The purpose of this study was to describe ethnomathematics on Dayak Tabun traditional tools in school mathematics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive research methods. Observation techniques are direct observation and communication techniques, namely interviews with Dayak Tabun community leaders, especially makers, users, and traditional stakeholders. the results of the research obtained are: 1) form, learning context in geometric concepts, namely flat and wake up space; 2) aspects of the motive, the learning context in the geometry concepts, like are two-dimensional, lines, and angles, besides that the algebraic concept is a number pattern in the form of a constant sequence; 3) the way of making, the learning context in the algebraic concept of numbers, namely fractions in dividing the material into two parts, calculating operations especially on natural numbers, sequential numbers through measurement of materials; 4) in terms of the use of tools, the context of calculating operating learning is the tool used in the dance, namely the tapping of movements and elevation angles in trigonometric material, namely the use of a Sangkuh Akai tool. Therefore, ethnomathematics on traditional Dayak Tabun ethnic instruments can be used as the context of school mathematics learning.

The purpose of this ethnomatematics research is to describe the process of calculating auspicious days for Javanese wedding in Purworejo. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach which used interviews to collect the data. The subject of this research was an individual who implemented the process of calculating auspicious days in Javanese society. The results show that the process of calculating auspicious days for Javanese wedding in Purworejo was an activity that could be possibly used as mathematics learning.

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konsep (ide-ide) matematika yang terdapat  pada rumah adat Mandailing  yaitu Bagas Godang. Mandailing adalah salah satu suku Batak yang terletak di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan Sumatera Utara. Salah satu unsur budaya Mandailing adalah rumah adat Bagas Godang Sumatera Utara yang seharusnya menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah setempat. Bagas Godang merupakan unsur budaya Mandailing yang dapat di jadikan media pembelajaran matematika sekolah, sehingga pembelajaran matematika dapat dimulai dari memperkenalkan budaya lokal seperti rumah adat budaya Mandailing atau Bagas Godang. Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep matematika pada struktur dan ornamen rumah adat Bagas Godang. Pembahasan yang bersifat deskriptif memberi gambaran tentang ornamen rumah adat Bagas Godang lebih terperinci. Hasil eksplorasi dan analisis ornamen-ornamen Bagas Godang ditemukan adanya konsep matematika berupa konsep grup, geometri dan trasformasi geometri dan komposisinya. Ethnomatematic Study of Bagas Godang as a Mandailing Culture Element in North SumateraAbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out the concepts (ideas) of mathematics in the traditional Mandailing house, Bagas Godang. Mandailing is one of the Batak tribes located in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. One element of Mandailing culture is the traditional house of Bagas Godang, North Sumatra, which should be the concern of the local government. Bagas Godang is an element of Mandailing culture that can be used as a medium for school mathematics learning, so that mathematics learning can be started from introducing local culture such as the traditional Mandailing or Bagas Godang cultural houses. This research explores mathematical concepts in the structure and ornaments of the traditional Bagas Godang house. Descriptive discussion gives an overview of the traditional Bagas Godang house ornaments in more detail. Exploration and analysis of Bagas Godang ornaments found mathematical concepts such as group concepts, geometric concepts, and geometric transformations and their compositions.

<p>Salah satu indikator keberhasilan Sekolah Matematika belajar adalah realisasi maksimal matematika kompetensi melakukan melibatkan pemecahan masalah, penalaran, komunikasi, koneksi, representasi, dan pemahaman konseptual, diwujudkan dalam kebiasaan berpikir dan melakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Sekolah Matematika digest belajar untuk melakukan matematika kompetensi siswa, dan perbaikannya. Para siswa yang dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian adalah mereka yang mengambil Sekolah Matematika Digest 1 saja, di semester genap dari 2013-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah Matematika Digest 1 tentu saja memiliki pengaruh yang kuat pada peningkatan kompetensi melakukan matematika siswa, baik komponen dengan komponen dan sepenuhnya, yaitu, kompetensi penalaran, komunikasi, koneksi, representasi, pemahaman konseptual, dan membuktikan. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa 86% siswa dari matematika pemecahan masalah kompetensi yang sangat baik, sisanya 14% berada pada tingkat cukup. Sementara itu, kualitas peningkatan kompetensi melakukan matematika siswa, baik komponen dengan komponen dan sepenuhnya, jatuh ke dalam kategori yang adil.</p><p>One of the indicators of the success of School Mathematics learning is the maximal realization of the <em>doing mathematics</em> competences involving problem solving, reasoning, communication, connection, representation, and conceptual comprehension, realized in the habits of thinking and doing. The research was a descriptive research by a survey approach intended to determine the influence of School Mathematics digest learning on students’ doing mathematics competence, and its improvement. The students selected as the subjects of research were those who took School Mathematics Digest 1 course, in the even semester of 2013-2014. The research findings showed that School Mathematics Digest 1 course has a strong influence on the improvement of the students’ doing mathematics competence, both component by component and wholly, i.e., reasoning competence, communication, connection, representation, conceptual comprehension, and proving. In addition, it was found that 86% students were of very good mathematic problem solving competence, the remaining 14% being at an insufficient level. Meanwhile, the quality of the improvement of students’ doing mathematics competence, both component by component and wholly, fell into a category of fair.</p>

Konflik Intrapersonal merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi emosional siswa dalam belajar matematika, dalam hal ini kondisi psikologis siswa yang mengalami konflik dengan dirinya sendiri terhadap mata pelajaran matematika yang sedang dihadapi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang konflik intrapersonal yang dialami siswa dalam proses belajar matematika di kelas XII SMK Persada Wajo. Total siswa sebanyak 25 siswa dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 siswa masing-masing 1 siswa mewakili satu jenis konflik intrapersonal. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kuesioner, Tes Hasil Belajar, danPedoman Wawancara. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif dan berlangsung secara terus menerus hingga tuntas (jenuh). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa S-01 mengalami jenis konflik Approach-avoidance conflict dalam proses pembelajaran karena ketika disuruh mengerjakan soal lalu menjelaskannya, siswa tersebut mampu menyelesaikan soal tersebut tapi tidak mampu menjelaskannya, dia merasa malu dan kondisi fisiknya terlihat keringatan dan tegang, nilai THB yang diperoleh 75. S-02 mengalami jenis konflik Avoidance-avoidance conflict dalam proses pembelajaran karena ketika disuruh memilih antara mengerjakan soal matematika atau bernyanyi saja siswa tersebut tidak mampu melakukan keduanya, siswa merasa takut dan kondisi fisiknya terlihat cemas, hasil THB yang diperoleh 40. S-03 mengalami jenis konflik Approach-approachconflict dalam proses pembelajaran karena siswa tersebut sulit memilih salah satu soal diantara dua soal yang sama mudahnya untuk dikerjakan, dia merasa ragu-ragu dan kondisi fisiknya terlihat bingung, hasil THB yang diperoleh 85. Abstrak. Intrapersonal conflict is one of the factors that affect students' emotional learning in mathematics, in this case the psychological of students who experience conflict within themselves on mathematics learning. The study was descriptive research with qualitative approach, which aimed at providing description on intrapersonal conflicts experienced by students in mathematics learning process in grade XII at SMK Persada. Total students were 25 students. Subject were 3 student that each of the student represented one type of intrapersonal conflict. The instruments used were Questionnaires, Learning Tests, and Interview Guidelines. Data were analysed in descriptive qualitatively and ongoing until saturated. The results of the study reveal that subject S-01 experienced Approach-avoidance conflict in learning process because when they were ordered to answer the question and explained it, the student was able to solve the problem but unable to explain it, students felt ashamed, experience sweating palm and tense physical condition, The THB score obtained is 75 or equal to KKM. (2) Subject S-02 experienced Avoidance-avoidance conflict in learning process because when they were ordered to choose between working on mathematics question or singing, the student were unable to do both, students felt afraid and looked worried, the THB result obtained 40 below the KKM. (3) Subject S-03 experienced Approach-approach conflict in learning process because student had difficulty in choosing one of two easy questions, students doubted and looked confused, the THB results obtained 85 or above the KKM.

A study of mathematics integration with technology and Islamic values becomes an interesting topic to be studied by many scholars. The mathematics integration is essential to be applied in learning so that it can make students become Muslim individuals who have excellent character and proficiency in utilizing technology. However, there are still few studies that investigate mathematics integration with technology and Islamic values. Therefore, this study aims to describe phenomena directly related to mathematics learning that contain Islamic values and the use of technology in the learning process. The type of this study was descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were three mathematics teachers who teach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). The study procedure was carried out to find the phenomenon of research subjects that occurred at MTs. The validity of the data used the triangulation of the source and method. Data were collected through literature review, interview, and observation. The study results showed that three MTs had applied Islamic values and technology content in mathematics learning. This study recommends the need for innovation in MTs to design mathematics-integrated learning with Islamic values and the use of technology to help teachers create efficient learning, attract students' learning interest, and create an active learning environment for students.

Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Balongbendo semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Data interaksi belajar siswa dalam kelompok diperoleh dengan lembar observasi, sikap konstruktif siswa diperoleh dari angket. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif yang terjadi dalam menyampaikan ide atau pendapat yaitu sebesar 53,8% untuk kelompok 1 dan 46,7% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan yang disertai dengan penjelasan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,0% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan tanpa disertai pejelasan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 13,3% untuk kelompok 2, dan interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam meminta bantuan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,0% untuk kelompok 2. Sikap konstriktis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD menunjukkan mayoritas siswa mempunyai sikap konstruktif terhadap matematika yang cukup bagus yaitu sebanyak 24 siswa dari 33 siswa Abstract The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. This research was done in class of VII-A SMPN 2 Balongbendo in second semester 2018/2019. There are thirty three students in that class. The data of students learning interaction were got from observation sheet and note and students’ constructive attitudes were got from questionnaire. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the interaction of students Mathematics learning in cooperative learning in case of delivering idea or opinion is 53,8% for first group and 46,7% for second group. In case of giving a help with some explanations is 15,4% for first group and 20,0% for second group. In case of giving a help without some explanations is 15,4% for first group and 13,3% for second group. In case of asking a help is 15,4% for first group and 20,0% for second group. Students’ constructive attitudes by using STAD type of cooperative learning show that most of students have quite good constructive attitudes about Mathematics that is twenty four of thirty three students.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Multiple Intelligences</em>. (2) Mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Multiple Intelligences</em>. (3) Mengetahui hasil belajar siswa baik secara individu maupun secara klasikal dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Multiple Intelligences</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan pengamatan. Dari hasil ketuntasan belajar secara individual didapatkan prosentase ketuntasan secara klasikal yaitu 77,2 %, sehingga model pembelajaran <em>Multiple Intelligences</em> merupakan teori belajar yang dipandang sebagai penggunaan berbagai teori, prinsip, metode, strategi dan taktik belajar dalam menciptakan situasi belajar yang menyenangkan guna memperoleh hasil belajar yang sesuai dengan yang diinginkan.</p><p> </p><p>This study aims to: (1) Determine student activities during the mathematics learning process by using Multiple Intelligences learning models. (2) Knowing students' perceptions of mathematics learning by using Multiple Intelligences learning models. (3) Determine student learning outcomes both individually and classically in mathematics learning by using Multiple Intelligences learning models. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and observations. From the results of individual learning completeness obtained the classical mastery percentage is 77.2%, so the Multiple Intelligences learning model is a learning theory that is seen as the use of various theories, principles, methods, strategies and learning tactics in creating enjoyable learning situations in order to obtain learning outcomes in accordance with what is desired.</p>

This research is motivated by the lack of interest of teachers in the use of props in the process of learning mathematics in elementary school. In accordance with the demands of the curriculum in 2013 and supported by the developed learning theory, learning mathematics is abstract object of study, students need an intermediary that props math-ematics, so that students can more easily understand the concepts that will be pre-sented, and in the end it can deliver students to solve mathematical problems, not only that proposed by the teacher but also the problems in life. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest of prospective elementary teachers on the use of props mathematics after getting lectures media and elementary mathematics learning model. By knowing the interest of prospective elementary teachers will be developed further realization of the state of the subject being studied. The method used is descriptive research, then the instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study stated that the interest of prospective elementary teachers on the use of props after attending lectures media and elementary mathematics learning model is high over-all with a percentage of 76.70%.Keywords : Interest, Props Mathematics

The use of modules in learning aims so that students can learn independently without or with the guidance of the lecturer. There is no teaching material as a learning guide that meets the needs of students in IT-based mathematics learning courses in the form of LKM, Modules or textbooks.This study aims at finding and examining further the response of students to ICT-based mathematics learning modules. The form of this research is descriptive research. The research subjects of the even semester students are 2018/2019 in ICT-based mathematics learning courses. The instrument used was a student response questionnaire. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale through Google Form. The data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2010. The results showed that student’s responses to the ICT-based mathematics learning module as a whole were positive with an average on the material Aspects, the Interest Aspects of the module and the Module Aspects respectively of 92, 42%, 87 % and 93, 16%.. Thus it can be concluded that ICT-based mathematics learning using modules can be applied.

Tujuan dari peneliti ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) karakteristik kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (3) hasil pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, pemilihan subjek dan informan dengan cara acak dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap enam orang anak asuh dan tiga orang tua asuh. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa anak sebelum memperoleh pengasuhan dari orang tua asuh di RPSAA memiliki karakteristik kecerdasan emosional rendah. Pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan di RPSAA kepada anak asuh adalah pola asuh demokratis. Sedangkan hasil pengasuhan dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung menyimpulkan bahwa anak asuh usia remaja telah memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang cukup baik, yaitu terlihat dari bagaimana cara mereka mampu mengendalikan segala perasaan yang pada dirinya, meskipun ada remaja yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi aspek kecerdasan emosional.   The goal of these researchers is to figure out (1) characteristics of the emotional intelligence of teenagers in RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in adolescents; (3) results foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in teens. This research used the qualitative approach with descriptive research method, the selection of subjects and informants by means of random and data gathering techniques through observation, interview and documentation against six people and three foster care parents foster care. The research results obtained by researchers concluded that child before obtaining care of foster parents in RPSAA has the characteristic of low emotional intelligence. Parenting patterns are applied in the RPSAA to foster care parenting is democratic. While parenting results in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung teenager in concluding that foster care teens have had a pretty good emotional intelligence, that is visible from how they are able to control all the feelings on him, even though there are teenagers who do not yet fully meet aspects of emotional intelligence.
