The utilization of e-learning can improve effectiveness and flexibility of learning. One important activities e-learning feature is a discussion forum. Communication between educators and students in class will be more effective if combined with communication through a discussion forum. Binus Online Learning is selected as a place of research. Binus Online Learning is a program of Bina Nusantara University that offers online study activities, which most of the students are invited to have self study activities. The aim of this research is to do requirement analysis and then to design a forum discussion called M-learning for Binus Online Learning so that it will be beneficial for the students that they can easily use the faster access. In this research, used are data collection through surveis, and analysis based on are literature study and the current systems, while rich picture and user interface are used for design. The results obtained are some features for the mobile learning discussion forum.

This article discusses the question of interaction in corporate e-learning. I will define the three kinds of interaction in Moore’s model, explain the value of interactivity in learning, evaluate the benefits and limitations of using interactions, discuss the differences and similarities among learning through computers, learning from computers and learning with computers. Interaction takes on distinctive meanings in different contexts. Interaction is found in computer games, e-commerce sites, user-interface designs, online media, and education. Users have experienced interactions that set their expectations and definitions. The different experiences create challenges for instructional design experts because they muddy the definition and establish expectations regarding interactions that may not have direct transference to interactive online learning.

Abstract Enhancement of teaching using digital materials is rapidly entering the world of medical studies. Creation of a self-learning environment supported with self-tests is received well, or even enthusiastically, among students. On the other hand, there is a relatively large group of opponents among university teachers, who do not see the need for changes in teaching and testing methodology to be made. This attitude may be surfacing as a result of anxiety connected with implementing new technologies in teaching medical subjects, as well as the belief that implementing new technologies does not have an immediate effect on learning quality. The authors of this article attempt to demonstrate that a thoughtful choice of e-learning platform facilitates the process of implementing online learning and testing aids in medical faculties. The second part of the article presents initial results of studies concerning the efficiency of learning enhanced with self-tests. Our analysis details the results of exams in pathophysiology taken by students of the medical faculty at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences. After the course, an evaluation survey was completed by 195 students concerning the quality of teaching with the use of the OLAT (Online Learning and Training) e-learning portal. It showed that students had positive attitudes toward learning with the use of online materials, particularly with regard to the use of self-tests, which allowed students to check their knowledge independently in exam-like conditions. The article that follows is targeted at those teachers who are interested in implementing a self-study and electronic knowledge evaluation environment for their courses, not necessarily in medical subjects.

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasaan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online dan efektifitas pembelajaran online (E-Learning). Penelitian ini juga bertujuan agar pembelajaran E-Learning dapat menjadi solusi yang terbaik, dengan memberikan pembelajaran yang efektif demi meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik. Ini juga membantu untuk mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar mandiri siswa. Metode pengambilan sampel bertingkat telah diadopsi dalam penelitian ini dan jumlah sampelnya 134 di Universitas Slamet Riyadi (Unisri) Fakultas Managemen. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepercayaan diri dan kepuasaan pembelajaran online berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pembelajaran, keduanya bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Kepercayaan Diri; Kepuasaan; Hasil Pembelajaran. Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine student satisfaction in implementing online learning and the effectiveness of online learning (E-Learning). This study also aims that E-Learning learning can be the best solution, by providing effective learning to improve student achievement. It also helps to find solutions to improve students' self-study skills. The stratified sampling method has been adopted in this study and the sample size is 134 at the Slamet Riyadi University (Unisri) Faculty of Management. The findings of this study are students while the variable self-confidence have a significant effect on learning performance, and online learning satisfaction has a significant effect on learning performance, while self-confidence and satisfaction with online learning together have a positive and significant effect on learning performance. <span>This paper reports on a study carried out in Thailand investigating the relationship between students' use of an e-learning system and their learning outcomes in a course on Business Statistics. The results show a clear relationship between accesses to the e-learning system, as measured by number of "hits", and outcomes, as measured by final results. While the results do not establish a direct casual connection, they indicate that under appropriate conditions a component of online study provides significant benefits to learning. In this, it contrasts with the results of recent studies that find no relationship between access and results. Quotes taken from interviews with some of the students illuminate the relationship between the online learning environment and their own learning.</span>

ABSTRAK Universitas Pamulang merupakan salah satu kampus swasta yang telah melaksanakan sistem pembelajaran secara online. Pada sistem pembelajaran online ini atau yang disebut dengan e-learning, terdapat banyak aktivitas antara dosen dan mahasiswa di antaranya diskusi online dan sharing data. Kegiatan e-learning ini tidak terbatas oleh tempat dan waktu. Namun, pada kenyataannya terdapat beberapa mahasiswa yang tidak melakukan e-learning. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu melakukan evaluasi usability untuk meningkatkan kepuasan user dalam menggunakan e-learning. Metode penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka, studi lapangan dan kuesioner SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory). Kuesioner dilakukan terhadap 20 responden, diantanya 10 mahasiswa dan 10 dosen teknik informatika. Kuesioner dilakukan dengan 3 kategori yaitu efektivitas, efisiensi dan kepuasan dengan masing-masing 10 soal sehingga terdapat 60 pertanyaan dan 3 linker yaitu 4 jika setuju semua, 2 jika tidak tahu dan 0 tidak setuju. Hasil perhitungan kuesioner SUMI terhadap e-learning teknik informatika yaitu 92.5; 87.5; 75; 90; 90; 75. Hasil evaluasi usability berada di atas rata-rata artinya usability pada sistem E-learning teknik informatika UNPAM sudah masuk kategori baik.   ABSTRACT PamulangUniversityis one of the private campus that has implemented online learning system. In this online learning system or called e-learning, there are many activities between lecturers and students such as online discussion and data sharing. This e-learning activity is not limited by time and place. However, in reality there are some students who do not do e-learning. The purpose of this study is to evaluate usability to improve user satisfaction in using e-learning. This research method is literature study, field study and questionnaire SUMI (Software Usability Measurement Inventory). Questionnaires were conducted on 20 respondents, including 10 students and 10 lecturers of informatics engineering. Questionnaires were conducted with 3 categories of effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction with each 10 questions so there are 60 questions and 3 linkers that is 4 if all agree, 2 if not know and 0 disagree. Results of calculation of SUMI questionnaire to e-learning informatics technique that is 92.5; 87.5; 75; 90; 90; 75. The result of usability evaluation is above average means usability on E-learning system of informatics engineering UNPAM has been categorized well.

The goal for implementing this system is to help users manage and track history about their eat pattern, choose proper food for body’s need, and pick restaurants. Methodology used for this research contains three parts, which is analysis, design, and literature study. In requirement analysis, we do some interview with nutritionist and food provider, analysis iOS user, compare with same kind of application, and identify components that we need. In design method, we use Unified Modelling Language approach, ERD design, and user interface design. The result is a food planning mobile application with iOS platform. This application can help user manage and track their eat pattern, help user choose balanced food that suitable for their body, and inform user where they can get food they plan to eat.

The pandemic has been putting pressure for us to make a big digital leap, in an instant, education changed as if it’s a digitalization remote, forces pupils to manage and master digital device in order to participate in education, and it’s not just the pupils who adhere to these changes, but also the teachers, schools, families, even society. This online learning system demands teachers’ role, even more, bestowing the measurement of a successful online learning process, which determined by the teacher, creativity enhancement so that learning becomes interesting with the fully online e-learning format learning method.  This case study research will examine teachers’ strategies to overcome problems that arise in online learning through character building. This research purpose is to describe educator roles in overcoming online learning problems through character building. This research captures its data through observations, in-depth interview, documentation study and literature study. Furthermore, this research uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing as methods of analysis. To test the reliability of the data, this research uses data, method and source triangulation. The result of this research shows that teachers and pupils collaboration through its creativity is a must, one of it is to involve OSIS as an activity partner.

One of the demands of universities today is to implement an online learning system. During the pandemic, all activities are carried out online, including lecture activities. Based on observations during learning during the pandemic, especially in the odd semester of 2020/2021, many lecturers implemented e-learning, from 30% to 85%, this was a very significant increase. This also had a significant effect on students, especially the level of participation in lectures increased. Student participation has an important role in learning success. The active participation of students is able to achieve learning goals so that academic achievement increases. Discussion forums are a vehicle for students to develop ideas and thoughts. From the results of the observation the discussion forum can increase their participation in the discussion, it can even trigger them to give their opinion so that students have confidence in conveying their ideas. This forum also provides space and flexibility so that all students actively participate in lectures. The student participation rate in e-learning courses reaches 90% of each topic discussed.

This study aims to describe the implementation of recorder learning using WhatsApp application in class VII.5 at SMPN 2 Pariaman.This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, interview, observation, and documentation. The steps for analyzing data are collecting the data, describing the data, and making conclusions.The results show that the implementation of learning using WhatsApp application at SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman, especially in class VII.5, has not been carried out well because not all students participate in the process of online learning. There are obstacles in the implementation of online learning such as internet connection, internet loads. In addition, there are still some students who do not have cellphones. As a result, there are many students who do not participate in the learning process using WhatsApp application. At the presentation and delivery stage, the teacher only gives assignments to students through group chat or voice messages on WhatsApp groups that have been made specifically for learning Cultural and Arts. The training and practice stages are not optimal because the activities cannot be directly controlled by the teacher.Keyword: recorder, whatsapp, online study, learning process

Utilization of e-learning can improve learning effectiveness and flexibility. Features of e-learning that are important in teaching and learning activities are tasks features, discussion forums and discussion face to face in a video conference. BINUS Online Learning is a program that offers students to conduct online lectures. Online BINUS need to think about software and hardware that must be provided in a tablet. Therefore, this study will analyze the use of the tablet which will be used for student BINUS Online Learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs, and then determines the specifications of the tablet to be used as a replacement for netbook facility at Binus Online Learning. The research methodology used include, among others: Data Collection Methods (by conducting surveys), and the analysis method that consists of literature study and analysis of the system running, by using the rich picturer.
