decades, production and productivity growth rates are higher than growth rate in area except in 2010s. Instability was higher in production and area than in productivity.  The annual growth rate and the instability of production and area are higher in 2010s. Suitable crop planning is to be initiated, adoption of sustainable management practices are to be intensified to maintain the growth rate and reduce the instability in area and production.

Project management, as a subsidiary of social science, is a vast and varied topic of the area of knowledge. In the past decades, many studies have compiled an immense amount of information for theoreticians and practitioners in this field. In this paper, traditional and novel methods of bibliometric analysis are introduced through a survey for analyzing the history of research in project management. This study focuses on the last four decades of publications on project management, from 1980 to 2019. In the survey, the number of publications, the countries of publication, the cooperating relations among those countries, and the top categories of publications are analyzed. The extraction of publication keywords and the investigation of knowledge seeds are also presented. In the survey, the examination of the network of top occurring keywords, keyword clustering, together with the keyword correlation matrix, were used to explore the main trends in project management. A novel indicator, called the ICCO ranking, is presented by using the degree, betweenness and cluster coefficient of the network of keywords. Using this indicator, the potential knowledge seeds in project management may be identified.

Aim: To provide a historical and global picture of research concerning lung nodules, compare the contributions of major countries and explore research trends over the past 10 years. Methods: A bibliometric analysis of publications from Scopus (1970–2020) and Web of Science (2011–2020). Results: Publications about pulmonary nodules showed an enormous growth trend from 1970 to 2020. There is a high level of collaboration among the 20 most productive countries and regions, with the USA located at the center of the collaboration network. The keywords ‘deep learning’, ‘artificial intelligence’ and ‘machine learning’ are current hotspots. Conclusions: Abundant research has focused on pulmonary nodules. Deep learning is emerging as a promising tool for lung cancer diagnosis and management.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present a viewpoint on aligning strategy and execution to produce superior business results. Design/methodology/approach The paper examines the long-term financials of the top ten growers to reveal companies that have continued to grow in good economic times and bad, including the Great Recession. While some companies dug deeper into their core businesses during the financial crisis, others continued to innovate. Findings Where companies continued to focus on strategy execution, they were rewarded, for example, Amazon’s compound annual growth rate for the ten-year period that included the financial crisis was 36.45 per cent; in the past three years, Amazon’s compound annual growth rate (CAGR) has been 56.76 per cent. Most of the top ten long-term growers are headed by the same founder/entrepreneur. Research limitations/implications Look beyond the past three years for models of successful strategy execution. Practical implications For long-term company leaders, entrepreneurs, or turnaround experts, strategic execution is no oxymoron, but a requirement for growth and, ultimately, their unique responsibility. Social implications The paper identifies three major focus areas for strategy teams and company leadership: 1. customer centricity and strategy execution; 2. learning from survivors; and 3. rethinking capabilities and talent. Originality/value As a professor of strategic management and as a consultant to organizations on strategy and marketing transformation, we have focused on the activities that are necessary for leaders to create effective strategy and to execute successfully. We have also been responsible for equipping the larger teams of strategy professionals (and future strategy professionals) who support these leaders with the approaches, the methods, and the tools necessary to plan effectively, to assess effectiveness, and to correct problems in strategy and execution. We bring that perspective to this viewpoint paper.

The main aims of the present review are to provide a bibliometric analysis of the research published on the nutrition of the exercising horse from 1970 to 2010 and to determine whether this research has had any practical impact on feeding practices. In addition, we evaluated whether some of the key nutritional questions posed at the beginning of the 1980s have in fact been answered. Less than 300 publications were published in the period 1970-1980, but a large increase in the number of publications was observed between the period 1981-1990 and the period 1991-2000. Most papers were published in the Equine Veterinary Journal and American researchers, universities or institutes were particularly productive. The majority of the publications were in the areas of fluid balance, fat and glucose metabolism. Using information from field studies, there appears to have been a trend for a reduction in the amount of starch rich concentrates fed to performance horses from 1979 to 2007 and an increase in the use of oil supplementation. Whilst there have been several significant advances in our scientific knowledge of nutritional practices over the past few decades that have become routine practice in the field, others have not cascaded down. Unfortunately, we have not really fully answered any of the questions posed in the early 1980s and whilst it is possible that such questions can never be fully answered, there is also a concern that lack of sufficient funding, especially for the fundamental pieces of information needed to underpin our nutrition advice, will hamper progress in the future.

Traffic accident increased periodically in alarming rate and it was a serious problem throughout the globe particularly in developing countries like Ethiopia. This research concerns on Analyzing Road Traffic Accident in Ethiopia from 2007/08-2017/18. The main objective of the study was to investigate the growth rate of road traffic accident, road network coverage and motorized vehicle, and relationship between them in the past elven (11) year. In order to address the required objective the study use secondary data collected from Ethiopia federal police commission, Ethiopia road authority and Ethiopia federal transport authority. Basically, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis approach was used to analyze the data. The finding of the study revealed that; in the past eleven year more than 291577 Road traffic accident, 912956km road network and 681000 motorized vehicles were developed. Due to Road traffic accident Ethiopia loses around 36.3 billion birr (estimated 1.3 billion $ in current exchange rate of 28 birr for 1$) in the past eleven (11) year in Ethiopia. In average annually Ethiopia loses around 0.9% of budget due to traffic accident in the past eleven year. Average annual growth rate of road traffic accident, road network development and motorized vehicle were 9.16%, 10.81% and 13.34% respectively. In Ethiopia in the past eleven (11) years more than 276491 road traffic accidents, 912956km road network and 681000 number of motorized vehicle were newly introduced since 2007/08 in the study period. The variation on road traffic accident, road network coverage in km and motorized vehicle between commencement of study period (2007/08) or Ethiopia millennium (2000E.C) with end of the study period (2017/18) were estimated around 25914, 82414 and 563003 respectively. Finally, the study intend that road traffic accident had no direct or indirect relation with growth of motorized vehicle and road network coverage in Ethiopia. To curb the problem faced due to road traffic accident the government and other stakeholder must careful the issues to minimize road traffic accidents in Ethiopia.
