The analysis of the use of drives of mobile and transport robots is given. Various options for design solutions are considered, including the main selected drive of a mobile platform with four Omni-wheels, ensuring maximum mobility and maneuverability. Masses and ground clearance of vehicles of various classes are estimated to determine the overall dimensions of the mobile platform in terms of height and carrying capacity. It has been established that the necessary elements of a mobile platform are universal mounting plates and trailed equipment.The control systems of two variants have been developed. The first is automatic, for an autonomous mobile platform, and the second is for remote control. Control systems include 3 microcontrollers, 5 drivers, 6 motors, 4 sensors. The position of the mobile platform can be controlled by the operator remotely using a mobile application. Power supply of the MP is carried out from its own battery, from the car network or an external network. An algorithm for the operation of the control system for different versions is proposed. 3D models of the mobile platform and suspension unit models have been developed. Calculations of the lifting mechanism of the MP are given. The layout of the nodes of the mobile platform is presented.

The present study deals with the development of remote control system based on the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technology for switching the low voltage AC power supply system at residential consumer. Function of this system is to disconnect and reconnect the electricity supply to consumers. The introduction of the GSM technology and particularly the use of hand-held mobile phones has brought the innovative distance communication to remote locations. This utilization of this technology for the remote control of systems and appliances will make life easier, safe and quick from anywhere. GSM module was used for receiving short message service (SMS) from user’s mobile phone that automatically enable the controller to take any further action such as to switch on and off the consumer load at the incoming power supply. The system was integrated with microcontroller and GSM network interface using assembly language. AVR Studio 4 software was utilized to accomplish the integration. The system is activated when user sends the SMS to GSM controller circuit at electric meter consumption panel board. Upon receiving the SMS command, the microcontroller unit then automatically controls the incoming power supply by switching on or off the device according to the user command. In other words, the developed system reads message from the mobile phone and responds to control the devices according to the received message. The system can also give feedback to the user to inform the status of switching operation if such command is received.

The article examines the control system of a current transformer with automatic range control. All multi-limit current transformers allow measuring currents of different ranges with sufficient accuracy in the control systems of traction power supply devices. However, a common disadvantage for all of them is that if it is necessary to change the measurement range, the controlled current of the traction power supply device is disconnected from the power source, i.e. the production or technological process is forced to stop and dismantling and installation work is required. This paper reports a qualitative study of the acceptability of lighting control systems by 41 French office workers, in three sites with dimmable lighting, respectively with manual, semi-manual, and automatic control. The analysis of the results aimed to determine the characteristics of an ideal lighting control system. It appeared that the occupants found automatic continuous daylight-linked systems discreet, but they needed to be able to override them. The complexity of the remote control has led occupants to under-exploit it. Many occupants chose lower artificial light levels when daylight was bright, in order to benefit more from daylight. Automatic dimming with manual choice of illuminance level, optional task lighting, and user friendly control, may be the key elements of an ideal lighting control system.

In this work the replacement of the I&C connected with the four main pumps in a Polish research reactor called “Maria” is discussed. In particular, this paper focuses on the aspect of the whole system of pump parameters measurements (temperature, vibrations, power) and pump control system. The whole architecture of the I&C system (including power supply, redundancy of electrical and control system) will be showed. During the I&C replacement some problems arose, such as the change in the pump control system from analog to digital system; the link existing in the reactor part of the measurement made in analogue to a digital system, as part of the measurements, which were carried out in an old control system; the code for the PLC controller program dedicated exclusively to the requirements of control systems pumps. All of these problems will be discussed here, together with the proposed solutions. Moreover, I&C functional and operational tests carried out after the placement of the pumps will be described, such as loss of power and failure of one PLC controller.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini  adalah merancang sistem kontrol lampu menggunakan remote untuk menyalakan dan memadamkan lampu, Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ruangan Direktur Akademi Ilmu Komputer (AIKOM) Ternate, Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Pustaka, Observasi, serta Rancangan Alat, Bahasa Pemrograman yang digunakan adalah Bahasa C, Perancangan alat terdiri dari pembuatan alat pengontol lampu dan komponen yang menunjang kerja sistem seperti Sistem pengontrol, Mikrokontroler ATMega 8535, relay, remote, dan lampu. Sistem control lampu yang dioperasikan dengan menggunakan remote control untuk menggerakkan relay sehingga lampu yang terhubung akan menyala dan padam. Feeding fish is the most important thing in raising fish, with regular feeding to fish the fish will be able to continue to breed, In general, the process of feeding still requires human resources that are still manual, so that it will be difficult and disrupt human activity itself, if the process carried out must spread the food in the aquarium when someone is not in place, Therefore, currently IOT (Internet of Thing) technology has been developed which can facilitate human activities with remote control systems. The process of feeding with a remote control system is done using android, so as to simplify and save someone's time in the process of feeding without having to be in place. The control system used is Arduino ESP8266 as a single board micro controller platform, so that the control device can function to connect the WI-FI network. The process of connecting an Arduino ESP8266 device with a smartphone is done using the broker as hosting, the broker used was MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport), MQTT is a protocol that runs on the TCP / IP stack and is designed specifically for machine to machine that does not have a specific address. MQTT broker's working system is to implement publish as data sender, subcribe as data recipient, and topic as hosting data broker.

Access monitoring and control system are a set of software and hardware for restricting and registering the entrance to a given territory through special passages. In addition, when used in modern sports facilities, these systems must have a high capacity. This is necessary for the safe movement and timely evacuation of a large number of visitors. Therefore, the reliable operation of access monitoring and control systems is the most important technical challenge. Electromagnetic interference can disrupt the functions of the control system. One of the reasons for system malfunctions can be electromagnetic interference on the power supply network. The article analyzes the sources of electromagnetic interference in the power supply network. Experimental studies of the functioning of the control system under the influence of nanosecond noise on the power supply network have been carried out. A simulation model is proposed and the results of modeling electromagnetic interference in the control system when exposed to electromagnetic pulses through the power supply network are presented. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
