A study of mathematics integration with technology and Islamic values becomes an interesting topic to be studied by many scholars. The mathematics integration is essential to be applied in learning so that it can make students become Muslim individuals who have excellent character and proficiency in utilizing technology. However, there are still few studies that investigate mathematics integration with technology and Islamic values. Therefore, this study aims to describe phenomena directly related to mathematics learning that contain Islamic values and the use of technology in the learning process. The type of this study was descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were three mathematics teachers who teach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). The study procedure was carried out to find the phenomenon of research subjects that occurred at MTs. The validity of the data used the triangulation of the source and method. Data were collected through literature review, interview, and observation. The study results showed that three MTs had applied Islamic values and technology content in mathematics learning. This study recommends the need for innovation in MTs to design mathematics-integrated learning with Islamic values and the use of technology to help teachers create efficient learning, attract students' learning interest, and create an active learning environment for students.

Online learning as an alternative that can be applied during the Covid-19 period. For the sake of smooth online learning, teachers need to make innovations so that the concepts of abstract mathematics learning are easily understood by students. One alternative is the use of technology as a learning medium to help solve mathematical problems using Algebrator software. This study aims to describe the ability of students to use Algebrator Software on number material as an alternative to online learning based on their mastery in using Algebrator. This research qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The research subjects were 5 class VII students who were randomly selected. The results of this study indicate that the ability of students to use Algebrator Software on number material as an alternative to online learning has been sufficiently mastered based on the results of the tests given and supported by the results of interviews. It is hoped that in the future students can improve their ability to master technology in mathematics learning.

The use of modules in learning aims so that students can learn independently without or with the guidance of the lecturer. There is no teaching material as a learning guide that meets the needs of students in IT-based mathematics learning courses in the form of LKM, Modules or textbooks.This study aims at finding and examining further the response of students to ICT-based mathematics learning modules. The form of this research is descriptive research. The research subjects of the even semester students are 2018/2019 in ICT-based mathematics learning courses. The instrument used was a student response questionnaire. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale through Google Form. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that student’s responses to the ICT-based mathematics learning module as a whole were positive with an average on the material Aspects, the Interest Aspects of the module and the Module Aspects respectively of 92, 42%, 87 % and 93, 16%.. Thus it can be concluded that ICT-based mathematics learning using modules can be applied.

Interest in learning is one important factor that determines student success in learning. Low student interest in learning is associated with their ability to master the concept of summing whole numbers. This study aims to foster students' interest in learning mathematics through makkudendeng traditional game. The research method is design research starting from the preliminary design, design experiment, and retrospective analysis. The research subjects were students in grade II primary school. The results of this study conclude that the makkudendeng traditional game, which is used as a learning resource in learning the addition of whole numbers, has relevance to the indicators of learning interest, which include: pleasure in learning, interest in learning, attention, and involvement in learning. It is because students learn while playing. So, the makkudendeng traditional game can be a solution to foster students' interest in learning mathematics.

Literacy culture needs to be instilled early on, because it can foster students' interest in reading. Serut Muhammadiyah Elementary School is one of the schools implementing a literacy culture program. This study aims to explain the planning, implementation, evaluation of literacy culture programs at SD Muhammadiyah Serut, as well as describing the independence of students in literacy culture at SD Muhammadiyah Serut. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were school principals, class III teachers and class IV teachers, librarians, class III and IV students taken randomly. The objects in this study are all matters relating to the independence of students in literacy culture in SD Muhammadiyah Serut. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models, while to test the validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed: that literacy program planning is related to the vision, mission and goals of the library, while the literacy culture has been running smoothly. Literacy cultural activities include reading iqra, reading Juz 'Amma, reading activities 15 minutes before the lesson begins, short story activities and bulletin classes. The next stage is the evaluation at Serut Muhammadiyah Elementary School conducted once a semester, to find out the extent of the literacy culture program. In the independence of students in the culture of literacy at Serut Muhammadiyah Elementary School as students do not read when the teacher does not ask. Then students are not confident when reading the results of their work.

This study aims to analyze student mathematical literacy ability from the perspective of students' Mathematical Ability. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were three students of XI IPA 1 MAN 1 Padang with different mathematical abilities: low, medium, and high. Data were collected through documentation, tests, and interviews. The results of the analysis show that students with high abilities can solve routine problems, interpret problems and solve them with formulas, carry out procedures well, can deal with complex situations, use their reasoning in solving problems, can work effectively and interpret different representations and then relate them to the real world. Students with moderate abilities can solve routine problems, interpret problems and solve them with formulas, and carry out procedures properly. Meanwhile, students with low abilities are only able to solve routine questions. Based on these results, it is necessary to look for strategies in the mathematics learning process, which enable the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills.

This article aims to determine the extent of the mathematical connection ability of the linear equations system of two variables in terms of the connection representation and procedural connections. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. This study's subjects were the students of class X MIPA 1 MA P2K Al Hidayah Lajukidul, which numbered 24 students. However, only six subjects were taken based on the level of mathematical connection ability high, medium, and low that had been selected by mathematics subject teachers based on students' ability to solve math story problems. The research instrument consisted of tests and interview questions. Data analysis techniques using the model of Miles and Huberman include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The study results showed that in question no. 1, all research subjects can represent connections and procedural connections, students can write mathematical symbols and answer questions using formulas correctly. In problem no.2, only the subject of high mathematical connection ability can connect representation and procedural connections. The other subject is not quite right in writing mathematical symbols. In question no.3, only subjects with low mathematical connection ability do not have representation and procedural connection skills; students only write what is known but is incomplete. In conclusion, the two-variable linear equation system's mathematical connection ability in terms of the connection representation and procedural connections are not evenly distributed.   Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana kemampuan koneksi matematis materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel ditinjau dari koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 MA P2K Al Hidayah Lajukidul yang berjumlah 24 siswa tetapi hanya diambil 6 subjek berdasarkan tingkat kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah yang telah dipilih oleh guru mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada soal  no. 1 semua subjek penelitian mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural, siswa mampu menuliskan simbol matematika dan menjawab soal menggunakan rumus dengan benar. Pada soal no.2 hanya subjek kemampuan koneksi matematis tinggi yang mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural, subjek yang lain kurang tepat dalam menuliskan simbol matematika. Pada soal no.3 hanya subjek kemampuan koneksi matematis rendah yang belum mempunyai kemampuan koneksi representasi dan prosedural, siswa hanya menuliskan apa yang diketahui tetapi tidak lengkap. Kesimpulannya kemampuan koneksi matematis materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel ditinjau dari koneksi representasi dan koneksi prosedural belum merata.

This study aim to describe the student’s mathematics anxiety on the use of technology in mathematics learning. It is a quantitative descriptive research by involving second year students of Mathematics Education Program  in Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) who took Technology-based Mathematics Learning course. They were selected based on saturation sampling. Data were collected through questionnaire, in-depth interview and documentation. The results show the high level of each dimension of mathematics anxiety among students. The average score in each indicator of cognitive, affective, and physiological dimension were high. In addition, interview revealed that most of the students expressed their anxiety in the first lecture and when obtained the task of applying particular software in mathematics learning. It is mainly due to unpreparedness and lack of knowledge about the application of software. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the level of students’ mathematics anxiety is relatively high.  Keywords: Mathematics anxiety, Technology-based, Mathematics learning,

The purpose of this ethnomatematics research is to describe the process of calculating auspicious days for Javanese wedding in Purworejo. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach which used interviews to collect the data. The subject of this research was an individual who implemented the process of calculating auspicious days in Javanese society. The results show that the process of calculating auspicious days for Javanese wedding in Purworejo was an activity that could be possibly used as mathematics learning.

The purpose of this study was to describe ethnomathematics on Dayak Tabun traditional tools in school mathematics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive research methods. Observation techniques are direct observation and communication techniques, namely interviews with Dayak Tabun community leaders, especially makers, users, and traditional stakeholders. the results of the research obtained are: 1) form, learning context in geometric concepts, namely flat and wake up space; 2) aspects of the motive, the learning context in the geometry concepts, like are two-dimensional, lines, and angles, besides that the algebraic concept is a number pattern in the form of a constant sequence; 3) the way of making, the learning context in the algebraic concept of numbers, namely fractions in dividing the material into two parts, calculating operations especially on natural numbers, sequential numbers through measurement of materials; 4) in terms of the use of tools, the context of calculating operating learning is the tool used in the dance, namely the tapping of movements and elevation angles in trigonometric material, namely the use of a Sangkuh Akai tool. Therefore, ethnomathematics on traditional Dayak Tabun ethnic instruments can be used as the context of school mathematics learning.

Students' thinking style is influential in learning outcomes, but teachers have not yet focused on the teaching and learning process, resulting in students having difficulties in receiving the material, especially in the study of analyzing physical concepts through graphs on the concept of kinematics. Therefore, knowing the student's thinking style especially for the physics teacher is a very important effort to achieve teaching success. This study aims to determine the students' thinking style in analyzing physical concepts through graphs on kinematics concepts. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. Subjects in this study were students of class X Mipa1 and X Mipa2. Data collection instruments in this study were questionnaire, observation and documentation. The questionnaire used was in the form of a closed questionnaire adapted from the Quantum Learning book written by Bobbi DePorter and Mike Hernacki,  The results of this study indicated that the concrete sequential thinking style (S1) was 27 %, abstract sequential thinking style (S2) was 14%, random abstract (A1) was 34%, concrete random thinking style (A2) was 25%.
