The phosphate industry is one of the biggest polluters of the environment with uranium. Different products are derived after processing phosphoric ore, such as mineral and phosphate fertilizers and phosphate mineral supplements (dicalcium-and monocalcium phosphate) for animal feeding. Phosphate mineral additives used in animal food may contain a high activity of uranium. Research in this study should provide an answer to the extent in which phosphate mineral products (phosphate fertilizer and phosphate mineral feed additives) contribute to the contamination of soil, plants and animals.

Animals imported to Yakutia from other regions fall into feeding and housing conditions that differ from their usual agro-climatic conditions, which causes the problem of their adaptation. Yakutia is one of the areas where the feed of its own production has a lack of basic minerals, which affects the health and productivity of animals, which has an additional negative influence on the adaptation process of imported cattle. In order to replenish macro- and microelements in the body, it is necessary to introduce various local mineral feed additives, premixes, and use mineral salts into the ration. Under the conditions of Central Yakutia the influence of local mineral feed additives (zeolite of the Khonguruu Deposit in the Suntar district and sapropels of local lakes) containing macro- and microelements that increase the meat productivity of steers has been studied. As a result of the research the influence of local mineral feed additives on meat productivity and physiological condition of Hereford steers has been established. Influence of zeolite and sapropel in a complex with mineral salts on digestibility of nutrients of the ration and use of nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus by experimental animals has been defined. The influence of feed additives on the quality of meat products has been studied. The results have shown that the use of local mineral feed additives in the composition of ration of steers during the fattening period at a dose of 0,7 g zeolite per 1 kg of live weight of the animal and 200 g of sapropel in combination with 10 g of mineral salts contributed to the gain in live weight, carcass weight, carcass yield, yield of edible parts, and economic efficiency of fattening. For the entire period of the experiment the gain in live weight in groups was: in control group 2222,9 kg, in the 1st experimental group 2396,2 kg, in the 2nd experimental group 2471,1 kg. The total economic effect for the 1st experimental group for the period of experiment amounted to 44,3 thousand Rubles, for the 2nd experimental group 78,0 thousand Rubles or per 1 head/day 14,06 and 24,76 Rubles, respectively.

In the context of the organization of proper nutrition of the population of Russia, regardless of belonging to any physiological group, taking into account the eating behavior of a modern person, the research has been carried out to expand the range of fish pastes by modifying their recipes. The goal has been achieved by combining raw materials of different origins and reducing the mass fraction of table salt. Experimental studies were carried out to substantiate the recipe compositions of pastes based on grass carp meat, the optimal proportion of calcium-phosphate mineral supplements was defined, a comparative analysis of organoleptic indicators of quality, chemical composition and energy value of the obtained products was conducted. It has been stated that the introduction of 2.5% of phosphate-calcium food additives into paste recipes No. 4 and 5 did not adversely affect the organoleptic quality indicators. The pastes produced according to recipes No. 4 and No. 5, which include grass carp meat (48%), chicken liver (10%), vegetable components (17%), calcium-phosphate mineral supplement (2,5%) and flavoring substances, can be recommended for mass nutrition of the population of Russia. The ratio of these components provides the high organoleptic properties and improved nutritional value. The inclusion of fish pastes enriched with vegetable components, chicken by-products, phosphate-calcium mineral supplements, differing in chemical composition, in the diet allows balancing the diet for proteins, fats, amino acids, vitamins, macro- and micronutrients and preventing from eating disorders and, in the result, reducing morbidity of population in the Russian Federation.

Inceptisol is a young and newly developed soil so it needs to be optimized for crop cultivation. The aim of this research is to know the availability of soil P, P uptake and corn yield after application of granular composting of sago waste (KGES) together with phosphate fertilizer to Inceptisols soil. The experimental treatment was KGES which consisted of three levels: without KGES, 40 tons KGES ha-1, and 80 tons KGES ha-1, and the use of SP-36 (P) fertilizer consisting of three levels: without P fertilizer, 120 kg P ha-1, and 240 kg P ha-1. The experiment used a complete randomized design with 3 replications. The result of the experiment was analyzed variance and relationship test using interlaced analysis. The results showed that KGES together with phosphate fertilizers could increase soil pH causing phosphate to be available and plant roots could absorb nutrient phosphate well, so that the yield of corn kiln dry weight also increased. The highest yield of dry weight of grains (7.85 tons per ha) was obtained from a combination of 80 tons of KGES ha-1 and 240 kg P ha-1.Keyword: Keywords: Ella Sago, Inseptisols, maize, phosphate

For commercial soybean production, the presence of phosphorus in the soil is essential, not only to increase productivity but also because it affects basic functions in plant metabolism. Phosphate fertilizers have low efficiency in Cerrado soils. For this reason, the use of technologies associated with phosphate fertilizers is important to increase their efficiency in the soil. The experiment was conducted at Fazenda Rio Brilhante in Coromandel, MG. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design in a 4 × 4 + 1 factorial arrangement. Treatments consisted of four phosphate fertilizer sources (MAPCONVENCIONAL, MAPpol 1, MAPpol 2, and FOM), four P2O5 doses (40, 80, 120, and 160 kg ha-1), and the control treatment (no phosphorus application). The soybean cultivar RK8115 IPRO with a plant population of 340 thousand plants per hectare was used. The experimental plots consisted of five planting lines with a spacing of 0.5 meters and a length of 7 meters. In the experiment, phosphorus leaf, morphological evaluation of plant height, stem diameter, number of stems, and pods were measured. For plant biomass, the dry matter of leaves, stems, and pods were determined. For yield evaluation, the calculation of productivity and RAE was compared with MAPCONVENCIONAL. For sources, data were subjected to analysis of variance, and means were separated by Tukey’s rate test (p < 0.05). For P2O5 doses, regression model fitting was performed using the ExpDes.pt package of R Studio software. Morphological assessments responded linearly to P doses, except for DPM. Leaves and pods P content and yield were affected by P dosage and P sources, with a quadratic response to P dosage. Maximum yield efficiency was achieved at P2O5 doses of 122.73; 145.07; 112.03; and 94.71 kg ha-1, with yields of 3818.30; 4064.67; 4089.03; and 3952.63 kg ha-1 for MAPCONVENCIONAL, MAPpol 2, MAPpol 1, and FOM, respectively. However, MAPpol 1 and FOM provided a dose reduction of 26 and 15 compared to the maximum yield of MAPCONVENCIONAL, respectively.

Various sources of phosphate were applied to cigar-filler tobacco grown on an acid Mabí clay. The results were as follows: 1. Highest yields of cured tobacco were obtained from the application of calcium metaphosphate with the powder significantly outyielding the granular form. 2. All phosphate sources used, with the exception of simple and concentrated superphosphate, gave significantly higher yields of tobacco than the no-phosphate treatment. 3. Calcium and ammonium metaphosphate treatments significantly outyielded simple superphosphate in tobacco per acre. 4. Considering the price of tobacco received per acre, calcium metaphosphate powder gave the highest returns, but the granular form failed to give a significant price return over the no-phosphate treatment. 5. Dicalcium phosphate and potassium-calcium pyrophosphate, along with calcium metaphosphate powder, were the only sources which gave significant increases in price of tobacco per acre over the no-phosphate treatment. 6. The importance of the particle size of calcium metaphosphate on yields of tobacco was discussed. 7. A highly significant linear correlation was established between the percentage P2O5 availability of the phosphate fertilizer and yields of tobacco per acre.
