Methods for evaluation the manufacturability of a vehicle in the field of production and operation based on an energy indicator, expert estimates and usage of a neural network are stated. By using the neural network method the manufacturability of a car in a complex and for individual units is considered. The preparation of the initial data at usage a neural network for predicting the manufacturability of a vehicle is shown; the training algorithm and the architecture for calculating the manufacturability of the main units are given. According to the calculation results, comparative data on the manufacturability vehicles of various brands are given.

The article shows the need to develop diagnostic methods for monitoring the quality of lubrication systems, which makes it possible to study the dynamic processes of contacting elements of the friction systems of instrument mechanisms, taking into account roughness parameters, the presence of local surface defects of elements and the bearing capacity of a lubricant. In the present article, a modern diagnostic model has been developed to control the quality of the processes of production and operation of friction systems of instrument assemblies. With the help of the developed model, it becomes possible to establish the relationship of diagnostic and design parameters of the mechanical system, as well as the appearance of possible local defects and lubricant state, which characterize the quality of friction systems used in many mechanical assemblies of the mechanisms of devices. The research results are shown in the form of nomograms to assess the defects of the elements of friction mechanisms of the mechanisms of the devices.

Greenhouse gases emission is an important element in the development of the automotive industry. The unceasing trend of reducing the negative impact of vehicles on the environment is a determinant of setting directions for the improvement of their production and operation. One of the solutions in this regard are low-emission vehicles. However, this area requires continuous research and analyses, the results of which are partially presented in this article. The aim of the study was to evaluate the CO2 emission from the selected types of vehicles as in traffic driving, measured based on the standardised type-approval tests. This method allows to easily reproduce the obtained results, reliably compare and also extend it with further tests in a completely independent manner. The CO2 emission in the production process of the vehicle and its fuel, was also evaluated. It was assumed (research hypothesis) that CO2 emission changes significantly with the development of production technology and the use of various vehicle power sources. Based on their own research, the authors also analysed the feasibility/reliability of the assumptions about the benefits associated with emissions, obtained by replacing the classic vehicle with the hydrogen one. They estimated the time and intensity of using a hydrogen-powered vehicle that guarantees a benefit in terms of CO2 emissions compared to a conventional vehicle.

Track guidance vehicle (RGV) is widely used in logistics warehousing and intelligent workshop, and its scheduling effectiveness will directly affect the production and operation efficiency of enterprises. In practical operation, central information system often lacks flexibility and timeliness. By contrast, mobile computing can balance the central information system and the distributed processing system, so that useful, accurate, and timely information can be provided to RGV. In order to optimize the RGV scheduling problem in uncertain environment, a genetic algorithm scheduling rule (GAM) using greedy algorithm as the genetic screening criterion is proposed in this paper. In the experiment, RGV scheduling of two-step processing in an intelligent workshop is selected as the research object. The experimental results show that the GAM model can carry out real-time dynamic programming, and the optimization efficiency is remarkable before a certain threshold.

This study was undertaken to investigate the perceived effects of Deming's management system on employee job satisfaction, productivity, quality and overall organizational effectiveness. Three published. validated instruments on organizational characteristics were used to gather data, and extensive, open-ended interviews were conducted with production and operation managers for each of the eight firms in the study. Survey and interview results bolster the claims of proponents of Deming's quality improvement ideas that these ideas improve employee perceptions of their own job satisfaction and organizational quality. Furthermore, the results show a positive impact of Deming's management system on employee perceptions of their own productivity and overall organizational effectiveness and industrial competitiveness.
