Sustainability and digitalization have become the main direction of transformation of enterprises. Building a digital twin platform network can provide enterprises with a comprehensive view of products, manufacture, supply chain, customer experience, and profitability, which is conducive to the construction of a sustainable business model. The purpose of this paper is to study how enterprises use digital twin platform networks to generate economic, social and environmental benefits in various dimensions and their coupling relationships. Based on the literature review, this paper constructs a five-dimensional framework of a sustainable business model, and analyses the coupling relationship between dimensions. Using Haier as a way to verify the five-dimensional framework, it explores the dynamic mechanism of the Haier digital twin platform network, constructs an integrated framework based on coupling perspective and compares it with other two home appliance enterprises. The study shows that, through the digital twin platform network, enterprises can remove the disadvantage of focusing on a single product life cycle, and form a comprehensive network, so as to promote overall sustainable upgrades. This paper draws generic strategies and digital transformation suggestions for enterprises to innovate the sustainable business model. The conclusion enriches the research on sustainable business models both theoretically and practically and provides a feasible reference for the transformation of enterprises in digital economy environment.

PurposeThe business model plays a key role in the survival and success of any business. In the family business context, the business model includes more than purely economic variables, and it is vital to recognise and identify these for sound business decision-making. This empirical and grounded research clarifies the nature of the business model for small family wineries and, for the first time, specifies four key non-economic or socio-emotional wealth dimensions of the business models for these enterprises.Design/methodology/approachThe nature of business models is identified by analysing qualitative data from in-depth interviews with decision-makers in small family wineries in Australia. This was done using an abductive approach that produces maps identifying the key dimensions of their business models.FindingsThis research supports the construct of socio-emotional wealth by clarifying the non-economic sources of value in these businesses, while not ignoring economic sources of value. In particular, this grounded study identifies “being special”, “tradition”, “relationships” and “control” as key dimensions of socio-emotional value.Research limitations/implicationsThis research provides empirical support for the emerging view that non-economic value should be incorporated into the business model construct. In particular, it specifies four key dimensions of socio-emotional wealth in the firm that are incorporated in a proposed empirical model of the business model of family wine businesses that is appropriate for further study. This research was carried out with cases in one industry that were as similar as possible to obtain robust findings and provides the basis for generalisation through replication in other industries and in other categories of family businesses.Practical implicationsThis research has significant practical implications associated with the concept of value. The particular dimensions of value as perceived by business owners need to be considered explicitly by business owners and advisors in their strategic and operational decision-making.Originality/valueSmall family wineries represent most enterprises operating in the global wine industry. This research study provides empirical support for the role of socio-emotional wealth, or the non-economic components, in their business models. In particular, this study specifies key dimensions for socio-emotional wealth, and the findings have conceptual as well as practical value.

Purpose. The aim of the article is generalization of scientific-theoretical and improvement of methodological approaches to substantiation of innovative business- model of logistical support of innovative development of the enterprise for timely satisfaction of consumer demand. Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods are used in the process of research, in particular: system analysis - to determine the impact of external and internal environment, market infrastructure on innovative business models of logistics of enterprise development; abstract and logical - in determining the possibilities of logistical support for the development of the enterprise and meeting the needs of consumers. Findings. The need for enterprise development in the form of an efficient and competitive logistics system, which is currently costly and imperfect, negatively affects the investment attractiveness and competitiveness of products, enterprises and the country. It is established that logistics belongs to the category where the impact of digitalization is difficult to fully assess and implement due to the need for comprehensive modernization of infrastructure and technological processes. The sphere of logistics services in Industry 4.0 is characterized by features that are both indicators of the development of digitalization: the use of big data and cloud technologies; the spread of the Internet of Things; robotics development; dissemination of 3D printing technology; block-chain; crowdsourcing. Originality. The logistical support of the innovative business model of modern enterprise development is proposed, which should be based on a system set of methods and organizational and management mechanisms of information technologies, software packages to achieve strategic development goals based on innovative transformation and implementation and use of artificial intelligence systems and Smart-grid technologies, network structures, clusters or hubs in search of opportunities to strengthen innovation capacity to meet the needs of consumers in a timely manner. Practical value. The obtained results of the study can be used to expand the introduction of logistics innovations as part of innovative development of the enterprise, achieve better results of enterprises of industrial and non-industrial spheres, which will bring them to a new level of development and improve the economic situation from the standpoint of logistics as time requirements are constant monitoring of the market situation for the use of new methods of work and constant modifications of products or services. Introduction. The scale of the risks, threats, and consequently the challenges of reducing and improving the efficiency of waste management, provides significant business opportunities. The circular system enables efficient movement of materials, energy, labor and information for the purpose of restoring natural and social capital. The circular economy should be part of efforts to boost economic development, overcome wasteful consumption and reduce undemocratic power structures in the global economy. Hence, the topic is relevant and needs appropriate research. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to research the biophysical environment of the circular system, the level of integration of resources and the regeneration of the biosystem in the concept of development of the circular economy. Methods. Research methods of problems related to the concept of circular economy development are based on general and specific methods of studying economic processes, phenomena and facts concerning the integration of resources and regeneration of the biosystem. This research uses monographic and graphical methods, methods of system analysis, systematization, classification, logical, theoretical and generalizations (in research the integration of resources and regeneration of the biosystem in the concept of development of circular economy). Results. The world economy meets the demand of the population in all continents at affordable prices, which gives consumers a much higher level of material comfort. The manufacturing industry transforms resources into an extremely large number of products and uses natural resources to produce waste products at the first need. It is relevant to break the product life cycle chain: “raw material-product-dust” and to change the linear economy. The basis for a new system – alternative to linear economy can be system that base on three principles: design waste and pollution; save products and materials in use; regeneration of the natural system. The circular economy is a systematic approach to economic development that can benefit business, society and the environment. The authors believe that, unlike the linear “raw material-product-dust” model, the circular economy model is regenerative in design and aims to gradually reduce the growth effect of the consumption of scarce resources. Accordingly, the circular approach provides systematic changes of everyone and everything: enterprises, governments and individuals; cities, products and jobs. Discussion. Further scientific researches of circular economy concept development, integration of resources, biosystem regeneration, evaluation of circular business models should be based on the current national and foreign methodology and organization of evaluation of the circularity of economy, its concepts and variations. Further studies should widely apply methods of operational and strategic forecasting and modelling of the enterprise waste management system, etc.

The term ?business model' has recently attracted increased attention in the context of financial reporting and was formally introduced into the IFRS literature when IFRS 9 Financial Instruments was published in November 2009. However, IFRS 9 did not fully define the term ‘business model'. Furthermore, the literature on business models is quite diverse. It has been conducted in largely isolated fashion; therefore, no generally accepted definition of ?business model' has emerged. Therefore, a better understanding of the notion itself should be developed before further investigating its potential role within financial reporting. The aim of this paper is to highlight some of the perceived key themes and to identify other bases for grouping/organizing the literature based on business models. The contributions this paper makes to the literature are twofold: first, it complements previous review papers on business models; second, it contains a clear position on the distinction between the notions of the business model and strategy, which many authors identify as a key element in better explaining and communicating the notion of the business model. In this author's opinion, the term ‘strategy' is a dynamic and forward-looking notion, a sort of directional roadmap for future courses of action, whereas, ‘business model' is a more static notion, reflecting the conceptualisation of the company's underlying core business logic. The conclusion contains the author's thoughts on the role of the business model in financial reporting.

This article summarizes the concept of sharing, bibliographic analysis of publications in the field of car-sharing based on the Scopus database. The primary purpose of the study is to study the economic and legal basis for the development of car-sharing business models in Ukraine. Systematization of literature sources and approaches devoted to the economic efficiency of the implementation of car-sharing business models has shown that in Ukraine, this issue is almost not paid attention to in the economic, scientific sphere, and legal, scientific areas. The urgency of solving this scientific problem lies in the need and ability to relieve road traffic from traffic jams, reducing the average downtime of vehicles, as well as economic benefits for entities (vehicle owners and passengers) involved in sharing business models. The research has the following logical sequence: the types of car-sharing business models were analyzed, and their comparative characteristics were carried out; the economic and legal preconditions of car-sharing business development in Ukraine are investigated. The research identifies legislative obstacles to the establishment of a car-sharing company in Ukraine. A SWOT analysis of the conditions for implementing a car-sharing business model in Ukraine was performed. It analyses the costs and efficiency of creating a business based on a car-sharing business model in Ukraine on a conditional example. We propose to use system-structural and comparative analysis to analyze the problems of modern transport, methods of formal-logical analysis for determining the directions of development of car-sharing business models, and economic method for assessing the effect and a payback period of the proposed project car-sharing business model. The study results can be useful for the development of the car-sharing business in Ukraine, for entrepreneurs, scientists, and vehicle owners. Keywords: car-sharing, car-sharing business model, car-sharing business, motor transport, hire, expenses, analysis.

The global tourism reality is changing, and not only because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This reality is especially representative in countries such as Spain, which are highly dependent on the income generated by the tourism sector. In these destinations, it is necessary to seek innovation and specialization in the sector in order to achieve new business models. This need is even more pressing in destinations overcrowded by the sun and beach effect, as is the case of Mallorca. The proposed work combines the concepts of sports tourism with the development of a wealth-generating business model that will contribute to promoting a tourism that is sustainable, environmentally friendly and deseasonalized. On the other hand, the proposed work will contribute to promoting integration and equality in the participation of women in sports through the development of a model based on the promotion of women’s football. Using the methodology of case analysis, the results of all the approaches outlined are provided, and we obtained a wealth-generation model that is easily replicable and sustainable over time. This work provides a solution to the combination of a sustainable business model that links responsible tourism, the promotion of women’s sport and the generation of wealth.
