Institutions can use customer satisfaction to build loyalty and success in educational institutions so that teachers can evaluate how the institution is operated. This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on vocational high school teachers' Narimo ing Pandum attitudes and analyze factor of teacher job satisfaction and Narimo ing Pandum attitudes. This study used mixed-method research. This study was attended by 100 vocational high school teachers majoring in office administration from nine state vocational high schools in the Solo Raya area, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by interview and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis was conducted with simple linear regression analysis test and interactive analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion). This study’s findings revealed that there was a significant effect of job satisfaction on the vocational high school teachers' Narimo ing Pandum attitudes. The highest factor of teacher job satisfaction was coworker support (20.27%), and the lowest factor was the work itself (13.77%). Meanwhile, the highest percentage of the Narimo ing Pandum attitude was honest and sincere (22.28%), and the lowest percentage was gratitude (13.17%). These findings contribute that school principals need to pay serious attention to job satisfaction and Narimo ing Pandum attitudes by optimizing what teachers need in teaching. It is hoped that the teacher can apply the principles of the Narimo ing Pandum attitude.

Teacher as a professional educator should has the academic qualification. Academic qualification required for a teacher is he or she at least should be educated of bachelor degree or diploma four.</p> <p>Fundamentaly, teacher performance is determined by the expertise and ability of teacher concerned. These achievement factor is so thick and so critical in its relation to competence, compensation, and also job satisfaction that may become the obstacle in the enhancement of teacher performance.</p> <p>Population in this research was the teachers of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya, amounted to 317, educated in bachelor degree or diploma four, had have service of minimal 5 years. Data analysis used the simple random sampling, structural equation model (SEM) analysis, by the assistance of PLS 2 software, conducted on 92 respondents and able to explain the effect of competence and compensation on the job satisfaction and the performance of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya.</p> <p>The results of research indicated that: Competence and compensation significantly influential on teacher job satisfaction;  Competence and compensation significantly influential on teacher performance; Teacher Job satisfaction signifiacntly influential on the performance of the State Vocational High School Teachers in Surabaya.</p> <p>The largest effect of the three variables hipothesized on teacher performance in this research was the direct relatedness between compensation and teacher performance.</p> <p> </p> Key Words: competence, compensation, teacher job satisfaction, teacher performance

The authors of this study sought to examine the job satisfaction and motivational level of high school teachers regarding the Hygiene and Motivator factors as identified by Herzberg and to find out the effect of fulfillment of Hygiene and Motivator factors on motivation of high school teachers. A questionnaire titled the quantitative data from Lester’s (1987) TJSQ assessment of teacher job satisfaction and Hoy et al. ’s (1991) OCDQ-RS assessment of school climate were used to collect data for the study. While the data for the study was analyzed using multiple statistical procedures: mean point value, standard deviation, and variance, t-test of significance and One-way-analysis of variance (ANOVA). A paper survey has been distributed to 198 respondents who are all actively involved in high school teaching in Isparta, Turkey. However, Frederick Herzberg's theory which states that what he terms hygiene (job context) factors contribute to dissatisfaction while motivator (job content) factors relate to satisfaction, the study indicates that both hygiene factors and motivation factors contribute to satisfaction and especially, hygiene factors were more satisfying factors in the high school teachers group.

PERFORMANCE OF HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER, REGIONAL ALLOWANCES AND JOB SATISFACTION Abstract. This research aims to know the influence of work allowances personality, and job satisfaction toward performance high school teacher, both directly and indirectly. Path analusis is used for this, samples were selected at random as many as 100 teachers are civil servants. The results of the analysis are as follows: 1) There is a direct influence of work allowances towards the work performance of high school teacher; 2) There is a direct influence of work allowances towards job satisfaction 3) There is a direct influence of job satisfaction towards job performances of high school teachers; and 4) There is an indirect influence of work allowances in regional scale towards job performances of high school teachersthrough high school teacher job satisfaction. The low students’ final exam grades, low attendance of the teachers, and unsatisfactory results of teachers’ performance assessment are some indicators of teachers’ low performance. On the bases of these phenomena, this article discusses results of explanatory survey research investigating the effects of job satisfaction on the performance of 25 certified state vocational high school teachers. Using sets of questionnaire as the instruments of data collection and simple regression in data analysis, the research has found that job satisfaction has positively and significantly affected the performance of certified teachers. The study indicates the needs for the principals to elevate quality performance of the teachers by improving the regulations concerning the teachers’ discipline and designing activities which intend to increase the teachers’ social competences.ABSTRAKRendahnya nilai ujian akhir sekolah siswa, tingkat kehadiran guru dan hasil penilaian kinerja guru adalah beberapa indikator yang menunjukkan rendahnya kinerja guru. Dengan dilatarbelakangi fenomena tersebut artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian eksplanatory survey yang ditujukkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja 52 orang guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri yang telah tersertifikasi. Dengan menggunakan quesioner sebagai instrument pengumpulan data, yang dianalisa dengan teknik analisis regresi sederhana, analisa data menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru yang telah tersertifikasi. Untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja guru, pimpinan sekolah harus memperbaiki aturan sekaitan dengan kedisiplinan guru dan merancang kegiatan yang ditujukkan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sosial para guru.

The research purpose was determined the effect of intellectual ability, discipline, supervision, and motivation on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in the Surakarta City. The research type is explanatory research. The research population are teachers of Vocational High School in Surakarta City. Sampling technique was used purposive sampling technique. Technique of data collection was used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were used statistical analysis including of multiple linear tests, F-test, and t-test. The research results showed that 1) intellectual ability, discipline, supervision, and work motivation are simultaneously have a significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 2) Intellectual abilities has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 3) Discipline has a significant effect on vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in the Surakarta city. 4) Work motivation has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta City. 5) Supervision has significant effect on the vocational high school teachers’ professionalism in Surakarta.
