This research is conducted to examine consumer perception related with rationalization and understanding of risk consequences and their advantages by predicting desires related with digital product piracy. The motivation to conduct digital piracy is reinforced with understanding the advantages obtained and consumer behavior towards digital product piracy. Various rationalization techniques also support reinforcing their motivation to engage in piracy. Interestingly, that motivation can be hindered with perceptions about the consequences or social norm regulations and moral responsibilities. Analytical results reveal that consumer intention to use pirated digital products can continuously increase, because it is influenced by the understanding of the advantages obtained, the rational techniques used, their attitudes toward piracy, and perceptions in controlling behavior. On another side, moral responsibilities and social norms also play a role in reducing the intensity of using pirated digital products.

As one of the effective ways of building energy saving, behavior energy-saving has the positive promotion function regarding the heating energy saving for the heat users of central heating system. The effect of behavior energy-saving on the heating load characteristics of central heating systems was studied based on the present development of central heating metering technology. The study was promoted combined the theoretical analysis and questionnaire survey. At first, the influence factors of behavior energy-saving were analyzed. Then the questionnaire survey about the present situation of behavior energy-saving was carried out and the basic heating modes of heat users were summarized considering on heating mode, habits and customs and the family structure characteristics. The concept and mainly form of behavior energy-saving and behavior energy-saving rate of central heating system heat users were clear and definitude by study on the behavior energy-saving rate. Thus it has good coaching and promoting effect on the development of behavior energy-saving.

Abstract In the process of maintenance and repair for outdoor terminal box of electric power, safety accidents often occur due to human factors. For the correct evaluation of operation process of man-made factors on the failure and the effect of outdoor terminal box, in this paper, the common performance condition of the CREAM (Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis Method) model be used to analyze the human behavior mechanism and behavior reliability of the terminal box operation process. Moreover, the SLIM (Success Likelihood Index Method) model is used to calculate the probability of human error, and the proportional hazard model is used to calculate the outdoor terminal box's own failure rate. Taking a circuit breaker terminal box as an example, the simulation results show that the corresponding probability of human error is 1.56%, the equipment failure rate is 0.84%, the risk value of the system is 10.7%, and the risk level of the system is 3. From the probabilistic perspective, the effects of human error are higher. Hence, if management department controls the influence factors, the risk level of system can be decreased.

Advertising has grown exponentially over the last 10 years. In general, advertising can be defined as the activity of a profession of producing information for promoting the sale of commercial products or services in so many ways, including the World Wide Web. For instance, advertising via the web has received much attention from people all over the world. Web advertising, in particular, has big implications to the global businesses because of wide accessibility strategies throughtout the world. Therefore, this study is carried out to identify the antecedents that influenced consumer’s attitudes towards Tourism in Malaysia web advertising that is widely available. Based on a review of the existing literature in a range of fields, this study proposes a conceptual model of the positive relationships between customer’s atitude with informativeness, entertainment, credibility, economic value, interactivity and materialism. The proposed conceptual model is developed based on the Elaboration Likehood (ELM). Tourism Malaysia strongly rides on its slogan ‘Malaysia Truly Asia” that signifies the ever-changing and growing needs for the future. Furthermore, Tourism Malaysia web advertising also can affect the consumer’s decision-making process and behavior. The researcher expects this research to make several theoretical, managerial and policy contributions. For instance, the tourism promotional board which wants to change the customer’s attitude needs to take into consideration the influence factors such as informativeness, entertainment, credibility, economic value, interactivity and materialism for the web adverstisement.

AbstractThe target article by Boyer & Petersen (B&P) contributes a vital message: that people have folk economic theories that shape their thoughts and behavior in the marketplace. This message is all the more important because, in the history of economic thought, Homo economicus was increasingly stripped of mental capacities. Intuitive theories can help restore the mind of Homo economicus.

Abstract We identify the significance and typical requirements of developmental analyses of the microbiome-gut-brain (MGB) in parents, offspring, and parent-offspring relations, which have particular importance for neurobehavioral outcomes in mammalian species, including humans. We call for a focus on behavioral measures of social-emotional function. Methodological approaches to interpreting relations between the microbiota and behavior are discussed.

There is extensive interest in SiGe for use in heterojunction bipolar transistors. SiGe/Si superlattices are also of interest because of their potential for use in infrared detectors and field-effect transistors. The processing required for these materials is quite compatible with existing silicon technology. However, before SiGe can be used extensively for devices, there is a need to understand and then control the origin and behavior of defects in the materials. The present study was aimed at investigating the structural quality of, and the behavior of defects in, graded SiGe layers grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).The structures investigated in this study consisted of Si1-xGex[x=0.16]/Si1-xGex[x= 0.14, 0.13, 0.12, 0.10, 0.09, 0.07, 0.05, 0.04, 0.005, 0]/epi-Si/substrate heterolayers grown by CVD. The Si1-xGex layers were isochronally grown [t = 0.4 minutes per layer], with gas-flow rates being adjusted to control composition. Cross-section TEM specimens were prepared in the 110 geometry. These were then analyzed using two-beam bright-field, dark-field and weak-beam images. A JEOL JEM 200CX transmission electron microscope was used, operating at 200 kV.
