Lesbianidade(s). Escola. Diálogo. Lesbofeminismo.Obscure Things: representations of high school girls about lesbianity(s)AbstractThe present study aimed to interrogate and understand the representations about the lesbianity (ies) produced by students of an agricultural school in the southern region of Rio Grande do Sul state. The research, guided by the Lesbofeminist Cultural Studies, produced its data through "circles of conversation" supplemented by notes of the "field diary". From the analysis of the data, we can point out that the students have conceptual visions and understandings about the lesbian(s) and that they already have a critical position regarding the way in which the woman is portrayed in society. However, the theme of "lesbianity (ies)" - not unlike the way other women are represented in school - is crossed by the invisibility at school space and, when visible, is anchored in representations mediated only by violence.Lesbianity (s).School. Abstract This article aimed to discuss how Pierre Bourdieu’s concept of reflexivity was conceived, and how it influenced and was developed by Bernard Lahire’s in his sociology. To operationalize the way the concept is articulated, but emphasizing its development by Lahire, this paper presents as an empirical case how reflexivity was engendered in José Francisco Bernardes Milanez’ biographical trajectory, a historical environmental activist from the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The central argument we defend is that the Bourdieusian-inspired concept of reflexivity has a certain objectivist and structuralist weight, which gives a secondary role to individuals’ reflection capacity and agency. Despite this weight, reflexivity acts as a mediator between structures and their individual agency within actors’ social lives. In this sense, reflexive capacities can be better understood and analyzed by considering the ways individuals connect their daily practices, dialectically and concomitantly, with reflexive processes. This article emphasizes that sociological analyses at the individual level can be potentially more substantive if they consider structure, agency, and reflexivity in an integrated way. Finally, we argue that the conceptual and argumentative association of elements from the two authors helps to avoid false antinomies.

This is an exploratory, descriptive study with a quantitative approach and the aim to identify the perception of fathers regarding their children's needs; strategies used by fathers to get closer to their children as well as to analyze the influence of household chores and children's education in their fathers' lives. Study subjects were 92 men with six-year-old children, residing in the city of Rio Grande, state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The results revealed fathers who are more engaged in activities with their children, valuing confidence, safety, as well as proximity to family as children's main needs, having prioritized the progress children make as well as attention to listening and conversation. Children's education does not aggregate more problems than they imagined, managing to plan life the way they seek to. These findings show that, in the sample studied, fathers have been able to develop more affectionate actions aimed at being more involved with their children.

All the experiences suggested that the best sequence in this kind of training, using this technology and instructional materials, must follow separetes and independent stops: 1 – teaching methodology; 2 – statistics; 3 – principles and technics in educational research. Another conclusion was that if the schools can get the instructional materials they would became multiplications centers of such trainings using their own human resources which can adapt the instructional materials to their own characteristics and condictions.

The aim of this study was to analyse the presence of histological infiltrations of neoplastic cells within the bone, and compare the distance of these infiltrations with the radiografic limits of the ameloblastoma. For this purpose, six integral surgical samples, with identifiable radiographic limits of the tumor, sent to the Pathology Service of Dental School of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, were processed. From the results obtained, can be concluded that, although ameloblastoma presents well-defined radiographic limits, it is infiltrative from the histological view point. Infiltrations occurs at few and distinctive sites, varying in this study from 0.10 cm to 1.40 cm, related to the radiographic borders of the neoplasm.
