Este articulo muestra las distintas etapas y los resultados correspondientes al diseño, desarrollo e implementación de un curso virtual de Ingeniería de Software, cuyo objetivo era potenciar el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Ingeniería de Software en la Universidad. Como referencia se utilizo el modelo ADDIE, que preemitió la evaluación del curso. Los resultados obtenidos certificaron la calidad del producto y el cumplimiento de sus objetivos.Virtual course desing to support the teaching learning process of de discipline of software engineering and management at the university of computer scienceAbstractThis article shows the various stages and results for the design, development and implementation of a virtual course of Software Engineering, whose aim was to promote the development of teaching-learning process of Software Engineering at the University. Instructional material are an important part in determining the quality of learning. The design of the development of instructional material needs to pay attention to the development model to ensure the quality of instructional material in supporting learning effectiveness, because the development of instuctional material is basically a linear process with the learning process. One of the designs for the development of instructional material that is often used is the ADDIE Model through 5 stages; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The ADDIE model is a learning system design model that shows the basic stages of a learning system that is easy to do.

The study has developed an android-based mobile application that can assist in the teaching-learning process of civic education in senior high schools. As a research-and-development activity, it employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Based on validation by material experts, the developed application was very feasible to use (89.04%), and the media experts concurred with this assessment (90.78%). During the large-group trials, the application scored between 3.96 and 4.68, meaning that it provides an excellent media or platform with high feasibility for the teaching-learning process of civic education in senior high schools.

As a profession, a librarian has an ethic codes to be understood by librarian candidates. In the learning process, candidates or students should be introduced to the knowledge, attitude, and skills required to become a librarian. Through the learning process in the Etika Profesi Pustakawan (Professional Etiquette of Librarians) subject, students are introduced to a number of attitudes, ethics, and knowledge, prompting them to think critically in order to become a professional librarian with good etiquette. To achieve such goal, the learning process should be designed in the first place using the ADDIE approach to achieve expected results in accordance with the goals set. The present study is a review on an instructional design which can be developed to improve the quality of learning process, particularly in the efforts to enhance students’ critical thinking skill in order to become an ethical librarian. The development of the learning design employs the ADDIE approach. The ADDIE model consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Analysis step is purposed to identify potential factors causing a gap in the performance. In the Design step, the expected performance is tested and assessed using proper testing method. The Development step comprises an activity to produce and validating the selected learning resources supporting the learning process. The Implementation step comprises the preparation of learning environment and the involvement of the students. At last, the Evaluation step is done to evaluate the quality of the learning process and products, both before and after the implementation of the program. Through ADDIE model approach, a learning program will be designed, aiming at improving students’ critical thinking ability in order to become an ethical librarian.

The present study reflects the results obtained from a diagnosis carried out with Education students concerning the writing of academic essays. The objective was to identify the perceptions that Comprehensive Education students have about their ability to write academic essays. A descriptive cross-sectional research study was conducted at a single point in time, and in this case, in a single period or academic cycle, on the subject of written expression. In order to analyze the results from a mathematical-statistical perspective, descriptive statistics were used, in particular the calculation of the mean and the percentage analysis. The results showed that, of the 26 students, 50% rated themselves to have a fair level of essay writing ability. These self-assessment results do not correspond to the quality of the essays written by the students, who demonstrated a low level of essay writing ability. The practice of writing essays is a fundamental activity for the development of written communication at the university level; however, the teaching-learning process must be planned, since this type of writing is one of the most complex skills and has the greatest potential for explaining one’s position and writing creatively. In no way can it be left in the hands of the students; it is necessary to formulate a different learning process that helps the students write essays of better quality.

Con el auge en la creación de Objetos de Aprendizaje (OA) para apoyar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en las universidades cubanas, ha cambiado de manera significativa la forma en que los docentes diseñan y preparan sus cursos, permitiéndoles actualizar su contenido con el uso cotidiano de la tecnología. Como parte de este proceso, se comienzan a tener en cuenta la forma de evaluar eficientemente la calidad de los Objetos de Aprendizaje que se producen. Para ello se consideran diferentes criterios a la hora de evaluarlos. En esta investigación se resumen las características, definiciones y ventajas de los OA. Se exponen además diferentes modelos de evaluación y estándares de catalogación. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es lograr  conformar la base necesaria para fundamentar una guía que permita evaluar la calidad de los Objetos de Aprendizaje una vez creados en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas, y de esta manera garantizar una mayor utilización y una mejor aceptación de los mismos.The quality of the learning objects produced at the university of information sciencesAbstractWith the boom in the creation of Learning Objects to support the teaching-learning process in Cuban universities, has significantly changed the way in which teachers design and prepare their courses, allowing them to update the content daily use of technology. As part of this process, they begin to consider how to efficiently evaluate the quality of learning objects that are produced. This will consider various criteria when evaluating them. This research summarizes the characteristics, definitions and benefits of OA. Also discussed different models of evaluation and documentation standards. The main objective of this work is to form the basis for founding a guide for evaluating the quality of learning objects once created at the University of Information Sciences, and thereby ensure greater use and greater acceptance of them.

The work considered a system of knowledge control of the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University. It was shown that the quality of higher education depends mainly on the level of student training, the qualifications of teaching staff, the organization of the learning process, the efficiency of monitoring the quality of the education, and also factors allowing to improve the quality of education in the university. Assessment of the knowledge quality received by the students in the "Chemistry" discipline was carried out among the students of the Automobile Faculty of the KHNADU, entered the first year of the Bachelor of full-time education, during 2014/15–2018/19 academic years. The control was carried out with the help of traditional pedagogical practice types – the main (preliminary, final, and control of residual knowledge) and periodical (current and thematic knowledge tests). Statistical research on the performance of the main types of students' knowledge control, as more significant, shows that the important part of educational activity in university is an effective organization of its control. It was established that main principles of the control of students’ knowledge received during learning subject are the regularity and systematical conduct, the objectivity of assessment of the level of students' skills, the ability to identify the actual level of learning educational materials by the students, the timeliness of identification of the gaps in the learning process by the teacher and applying ways to overcome them. The internal and external factors affecting the performance of students during studying the "Chemistry" discipline have been distinguished. The internal factors are the knowledge level before entering the university and the motivation for learning the subject. The external are an organization of the educational process, self-organization of student learning activity, teaching methods and forms and professionalism of the educator, quality of additional services (holding consultations and individual lessons), educator-student relationship. It was identified that during studying the "Chemistry" discipline, the influence of the factors that students had before entering the university is weakened, and the external factors, which appeared in the process of studying in university, have a significant impact.

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan Film Seri Animasi 3D “Cerita Made” sebagai Media Pembelajaran BIPA di Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. (2) Untuk mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik BIPA terhadap Film Seri Animasi 3D “Cerita Made” sebagai Media Pembelajaran BIPA di Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. Pengembangan Film Seri Animasi 3D “Cerita Made” sebagai Media Pembelajaran BIPA di Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Model ADDIE merupakan singkatan dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu data respon peserta didik BIPA UNDIKSHA terhadap pengembangan Film Seri Animasi 3D “Cerita Made” sebagai Media Pembelajaran BIPA di Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Film Animasi 3D berupa DVD yang menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia dengan subtitle dalam Bahasa Inggris. Film yang dihasilkan sudah sesuai dengan materi yang tertera pada modul pembelajaran BIPA Pemula serta silabus yang digunakan oleh BIPA UNDIKSHA. Respon peserta didik BIPA terhadap Film Seri Animasi 3D “Cerita Made” sebagai Media Pembelajaran BIPA di Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha masuk dalam rentangan sangat baik. The data collected is the response data of BIPA UNDIKSHA students to the development of the 3D Animation Series " Cerita Made " Film as BIPA Learning Media at the Education University of Ganesha using a questionnaire. The results of this study are 3D Animation Film in the form of DVDs that use Indonesian with subtitles in English. The film produced is in accordance with the material stated in the Beginner's BIPA learning module and the syllabus used by BIPA UNDIKSHA. Este trabajo realiza una revisión sistemática para identificar los principales hallazgos reportados en la literatura científica sobre la percepción del estudiante universitario hacia la práctica de estrategias de gamificación en su proceso de aprendizaje. La búsqueda documental se ha llevado a cabo a partir de la triangulación de las publicaciones incluidas en las bases de datos “Web of Science” y “Scopus” durante el período 2010-2019. Tras aplicar los criterios de selección y calidad, se han identificado un total de 20 estudios como muestra final. Los resultados demuestran el interés creciente de la comunidad científica por plantear trabajos sobre gamificación en Educación Superior. Además, se corrobora una predisposición favorable en el alumnado hacia el desarrollo de experiencias didácticas innovadoras basadas en la gamificación. Entre sus potencialidades, destaca el aumento de la motivación, el interés y la participación del alumnado en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, así como la mejora del rendimiento académico y el desarrollo de las habilidades y competencias necesarias para su desarrollo profesional. This work performs a systematic review to identify the main findings reported in the scientific literature on the perception of the university student towards the practice of gamification strategies in their learning process. The documentary search was carried out based on the triangulation of the publications included in the "Web of Science" and "Scopus" databases during the period 2010-2019. After applying the selection and quality criteria, a total of 20 studies have been identified as the final sample. The results demonstrate the growing interest of the scientific community to propose works on gamification in Higher Education. Furthermore, a favorable predisposition in the students towards the development of innovative didactic experiences based on gamification is corroborated. Among its potential, the increase in motivation, interest and participation of students in the teaching-learning process stands out, as well as improving academic performance and developing the skills and competences necessary for their professional development

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was launched on 29 September 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to rank the academic & research institutions across the country. The NIRF E-release of India Ranking 2020 was held on 11th June 2020. The present study analyses the top 100 Universities in terms of visualisation of data, the relationship of ranking with the parameters, and the relations among these parameters. Results of the study indicate that the Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR) score for all the universities was almost similar while Research and Professional Practice (RP) score had a considerable variation and played a significant role in ranking by having a positive linear correlation with the total score with the value of R2= 0.746. RP also has a strong correlation with the Peer Perception (PR) of the university. The average library expenditure of top-10 universities was 9.45 crore per annum. It was also found that library expenditure has a positive correlation with RP and the universities with higher research productivity also have a more outstanding quality of publication in terms of citations.

  Abstract The evolution of teaching is currently considered a very important task, both from an institutional and a moral viewpoint. The evaluation of such a domain, and its conduct, has been reported by several research studies in the literature. “Who? What? How? Drawing from which references? Which clues? Should the people assessed take part in the process? To what extent should the results be publicized?” (Demailly, 2001). For that reason, we will first draw some guidelines for the evaluation of teaching and try to define its possible objectives. Three main domains may be contemplated: teachers’ activity (teaching), the learning process (learning), and the effects of the teaching/learning process. These draw upon an enquiry carried out in three different faculties by our research team. This study is related to the VOLUBILIS project "Moroccan and European students: a comparative approach”, which aims to identify the challenges and expectations of Moroccan students. The purpose of this research is to indicate how students at Hassan II University of Casablanca judge the quality of their studies. We will be able to show that an evaluation of courses by students is both possible and profitable. As a matter of fact, this enquiry has brought up valuable information about higher education pedagogy that concerns the three fields mentioned earlier, and it also offer some suggestions to generate improvements.
