Problems related to the quality of education have long become a concern of all educational stakeholders. The stakeholders of the quality of education have thought about how to improve the quality of education in various ways. One of the efforts is by using educational technology. The educational technology can help to solve learning problems. Systemic process can be understood in twosenses:irregularorregularthatreferstoasystem.Asaregular system, the educational technology is the process that is preceded by studying the needs, formulating the objectives, identifying the possible achievement of goals, determining the possibility of selection criteria, selecting the best possibility, developing and testing the chosen possibility, carrying out developmentresults, and evaluating the overall activities and results. As a product, the educationaltechnologycanbeunderstoodastheprocesses,which arecomplexandintegratedthatinvolvepeople,procedures,ideas, tools, and organizations to analyze problems, find ways to solve problems,implement, assess, andmanagethesolutionsthat cover all aspects of human learning. The educational technology was born from the problems in education. It not only helps to solve the problems of learning in the school, but in the whole contexts of people’s lives by developing and/or using a variety of sources. In the context of school, the technology of education evolves from what was originally known as didactic and methodical. However, because learning is not only in the context of school, but in the whole contexts of the community, the educational technology operates in which learning is required, either by individuals, groups or organizations. Keywords : education, technology of education, and the quality of education. Permasalahan terkait mutu pendidikan telah sejak lama menjadi konsen bersama seluruh stake holder pendidikan. Seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan terhadap mutu pendidikan memikirkan mengenai bagaimana meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan berbagai cara. Salah satu upaya yang ditempuh adalahdengan menggunakan teknologi pendidikan. Teknologi pendidikan dapat membantu memecahkan masalahmasalah pembelajaran. Proses sistemik dapat dipahami dalam dua pengertian; beraturan atau mengacu pada suatu sistem. Sebagai sistem yang beraturan, teknologi pendidikan adalah proses yang didahului dengan telaah kebutuhan, perumusan tujuan, identifikasi kemungkinan pencapaian tujuan, penentuan kriteria pemilihan kemungkinan, memilih kemungkinan terbaik, mengembangkan dan mengujicoba kemungkinan yang dipilih, melaksanakan hasil pengembangan, dan mengevaluasi keseluruhan kegiatan maupun hasilnya. Sebagai produk, teknologi pendidikan bisa dipahami sebagai perangkat proses, yang bersifat kompleks dan terpadu melibatkan orang, prosedur, ide, peralatan, dan organisasi untuk menganalisis masalah, mencari jalan untuk mengatasi permasalahan, melaksanakan, menilai, dan mengelola pemecahan masalah tersebut yang mencakup semua aspek belajar manusia. Teknologi pendidikan lahir dari adanya permasalahan dalam pendidikan. Teknologi pendidikan tidak hanya membantu memecahkan masalah belajar dalam konteks sekolah, namun dalam seluruh konteks kehidupan masyarakat, dengan mengembangkan dan/atau menggunakan beraneka sumber. Dalam konteks sekolah teknologi pendidikan berkembang dari apa yang semula dikenal dengan istilah didaktik dan metodik. Namun karena belajar tidak hanya dalam konteks sekolah, tetapi dalam seluruh konteks masyarakat, maka teknologi pendidikan beroperasi di mana belajar itu diperlukan, baik oleh perorangan, kelompok maupun organisasi. Educational facilities are one of the supports in improving the quality of education. One of the educational facilities deemed necessary to support education is a laboratory and one of the disciplines that requires a laboratory to support learning is Islamic Economics. The urgency of the laboratory as a means of learning is widely recognized by educational stakeholders, through regulations that have been made by many educational institutions competing to create and develop laboratories, in addition to supporting learning and facilities for students, another reason is that regulations require educational institutions to be have a laboratory. This study aims to analyze the role and influence of the laboratory of the Islamic economics study program on student interest in the Islamic economics study program. This study uses a quantitative method with data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 277 students of Islamic Economics study program. The collected data were then analyzed using linear regression method with SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that laboratory facilities have a positive and significant effect on student interest in learning. This shows that if the laboratory facilities are improved, student interest in learning will increase.

<p>The study aimed to evaluate certified teachers performance in Temanggung regency district of Gugus Mangga. This study was evalitative research using qualitative dessciptive approach. Subject of this research are teachers, principals and supervisors. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that performance of certified teachers in planning aspect of learning and evaluation is in good category. While the performance of certified teachers in presentation and capacity building is in the less than good category. The recommendation given for teachers in preparing <em>lesson plan </em>(RPP) should included aspect of communication and information technologies and also followed by the development of activities. Recommendation for schools is organizing textbooks procurement so that students can have a good process of learning. Recommendation for regional government is to provide assistance of textbooks procurement for schools which has not enough textbook. Besides that the education office recommended to make self-development program for teachers in order to develop and improve the quality of education.</p>

The study aims to analyze about the low graduation and certification exam training participants of the procurement of goods / services of the government and its contributing factors, and formulate a strategy of education and training and skills certification exams procurement of goods / services of the government. Collecting data using the method of study documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. Is the official source of information on the structural and functional Regional Employment Board, as well as the participants of the training and skills certification exams procurement of goods / services of the government in Magelang regency government environment. Analysis using 4 quadrant SWOT analysis, to determine the issue or strategic factors in improving the quality of education and training and skills certification exams procurement of government goods / services within the Government of Magelang regency. The results show organizer position is in quadrant I, which is supporting the growth strategy, with 3 alternative formulation strategies that improve the quality of education and training and skills certification exams procurement of government goods / services, and conducts certification examination of the procurement of government goods / services with computer assisted test system (CAT). Based on the research recommendations formulated advice to the organizing committee, namely: of prospective participants of the training and skills certification exams procurement of goods / services the government should consider the motivation of civil servants, is examinees who have attended training in the same period of the year, the need for simulation procurement of goods / services significantly, an additional allocation of training time, giving sanction to civil servants who have not passed the exam, the provision of adequate classroom space with the number of participants of each class are proportional, as well as explore the evaluation of education and training and skills certification exams procurement of goods / services for Government of participants.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

The purpose are (1) to know the school committee to improve the quality of education at SMP Al-Khairaat Kalumpang Ternate; ( 2 ) to know the work achievement of school committee to improve the education quality  at SMP Al-Khairaat Kalumpang Ternate.The approaches used in this research is a qualitative approach.Research result indicates that ( 1 ) a school committee at SMP Al-Khairaat Kalumpang Ternate has formed by 2012 in accordance with the decree no. 325 / B-III / SMP.BP. Alkh / 11 / 2010 and has the school committee structure, namely; chief; secretaries, and the treasury; ( 2 ) the school committee meeting periodically, that is four times in a year. Involved in the talks is the principal, the teacher, student parents, Al-Khairaat foundation and the school committee. Things had been spoken in the meeting are; the school fee, standards graduation, the school programs plan ; ( 3 ) the school committee does not make a written report yet orally. This is a form of violations Kepmendiknas number 044 / u / 2002 about the school committee.( 4 ) the school committee ' s active, this could influence the development of education at SMP Al-Khairaat Kalumpang Tenate.It is a part breach Kepmendiknas number 044 / u / 2002 about the school committee. The keywords:  performance, the quality, the school committee

Online classroom management is an innovation in the overall educational process. Its main characteristics - pedagogical communication, digital methodology and quality of learning in the online environment are the main semantic pillars on which this article is built. Empirical results from a teacher survey are presented. Their professional reflection outlines three research profiles: personal professional, pedagogical-methodological, competence-reflexive. In the pedagogical analysis of these profiles a number of conclusions are formed for the management of the online classroom in the process of distance learning. They are related to issues such as basic methodological skills, digital skills of teachers; quality of education, continuing qualification and others. The question is to develop a digital methodology for more successful management of the online classroom in the process of distance learning.

The article is about arts education in Canadian schools, used as a tool for the development of students’ key competences. It is proven that arts education fulfils a lot of functions (develops individual capabilities, provides right to education and cultural participation, improves quality of education and the expression of cultural diversity) and has various benefits (intrinsic and extrinsic) for people. It contributes to overall development of students (moral, physical, cognitive, emotional etc.), enhances their motivation and academic success. The article shows that arts education is a powerful tool for developing Essential Graduation Learning- some of the key competences for school graduates: aesthetic expression, citizenship, communication, personal development, problem solving, technological competence, spiritual/moral development.
