This article attempts to discuss the impact of job satisfaction of teachers in Indonesia to their performance as professional educators. There are several factors that affect their satisfaction of the teacher. Psychological factor, which is related to mental and attitudes, including interest, talent, and skills; Social factor, that related to their social interaction with superiors, colleagues, students, and community. Physical factors, the factor related to the condition of the school such as policies that applied, type of work, working time, school facilities, teaching equipment facilities, teacher's office. teacher physical conditions like health, age, and so on. This study aims to determine the effect of work life balance on job satisfaction of lectures at Economy and Business Faculty, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. Work life balance as independent variable consist of time balance, involvement balance and satisfaction balance. And the job satisfaction as dependent variable measured by psychological factors, social factors, physical factors and financial factors. This research was descriptive and verificative method. Questionnaires were distributed to the lectures of the Economy and Business Faculty, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. Saturated sampling technique was used in this research. And the techniques of data analysis uses Descriptive Statistics and Simple Linier Regression. The results showed that work life balance positively effect job satisfaction of lectures at Economy and Business Faculty, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani. Work life balance has an effect on the job satisfaction of lectures by 31.8%, while the rest was effected by other variables that is not examined in this research.

Abstract The impact of floodplain hydrology on the in-stream dissolved oxygen dynamics and the relation between dissolved oxygen and water temperature are investigated. This has been done by examining the time series of dissolved oxygen and water temperature coupled with meteorological and hydrological data obtained from two lowland rivers having contrasting hydrological settings. Spectral analysis of long-term oxygen variations in a vegetated river revealed a distinct scaling regime with slope ‘–1’ indicating a self-similar behaviour. Identical slopes were obtained for water temperature and water level. The same power-law behaviour was observed for an unvegetated river at small timescales revealing the underlying scaling behaviour of dissolved oxygen regime for different types of rivers and over various time scales. The results have shown that the oxygenation of a vegetated river is strongly related to its thermal regime and flow conditions. Moreover, analysis of short-term fluctuations in the unvegetated river demonstrated that physical factors such as rainfall and backwaters play a substantial role in the functioning of this ecosystem. Finally, the results show that the relation between water temperature and dissolved oxygen concentration at the diurnal timescale exhibits a looping behaviour on the variable plot. The findings of this study provide an insight into the sensitivity of rivers to changing hydro-physical conditions and can be useful in the assessment of environmental variability.

The current research investigates the impact of internal corporate social responsibility on job satisfaction in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies. Quantitative research design and regression analysis were applied on a total of 302 valid returns that were obtained in a questionnaire based survey from 14 pharmaceutical companies among employees, supervisors and managers. The results showed that internal corporate social responsibility was significantly related to job satisfaction and three of its dimensions, namely working conditions, work life balance and empowerment contributed significantly to job satisfaction, whereas employment stability and skills development had no contribution. This study implies that Jordanian pharmaceutical companies have to try their best to promote and facilitate internal corporate social responsibility among their employees in an effort to improve their job satisfaction, which will eventually yield positive results for the company as a whole. In light of these results, the research presented many recommendations for future research; the most important ones were the application of this study in other sectors, cultures, and countries, and using of multi method for collecting data.

Strikes happened in some companies are often caused by employee dissatisfaction. They may disturb production processes and impede the achievement of company goals. Increasing job satisfaction can minimize the strike potential. Job satisfaction is affected by financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction factors. It was revealed that financial, physical, psychological, and social satisfaction have statistically significant negative effects on strike potential, with social factor to be the most dominant. Introduction.Methanol and its derivatives occupy one of the leading places among the main organic synthesis intermediates in terms of their importance and scale of production. According to experts, by 2027 the global demand for methanol can reach 135 million tons, the annual growth will be about 5.5%. However, there is little information regarding the assessment of working conditions and occupational risks for workers in modern methanol production and its derivatives. The aim of the studyis hygienic assessment of working conditions and the formation of health risks in workers of modern production of methanol and methylamines.Materials and methods. The assessment of the main adverse factors of production is given. When studying the state of health, objective indicators (the results of an in-depth medical examination) and subjective (the results of a quantitative assessment of the risks of the main pathological syndromes associated with health) are considered.Results.According to long-term observations, the concentration of harmful substances in the air of the working area, indicators of labor severity, parameters of physical factors met hygienic requirements, with the exception of industrial noise exceeding the maximum permissible level, as well as labor intensity of 1 degree. The General assessment of working conditions corresponds to the category of harmful 2 degrees (3.2). According to the results of the medical examination and quantitative assessment of the risks of health disorders in workers, the most significant were functional disorders and diseases of the circulatory system. The levels of somatic pathology on the part of the main body systems were significantly higher in apparatchiks compared to the engineering and technical personnel (ETP).Conclusions:In the production of methyl alcohol and methylamines, the main hygienic importance is the impact on workers of the complex of harmful substances of 1-IV hazard classes in low concentrations, increased levels of industrial noise, labor intensity of 1 degree. According to the subjective assessment of health and medical examination, the greatest prevalence of health risks in workers was observed from the circulatory system, and the levels of the revealed somatic pathology were statistically significantly higher in apparatchiks compared with the ETP.
