The research aimed to obtain an explanatory findings were tested on the effect of (1) work motivation and work discipline influencing employee performance, (2) work motivation influences work discipline, (3) work motivation influences employee performance, and (4) work discipline on employee performance. The subjects in this study were all employees of Koperasi Serba Usaha Tunas Mertha Mandirii Singaraja and the object of this research were work motivation, work discipline and employee performance. The population in this study were all employees of 39 people. This research includes population research because all employees are used as observation units. Data were collected by questionnaire method, then analyzed by path analysis. The findings of this study show that (1) work motivation and work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance, (2) work motivation has a positive effect on work discipline, (3) work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, and (4) work discipline has a positive effect on the performance of Koperasi Serba Usaha Tunas Mertha Mandiri Singaraja.

This study aims to examine the effect of (1) work environment and discipline on employee performance, (2) work environment on work discipline, (3) work environment on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on employee performance on CV Puspa. The research design used in this study is causal quantitative. The subjects of this research are employees at CV Puspa and the object is the work environment, work discipline and employee performance. The population in this research is 76 Puspa employees. All populations are made as observation units, therefore this study is included as population research. Data collected by questionnaire technique, then analyzed by path analysis. The results showed that, (1) work environment and discipline had a positive effect on employee performance, (2) work environment had a positive effect on work discipline, (3) work environment had a positive effect on employee performance, and (4) work discipline had a positive effect on performance employee at CV Puspa.

This study aims to examine the effect of (1) competence and compensation for employee performance, (2) competence for compensation, (3) competence for employee performance, and (4) compensation for employee performance at various Lovina Villas And Spa hotels. The research design used in this study is causal quantitative. The subjects of this study were employees at the Hotel Aneka Lovina Villas and Spa and the object was competence, compensation, and employee performance. The population in this research is all employees of all employees who work at Aneka Hotel Lovina Villas and Spa, amounting to 44 employees. All populations are made as observation units, therefore this study is included as population research. Data collected by questionnaire technique, then analyzed by path analysis. The results showed that, (1) competence and compensation had a positive effect on employee performance, (2) competence had a positive effect on compensation, (3) competence had a positive effect on employee performance, and (4) compensation had a positive effect on employee performance at Aneka Lovina Hotel Villas and Spa. Keywords: employee performance, compensation, competence

Employee performance is an important factor for company’s sustainability.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of career development and work motivation on employee performance and the influence of career development on employee performance through mediating work motivation. The population and sample in this study are all employees of PT. Kanmo Group in the Havaianas brand of 64 people. Data were analyzed using path analysis techniques. The results of data analysis show that career development and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, career development has a positive effect on work motivation, and work motivation can mediate the influence of career development on employee performance. Employee performance can be improved by maintaining or enhancing career development and employee motivation. Keywords: career development, work motivation, employee performance

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of work motivation in mediating the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance. This research was conducted at Samabe Bali Suites & Villas. The number of samples taken was 65 employees, with the method used was the saturated sample method. Data collection is done through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are path analysis (path analysis) and multiple analysis. Based on the results of the analysis found that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This shows that the better the transformational leadership carried out by the leader the employee's performance will increase as well. Transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on employee work motivation, this means the better leadership of a leader will increase employee motivation. Work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this shows that the better the work motivation provided, the better the employee's performance increases. Work motivation is positive and significant in mediating the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance. This study aims to obtain explanative findings that test the effect (1) work environment on employee performance indirectly through job satisfaction; (2) work environment on job satisfaction; (3) work environment on employee performance; and (4) job satisfaction on employee performance at Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Karangasem. The design used in this research is causal quantitative. The subjects used in this study were all 67 employees at Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Karangasem and the object of this research were work environment, job satisfaction and employee performance. The research data were collected using a questionnaire method, then analyzed using path analysis. The results of this analysis significantly indicate that (1) work environment indirectly affects employee performance through job satisfaction; (2) work environment has a positive effect on job satisfaction; (3) work environment has a positive effect on employee performance; and (4) job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance at Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Karangasem.

ABSTRACT                                                       The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze Leadership, Compensation, Work Discipline, Motivation and Employee Performance. The population used in this study is the Regional Office X of the Denpasar State Civil Service Agency staff of the with 85 employees. The sample in this study is the entire population because the number of employees is less than 100. Data collection is done using the questionnaire method. The analysis technique used is PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of the study showed that Leadership, Work Discipline, Motivation had a significant positive effect on Compensation and Employee Performance. This research is expected to be a reference and consideration for the Regional Office X of the Denpasar State Civil Service Agency to provide opportunities for employees to develop their ability to perform well and facilitate employees in increasing work motivation.

The aim of this research is to know and to analyze the influence of work culture, work motivation and competency on employee's performance. The Objects are employees of  BJB bank at Ciamis, Garut and Tasikmalaya). The method used is descriptive. The sample was taken by using total sampling technique with total of the samples 89 people. By path analysis, the research found that work motivation with indicators internal and external motivation; work culture with indicators of Service excellence, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Intelligence, Trust included in the high category. Work motivation with indicators of internal motivation and external motivation is included in the sufficient category. Competencies with indicators of Work Quality, Cooperation, Responsibility and Quantity of work are included in the sufficient category. Employee performance with indicators of Work Quality, Discipline Behavior, Use of work time and Attendance are included in the sufficient category. There is a partial positive effect and simultaneous work culture, work motivation and competence on employee performance so that the hypothesis is verified. This means that if the strategy which includes work culture, work motivation and competence is increased, the performance of bank employees to Tasikmalaya, Garut and Ciamis will be better.

In this study, there are results that contradict the theory which states that the higher the level of training and motivation, the employee's performance should increase.  In this study, training had no effect and motivation had no positive effect. This study aims to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance in Kopiloka 3.0.  The population in this study were all employees at Kopiloka 3.0, which amounted to 15 people with a sample of 15 people using saturated sampling.  The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 24 software, which consisted of data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. By using multiple regression analysis, the results of the study show that training has no effect on employee performance.  Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance.  Simultaneously (together) the independent variables of training and motivation have an effect on employee performance.

  Abstrak   Penelitian pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja bertujuan untuk  untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara parsial maupun simultan pada PT Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing Batam. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan uji F dan uji T. Pengambilan data dengan menggunakan sensus, sehingga data diambil dari seluruh populasi. Variabel independen terdiri dari kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja, dan variabel dependennya adalah kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas instrument, selanjutnya data dianalisis dan diuji menggunakan Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel kepemimpinan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.  Sedangkan secara simultan variabel kepemimpinan dan variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai   Abstract   Research influence of leadership and work motivation aims to to test the influence of leadership and work motivation on employee performance either partially or simultaneously at PT Cladtek Bi-Metal Manufacturing Batam. Research data collected by using questionnaire method and data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis using F test and T test. Intake of data by using census, so that data is taken from entire population. Independent variables consist of leadership and work motivation, and the dependent variable is employee performance. This study was conducted by testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, then the data were analyzed and tested using F Test and T Test. The results showed that the leadership of the influential variables are partially negative and insignificant against the performance of employees, and work motivation variables positive and significant effect on performance of employees.  While simultaneously variable leadership and motivational variables work a positive and significant effect on performance of employees. This study aimed to determine the effect of work environment, training, and competence on work satisfaction in improving employee performance. The object in this study is PT. Asaputex Jaya, located in Tegal City, engaged in woven sarong’s trading business with the Korma Tree brand. The sample used in this study was determined by a simple random sampling method, obtaining 105 respondents. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out independently. The analysis used in this study uses the analysis method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study proves and concludes that: work environment and work training have a significant positive effect on work satisfaction. However, competence does not affect work satisfaction. Besides, the work environment negatively affects employee performance, and work training does not affect employee performance. Also, competence and work satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Further research must develop more varied models to provide different research findings, such as adding work stress variables, work motivation, work discipline, and others.
