The cosmetics trend is apparently in line with the fashion trend which is likely to change from time to time. Competition in the cosmetics industry today, coupled with the increasing number of imported cosmetic products on the market require cosmetic companies to continue innovating and taking advantage of opportunities as possible. A very rapid development of Internet opens opportunities for cosmetic companies, especially PT EIGL, to be able to offer products to Internet users. The purpose of this study is to build a prototype e-commerce application, preceded by identifying the odds and the readiness of companies in conducting e-commerce. The methodology used is the analysis of the company's readiness using the preparation analysis of a market opportunity and design application using object-oriented approach. The research results in an e-commerce application that consists of the front-end and content management system. From this study it can be concluded that PT EIGL retains the opportunity to run e-commerce. To facilitate the company in managing e-commerce website a content management system is created in an easy way to operate.

Grandon Gill, Professor and Academic Director of the Doctor of Business Administration program at the Muma College of Business (MCOB) of the University of South Florida, pondered the question. A few months before, he had volunteered to take on the creation of two open access journals, to be called the Muma Case Review (MCR) and the Muma Business Review (MBR). The first of these would publish business discussion case studies and technical notes intended for educational purposes and would exist entirely online. The second would publish research of interested to business practice and would initially publish online and would also provide printed volumes. Just a week before, Gill had committed to launching the MCR within two months. At the time, this deadline did not seem unreasonable. He already had sufficient case studies to provide a year’s worth of content. What he did not have, however, was a specific plan for delivering the content. Originally, he had planned to use the publishing component of the review system that would be handling submission and review of manuscripts. The MCOB’s dean, however, had indicated that he wanted a level of branding that could not be accommodated by the review system. Thus, a new solution to the reader-facing front end of the two journals was required. Gill’s instinctive reaction had been to propose a front-end solution that employed WordPressTM, a content management system that provided flexible functionality that could be adapted to a journal front end. According to the web survey group W3Techs, as of early 2015, nearly a quarter of the top 10 million websites in the world used WordPress. Gill, himself, had used it for years for his personal blog and was comfortable with its capabilities. As he thought about it further, however, Gill also recalled that his personal website had been taken down at least five times by anonymous hackers. In each case, WordPress had been identified as a likely source of the problem—although that had never actually been confirmed. His dean would not be pleased if similar disruption of the MCOB’s flagship journal websites took place. Should Gill be considering alternative solutions? And, even if he did choose WordPress or a similar content management system, there were many possible ways it could be deployed: as a service provider, as an application hosted in the cloud or on a local server. Each had its own pros and cons from a security standpoint. And the costs could be very different. This decision was proving to be far less straightforward than he had first thought.

Content Management System (CMS) is a system or software in developing content. What is meant by content is all forms of digital information, in the form of image files, audio, video, text and other computer files. CMS makes it easy to create attractive website pages without having to understand how to create a website from scratch. Likewise, Lancang Kuning University has created an Integrated CMS website or integrated with faculty websites at Lancang Kuning University, by creating one database but the frontend and backend templates can be customized as desired. With this integrated website, it will make it easier for the main admin and faculty admin to maintain the website, including in its development. This website was built using the concept of Object Oriented and using a codeigniter framework.C

Rapid development of Internet technique and electronic commerce change the way of operation and management in enterprises and organizations, of which information storage systems will be affected greatly. Researchers are now more and more interested in finding a way to access information effect and efficient. We design and implement a web content management system which allows content creators to create, submit and manage contents conveniently. In our web content management system, data can be defined as documents, movies, pictures, phone numbers, scientific data, and so forth. We analyze the destination and function of web content management system first, and then design how files are organized and managed. In web content management system, the content is stored and managed at the sub-document or component level for greater content reuse. With web content management system, users can maintain security, manage objects, manage servers, and manage auditing easily.

A study program which represents a college will always attempt to link its activities with the needs of society and industry as for its graduates to be recognized outside. Various activities such as internships, industry reviews, theses, and others the need to show the results individually and be exposed widely, so that it becomes part of student testimonials at work. Displaying and publishing the work of academic community can be done with the support of information technology through a web-based application, called virtual gallery application, based on a content-management-system. The research object is limited on work of student activities on a study program. The base to manage and publish the work of academic community uses: (1) object-oriented method (2) web-based application development. Theevaluation results make easy the management of the academic community’s work, increase the competitive advantage of the graduates, and be able to improve the quality of a study program at a college.

Technically registration form for new Binus institution must be regenerated and not dynamic. Therefore, this research is objected to simplify the creation of registration process for new Binus institution and provide solutions to the problem when Binus establish other new institutions. Methodology used is analysis and design of the database (database oriented). Analysis is done by asking the problems of existing systems in the IT Directorate, whereas the design uses UML diagram notation 2.0. The results obtained is front end and back end applications for the Content Management System of the registration form. The results of this design can be used to simplify the new student registration or in the many Binus institutions by grouping similar fields. With some changes in the front end and back end applications for content Management System, the addition of new online admission application form can be managed faster, where the creation of admision registration form is managed in the back end application. As suggestions for future development, online admission registration can be run in mobile version.

The recent and rapid development of mobile devices and the increasing popularity of e learning have created a demand for mobile learning packages and environments. We have analyzed the possibilities of adapting the existing content for mobile devices, and have implemented two fundamentally different systems to satisfy the demand that has arisen. One of the systems creates e learning courses from existing materials and adapts them to the specified platform (this system realizes the functionalities of the Content Management System). The other system is a modified version of the Moodle Learning Management System, which can adapt existing courses right before displaying them. This paper discuses the fundamentals of e learning, the design considerations and investigates various methods of scalable video coding. Finally the realization details of the two systems are presented.

Content management is an organisational effort of managing content, particularly in digital format. Although it has been over 25 years since content management was introduced, this field of study is still considered an emerging topic with unresolved issues-in particular, the subject of benefit achievement. Therefore, grounded on an extensive review of 135 articles, the purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits that organisations can gain through the proper use of an Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS). Subsequently, this paper identifies a list of ECMS benefits and proposes an ECMS benefit framework for further exploration into this field. Our result shows that although ECMS does bring benefits to organisations, these benefits are diverse; indicating that there are certain determinants or factors influencing the achievement of such benefits. Moreover, it is also found that in the context of the benefit framework of Shang and Seddon [10], three categories were found relevant to the field of content management: operational benefit, managerial benefit, and strategic benefit.
