Employees are playing the major role in any organization, as they are the assets of the company, thus the company’s success depending on the employees’ activeness and their performance. As it is obvious that the company or the organization must invest on effective training on their employees in order to grow up the job performance. The Human Resource Management is the research area, which conducted many research and surveys especially on the factors of training and developing programs on Employees performance. The purpose of this study is to investigate and measure the effects of training programs on Employees performance in Afghanistan’s Telecommunication Companies as a case study. Four objectives were developed in order to understand the study aim. This study is based on four case studies of the biggest Telecommunication companies, which currently they are operating in Afghanistan. A quantitative research was implemented which the data are collected through the questionnaires by approaching 18 questions that distributed to 61 respondents within those four companies employees’. As a result, to findings the resourceful and active Human Resource Managers with respect to the decision makers of the Telecom companies. With respect to Training and development results with optimal utilization of resources in a company or organization. There is no wastage of resources, which may cause extra expenses. Accidents are also reduced during working. All the machines and resources are used economically, reducing expenditure. This case study mainly tangled 4 Telecommunication companies survey (private/Public) sectors, in Afghanistan and the duration of completion of the research was conducted within 6 months period. The questionnaires were distributed to the 61 active employees’ of those telecom companies. mostly the respondents of the questionnaire were from HR, Admin, Training Development teams and technical departments, the data was analyzed through AMOS version 20 and Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 20.

Maintenance, especially in a Marine environment, is continuous and costly. Life Cycle Management of a Marine Gas Turbine system encompasses many costs, of which repair parts, labor and equipment downtime associated with failures and maintenance are a significant portion. In fact, people (labor) make up the largest component of overall maintenance costs. Investing in people the largest cost driver to life cycle cost has a direct return in the long run, in terms of maintenance effectiveness and efficiencies. Applying and reinforcing knowledge and skills in a maintenance environment translates to improved reliability outcomes, longer operating time, fewer parts needs, and ultimately costs savings. However, given today’s constrained fiscal environment, the value of spending money for training rather than buying more parts or applying more maintenance, may not appear obvious. Such thinking is short sighted, and ultimately leads to reduced reliability and increased maintenance in the long run. This paper will explore these areas, and recommend how training programs can be effective predictive, proactive and responsive.

This study aimed to highlight the challenge that Secondary School teachers face in integrating the Islamic concept of tawhid in teaching science and history subjects. The research employed a qualitative design using a case study and collect data. A purposive sample consisting of 5 teachers from Al-Amin Islamic Secondary School was selected based on teaching experience. The teachers were interviewed according to a theme-based strategy, and collected data was transcribed and analyzed accordingly. Findings have shown that integrating tawhid in the subjects of Science and History is an aim that teachers in Islamic schools in Malaysia hope to achieve. However, obstacles and challenges continue to hinder their efforts. Theoretical and practical propositions and recommendations to make this aim achievable, such as revisiting the concept of tawhid integration, enhancing teachers' creativity skills in the classroom, and providing relevant training programs by school authorities, would undoubtedly help attain their ultimate objective.

The research has been conducted to understand the training effectiveness where health professional participates for training who work under the Bangladesh Government. The research used the Kirkpatrick model. The paper has collected data form, 323 participants. The research measured the training effectiveness using survey questions. The multiple regression techniques have used to conduct analysis of the collected data. The findings of the research revealed that the training effectiveness has been affected significant positively by training motivation, trainer qualification, and training design. Moreover, the training environment does not have significant role on the impacting of the training effectiveness respectively. The study has specific recommendations based on the above findings as the bench mark to improve the effectiveness training in Bangladesh and the regions.

Education and training is recognized to be important to the success of e-government. Nonetheless, research in e-government education has remained at a nascent phase. This paper advances the state of e-government education research through a case study. It answers the research question “How to develop an e-government training program.” Through the adoption of stakeholder theory as the theoretical foundation, and the analysis of the case data, a two-stage process model is developed. This model not only provides a theoretical explanatory basis for the process of developing e-government training programs, but also a practical guide for practitioners in developing such training programs. In addition, it is hoped that this paper will serve as a basis upon which future research can take reference in order to develop a cumulative tradition of employing theoretically-based approach to advance the state of e-government education research.

Enterprise risk management (ERM) is used to manage, integrate and aggregate all types of risks encountered by the concerned organisation. Despite having established framework and guidelines, the implementation of ERM at divisional level seemed to be lacking. There are gaps in the actual risk management practices that need to be studied and narrowed to ensure a more effective implementation of risk management. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify characteristics of effective risk management practices and to gauge the effectiveness level at a telecommunication company. The gaps between the actual practices and the expected practices based on twenty-four (24) identified characteristics are identified and compared upon before recommendations are made to close the gaps and further enhance the risk management practices. For the purpose of this research the self-administered, web-based questionnaires were distributed to a total number of 130 engineers who were actively involved with network infrastructure planning, development and maintenance. The feedbacks received indicated that the respondents agreed with the identified characteristics of effective risk management practices and generally agreed that the effectiveness level of current risk management practices in the company is moderate or average. Furthermore, the gap analysis based on the variances indicates that there are rooms for further improvement. The study is important for more effective risk management practices in telecommunication companies.

Over the last few decades, several administrations in Canada have organized programs for training local elected officials (LEOs). While improving LEOs’ competences is beneficial, this trend is developing amidst a persisting tension between democratic and technocratic approaches to governance. Indeed, training - and the professionalization it entails - disrupts the enduring principle holding that everyone is equally authorized to govern following the democratic election. Despite the significance of these transformations, training activities for LEOs have received limited scholarly attention until now. In this paper, we detail our conceptualization of the professionalization process and the role of training programs within it. We then review the existing Canadian training programs for LEOs. We also examine one case study: the main introductory training program for LEOs in Québec (Canada) since 2011. Accordingly, we advance our understanding of training’s effects on elected officials by emphasizing how they contribute to a long-term process of professionalization.
