The diabetic retinopathy is the leading cause of blindness worldwide, so early detection of diabetic retinopathy is necessary to reduce eye-related diseases. The accurate identification of microaneurysms is crucial for the detection of diabetic retinopathy, because it appears as the first sign of the disease. In this study, a new model is proposed to detect microaneurysms from the retinal images for early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy. At first, the fundus images are collected from e-ophtha microaneurysms and DiaretDB1 datasets. Next, image pre-processing is accomplished using image normalization, low light image enhancement, gradient weighting and shade correction. The pre-processing methods significantly brighten the contrast of the fundus images for better visual quality and extract the hidden details of the dark conditions. In addition, Hessian based filter and Otsu threshold are used to extract the foreground objects like microaneurysms from the enhanced fundus images. At last, Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) is used to predict the correctness of segmented microaneurysms candidates. The experimental results have revealed that the proposed model enhanced the microaneurysms detection up to 0.06-0.30 f-score value compared to the other existing models local convergence index features and local features with k-nearest neighbor. In addition, the proposed model has achieved 85.72% and 86.16% of accuracy respectively on e-ophtha microaneurysms and DiaretDB1 datasets.

<p>Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a related malady with diabetes and primary driver of sightlessness in diabetic patients. Epidemiological overview categorizes DR among four significant reasons for sight impedance. DR is a microvascular entanglement in which meager retinal veins may blast, bringing about vision misfortune. In this condition veins in retina swells and may blast in severe extreme condition. Operative medication is timely discovery by steady screenings that is by emphasizing the determination of retinal images using appropriate image processing techniques such as, Preprocessing of retinal image, image segmentation using sobel edge detector, local features extraction like mean, standard deviation, variance, Entropy, histogram values and so on. For classification of retina, system uses K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier. By adopting this approach, The classification of normal and abnormal images of retina is easy and will reduce the number of reviews for the ophthalmologists. Developing a method to automate functionality of retinal examination helps doctor to identify patient’s condition on disease. So that they can medicate the disease accordingly.</p>

Abstract Since December 2019, the appearance of an outbreak of a novel coronavirus disease namely COVID-19 and which is previously known as 2019-nCoV. COVID-19 is a type of coronavirus that leads to the general destruction of respiratory systems and a severe respiratory symptom which are associated with highly Intensive Care Unit (ICU) admissions and death. Like any disease, the early diagnosis of coronavirus leads to limit its wide-spreading and increases the recovery rates of patients. The gold standard of COVID-19 detection is the real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) which has been used by the clinician to discover the presence or absence of this type of virus. The clinicians report that this technique has a low positive rate in the early stage of this disease. Based on this, the clinicians were forced to use another way to help in the early diagnosis of COVID-2019. So, the clinician's attention moved towards the medical imaging modalities especially the computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray chest images. Both modalities show that there is a change in the lungs in the case of COVID-19 that is different from any other type of pneumonic disease. Therefore, this research targeted toward employing different Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to propose a system for early detection of COVID-19 using chest X-ray images. These images are classified using different AI algorithms and a combination of them, then their performance was evaluated to recognize the best of them. These algorithms include a convolutional neural network (CNN), Softmax, support vector machine (SVM), Random Forest, and K nearest neighbor (KNN). Here CNN is into two scenarios, the first one to classify the X-ray images using a softmax classifier, and the second one to extract automated features from the images and pass these features to other classifiers (SVM, RFF, and KNN). According to the results, the performance of all classifiers is good and most of them record accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and precision of more than 98%.

Heart is one of the essential organs that assume a significant part in the human body. However, heart can also cause diseases that affect the death. World Health Organization (WHO) data from 2012 showed that all deaths from cardiovascular disease (vascular) 7.4 million (42.3%) were caused by heart disease. Increased cases of heart disease require a step as an early prevention and prevention efforts by making early diagnosis of heart disease. In this research will be done early diagnosis of heart disease by using data mining process in the form of classification. The algorithm used is K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm with Forward Selection method. The K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is used for classification in order to obtain a decision result from the diagnosis of heart disease, while the forward selection is used as a feature selection whose purpose is to increase the accuracy value. Forward selection works by removing some attributes that are irrelevant to the classification process. In this research the result of accuracy of heart disease diagnosis with K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm is 73,44%, while result of K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm accuracy with feature selection method 78,66%. It is clear that the incorporation of the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm with the forward selection method has improved the accuracy result. Keywords - K-Nearest Neighbor, Classification, Heart Disease, Forward Selection, Data Mining

Late detection of depression is having detrimental consequences including suicide thus there is a serious need for an accurate computer-aided system for early diagnosis of depression. In this research, we suggested a novel strategy for the diagnosis of depression based on several geometric features derived from the Electroencephalography (EEG) signal shape of the second-order differential plot (SODP). First, various geometrical features of normal and depression EEG signals were derived from SODP including standard descriptors, a summation of the angles between consecutive vectors, a summation of distances to coordinate, a summation of the triangle area using three successive points, a summation of the shortest distance from each point relative to the 45-degree line, a summation of the centroids to centroid distance of successive triangles, central tendency measure and summation of successive vector lengths. Second, Binary Particle Swarm Optimization was utilized for the selection of suitable features. At last, the features were fed to support vector machine and k-nearest neighbor (KNN) classifiers for the identification of normal and depressed signals. The performance of the proposed framework was evaluated by the recorded bipolar EEG signals from 22 normal and 22 depressed subjects. The results provide an average classification accuracy of 98.79% with the KNN classifier using city-block distance in a ten-fold cross-validation strategy. The proposed system is accurate and can be used for the early diagnosis of depression. We showed that the proposed geometrical features are better than extracted features in the time, frequency, time-frequency domains as it helps in visual inspection and provide up to 17.56% improvement in classification accuracy in contrast to those features.

Heart sounds are important data that reflect the state of the heart. It is possible to prevent larger problems that may occur with early diagnosis of abnormalities in heart sounds. Therefore, in this study, the detection of abnormalities in heart sounds has been studied. In order to detect abnormalities in heart sounds, the heartbeat-sounds data set obtained free of charge from the kaggle.com website was examined. Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) were used in the selection of the characteristics of the sounds. Parameters such as the number of filters to be applied for MFCCs, the number of attributes to be extracted are examined separately with different values. The classification performance of heart sounds with feature matrices extracted in different parameters of MFCCs with K-nearest neighbor algorithm was investigated. The classification performance of different feature extractions was compared and the best case was tried to be determined. Two different records that make up the data set were examined separately as normal and abnormal. Then, the new data set obtained by combining the two records was examined as normal and abnormal.

In Science and Technology Development BCI plays a vital role in the field of Research. Classification is a data mining technique used to predict group membership for data instances. Analyses of BCI data are challenging because feature extraction and classification of these data are more difficult as compared with those applied to raw data. In this paper, We extracted features using statistical Haralick features from the raw EEG data . Then the features are Normalized, Binning is used to improve the accuracy of the predictive models by reducing noise and eliminate some irrelevant attributes and then the classification is performed using different classification techniques such as Naïve Bayes, k-nearest neighbor classifier, SVM classifier using BCI dataset. Finally we propose the SVM classification algorithm for the BCI data set.

Population Data is individual data or aggregate data that is structured as a result of Population Registration and Civil Registration activities. Birth Certificate is a Civil Registration Deed as a result of recording the birth event of a baby whose birth is reported to be registered on the Family Card and given a Population Identification Number (NIK) as a basis for obtaining other community services. From the total number of integrated birth certificate reporting for the 2018 Population Administration Information System (SIAK) totaling 570,637 there were 503,946 reported late and only 66,691 were reported publicly. Clustering is a method used to classify data that is similar to others in one group or similar data to other groups. K-Nearest Neighbor is a method for classifying objects based on learning data that is the closest distance to the test data. k-means is a method used to divide a number of objects into groups based on existing categories by looking at the midpoint. In data mining preprocesses, data is cleaned by filling in the blank data with the most dominating data, and selecting attributes using the information gain method. Based on the k-nearest neighbor method to predict delays in reporting and the k-means method to classify priority areas of service with 10,000 birth certificate data on birth certificates in 2019 that have good enough performance to produce predictions with an accuracy of 74.00% and with K = 2 on k-means produces a index davies bouldin of 1,179.
