The social media perception affecting the business of PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) aims for three purposes. Firstly, to study customers’ behavior via social media’s perception. Secondly, to study interaction between social media and customers. Finally, to study the impact of any information channels via social media that affects to user of products, related services, and company’s images. Social media has been played a vital role rapidly in communication and transferring a huge of information in the manner of videos and contents widespread, which persuade many companies to promote their company via social media to acquire customers’ attentions even related services including the public relation for the company’s image. PTT has adjusted to a new era of social media comply with organizational communication plan. However, social media has affects both positive and negative impact at the same time. The company is rumored a negative issue in society and triggered by social media such as FB’s page “Pay back PTT” is a web page for whom anti PTT. The company must handle these impact of negative information that can transfer to the customer of company in term of goods and service or any attitude that affect to company’s image after receiving any information that derived from social media. Therefore, it is necessary to manage social media contents to create two ways of understanding about any issues and also prevent social media disaster from company’s communication in term of attitude, image and decision making process to consume goods and service. This study is to provide recommended policy for PTT to improve their communication process and enhance trust for customer and investor in the future.

: Nanobionics involves the improvement of plant or plant productivity using nanomaterials. Growth of a plant from a seed encompasses various factors which are directly or indirectly dependent upon the imbibition of micro and macro nutrients and vital elements from the soil. Since most of the nutrition is physiologically unavailable to the plants, it leads to mineral deficiencies in plant and mineral toxicity in soil. Either ways, it is not a favourable situation for the microcosom. The new era of nanotechnology offers a potential solution to the availability of the nutrients to the plants due to its unique chemical and physical properties of nanoparticles. Positive and negative impact of these nanoparticles on seed quality and plant growth varies according to the specific properties of nanoparticles. The present review is an attempt to summarize the impact of nanobionics in agriculture.

Dramas have played a vital role in terms of building stereotypical images of the roles different individuals have in society. These stereotypes often have a direct impact on society as individuals see through these images while deciding the good and bad of the society. In a recent development, Turkish dramas have gained huge popularity as an alternative medium of entrainment in Pakistan. However, very few studies have focused on the impact of Turkish dramas on Pakistani youth. The current study aims to bridge that gap. The study is quantitative in nature. The results reveal that the contents in those dramas are not Islamic; instead, they are based on Western culture. Moreover, these western cultural values are creating a negative impact on the youth of Punjab. Considering the imagery shown in Turkish Dramas as 'Islamic', the youth seem to be more influenced by these contents compared to other drama industries.

Family is an important institution to build a person's personality, morality, value and attitude. When this institution communicates properly, it shows the impact e.g. a boy or a girl becomes social human being. Unfortunately in our family gender biasness is reinforced continuously by starting to behave differently with boys and girls from the childhood. Parents communicate with them in a different way which constructs the traits of “masculinity” and “femininity”. Girls are compelled to learn the feminine role with politeness, submissiveness and their mobility is restricted in public world. It is a family which trains a girl to be a good mother, wife, sister or daughter, on the other hand a boy learns to be social, intellectual, able to run the world and strong. This different formation of role and behavior results in the ongoing discrimination everywhere in the society. This reinforcement is sort of relief from social stigmatization but has overall negative impact on life and through this family can be counted as the main birthplace of discrimination against women. Girls and boys must be raised neutrally to eradicate the gender differences and ensure the equality.

Chapter 8 discusses the impact of digital media on collective memory. The chapter examines both the positive and negative impact of digital and social media. On the one hand, the analysis notes how digital media provided the channels for memory mobilization and the archives for memory transmission. On the other hand, the analysis examines the problematics of memory balkanization. It explicates how political forces have shaped the development of digital and social media in Hong Kong and how competing representations of the Tiananmen Incident and commemoration activities are articulated and reinforced within distinctive memory silos.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of mobile social media functions on explicit and implicit knowledge sharing under the “Guanxi” system based on the framework of stimulus–organism–response (SOR). Design/methodology/approach Combined with Guanxi theory, this paper designs an experiment to collect data from the new product development (NPD) teams. Findings Interestingly, the results show that the effect of social media communication function on employees is greater than the impact of collaboration on employees. Specifically, on the one hand, the more employees communicate in social media, the better their feelings will be, the less they will share knowledge. On the other hand, the collaboration function has a significantly negative impact on the psychological factors of employees. Excessively close cooperation and contact may instead create a contradiction between the employees, which is not conducive to the occurrence of knowledge sharing. Originality/value This paper extends SOR framework by combining Guanxi theory to examine the relationship between social media functions and knowledge sharing behavior (KSB). In practical, companies should pay attention to the frequency of employee using social media when it is introduced for NPD teams to control the negative influence of social media functions on employee KSB.

The massive use of social media, especially Facebook, has an impact on student’s neurocognitive performance and mental health in Morocco. The purpose of this study is to show the impact of the Facebook addiction, especially with Smartphone on school performance and mental health. On the methodological part a questionnaire was used beside the Bergan Facebook Addiction Scale Test (BFAS) which has been validated in the Arab version with Cronbach's Alpha (α = 0.788), and the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) Arabic version, with a general anxiety test, which are distributed to 541 participants in the middle and the high schools of Kenitra city 55.1% of girls and 44.9% of boys have a mean age of 15.238 years, SD = ± 0.06. The results obtained confirmed by a negative correlation in relationship with the first semester general score and Facebook addiction by the BFAS test, and a significant relationship between the increase in Facebook addiction in parallel with the state of anxiety (P <.001) and Nomophobia (P <.000). We have been able to pick up the negative impact of the social media exposure on the performance and mental health of adolescent students. in order to have a solution from this plague in the future.

In order to solve the security problem of the multimedia in the communication process, steganography plays a vital role. In this paper, the DCT domain of digital image steganography is to study the impact of image quality with different embedding positions, the secret information in the DCT domain of an image, different carrier images and the amount of information. Studies show that: embedding the information in the low frequency part of the image, selecting the image with the rich distribution pixel value, is conducive to improve the steganography effects of the information in the image, enhance the concealment of the secret information.

This study tries to find answers to the application of social media as a new form of culture in learning. SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang which is the object of research has characteristics that are in line with the research theme. SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang has implemented social media in the last few years. In the results of this study found many interesting things that can be said as a form of habit which in social language is called culture. In addition, the impact of this new learning culture is very positive. This means it is different from the previous community's understanding that social media must be kept away from children because it can interfere with learning. From the application of social media for learning, SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang can encourage students to be creative, innovative and able to adapt critically to the negative effects of social media. Although there are some notes that need attention or just tips and tricks from teachers or teachers to avoid the negative impact of social media.

The human species is in great danger of extinction due to the novel coronavirus that was first detected in China around December 2019. By March 2021, the world had witnessed over 116million cases, of which 36,223 are Zimbabwean. The disease that the coronavirus stimulates is quite fatal and has seen 2.57million lives succumbing to it, of which 1483 are Zimbabwean, by the same date. No cure has been discovered for it yet, though scientific researchers have already discovered several vaccines with varying efficacies. Employing a socio-pragmatic approach, the chapter explores the impact of fake covid-19 social media communications on efforts to minimize infections and fatalities in Zimbabwe, an already endangered country. It accomplishes this by qualitatively analyzing purposively sampled fake communications in circulation on social media as well as some of the utterances and behaviors people make in response to them. The chapter demonstrates the negative impact of the communications on international mitigating efforts and emphasizes the need for the government, media practitioners and social workers to always be watchful for such misleading communications and in every case to quickly counter their impact by availing correct information to the people.
