ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the following things. First, the values of Islamic morality expressed in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Second, the motives of the characters in having Islamic morality in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Third, the impact of having Islamic character on the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study are words, groups of words, and sentences that contain Islamic moral values. This research is sourced from the novel Father by Andrea Hirata. The instrumentation in this study is the researcher as the main instrument. Then, data collection is done using observation techniques. The results of the research in the novel Andrea Hirata's Father are as follows. First, there are 61 data on Islamic moral values in Andrea Hirata's father's novel, which is divided into two, namely 43 praiseworthy moral data and 18 sad moral data. Second, there are the motives of the characters to have Islamic morals consisting of two, namely internal motives and external motives. Third, the impact of having commendable and despicable morals for the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel is also divided into two, namely positive and negative impacts.  Kata kunci : Nilai, Akhlak Islam, Novel Ayah

This research aims to reveal and describe "The preservation of Piriang Rantak Tapi dance in Pitalah village, Batipuh District, Tanah Datar Regency". This research belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The steps of analyzing data were collecting the data, describing the data, and concluding the data. The results show that the effort to preserve the Piriang Rantak Tapi dance isby collaborating with the Tuo Tari and the community in Pitalah village, Batipuh district. With the training of Piriang Rantak Tapi dance, the number of performers has increased from 1 to 8 people in the dance, so that currently the RantakTapipiriang dance has had the next generation to maintain the existence of the dance. This has a positive impact and can be accepted by the community because there are many dance performers around the community. The impact learned in the PiriangRantak dance is that those who previously did not understand dance, but then they can dance a dance taught, namely Piriang Rantak Tapi Dance.Keywords: Preservation, Rantak Piriang Dance, Kenagarian Pitalah

Abstract The research aims to reveal and describe the existence of the Salapan dance in enagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This type of research uses primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data collection, classifying data, analyzing data, interpreting data and making conclusions. The results showed that the existence of the Salapan dance in the middle of society is no longer exist because this dance is rarely displayed and there is no workshop to defend this dance. The choreographers of the Salapan dance creations have also eliminated the meaning of the tradition of dance by changing the movements and properties of the dance itself. The Salapan dance is no longer displayed at events held by local communities such as weddings, but the Salapan dance is only shown more frequently at the request of Tourism office in West Pasaman and competition events. Keyword: existence of dance Salapan

AbstractThis article aims to describe the implementation of learning art and culture (contemporary music) class XII of MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sawahlunto. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study is the researchers themselves and assisted with assisted with observation, interviews, and documentation and study of the literature. The technique of data collection is done by way of observation, interview, documentation and study of the literature. Techniques in analyzing the data is carried out by means of the data processing directly after the field. The results showed that teachers design a simpler contemporary music learning to teach in order to be digested by students given that the study of contemporary music is not a little. In the performance of contemporary music learning, learning that implemented teacher different to what has been written into the draft implementation of learning (RPP). Still found some weaknesses against the methods and strategies that teachers use against learning. Teachers should increase the motivation of students to more focused in the art and cultural learning by doing approach individuals and groups. Facilities and infrastructure provided the school is still minimal, resulting in learning not to be implemented properly.Keywords: implementation and study of art and culture

Abstract This article aims to reveal and describe the existence of Tarea-rea dance in Kenagarian Koto Gadang Guguk Kecamatan Gunung Talang  Kabupaten Solok. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument of this research is its own research and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, cameras and Handycam.  Data types use primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observations and interviews. The steps for analyzing data are data collection, analyzing data, describing data and making conclusions. The results showed that Tarea-rea dance is a art carried by the ancestors of the Guguk people who inherited hereditary with the traditional system. Tarea-rea dance was originally used as a dance at the time of the decline ceremony of rice harvesting. Since 2015 This dance is increasingly popular in the Kenagarian Koto Gadang Guguk as the performing arts. The existence of Tarea-rea dance is still recognized and cultivated by the community and local people also have recognized the existence of the dance in the Kenagarian Koto Gadang Guguk. Keywords: existence, Tarea-Rea dance

This study focuses on internal conflicts in the novel Air Mata Tuhan works Aguk Irawan M.N. The method in this article uses descriptive method and form of qualitative research. Psychology humanities is used as an approach in this article. Data collection technique used is the technique of documentary studies to reviewing  creation humanities. This research aimed to describe of gender inequality to women in the novel Kenanga by Oka Rusmini. The type of this research was qualitative research by using analysis of descriptive method. The data of this research was novel Kenanga by Oka Rusmini. The technique of data collection was done through four stages: (1) read and understood the novel as a whole, (2) determined the character, (3) identified data related to the kinds of gender inequality, the factors of gender inequality, the impacts of gender inequality, and (4) inventorized of data based format inventory data. Based on results of study,it can be concluded that: (1) the types of gender inequality are marginalization, subordination, negative stereotype, violance and burden; (2) the factors of gender inequality are caste factor, patriarchy culture, culture, social and economy; (3) the impacts of gender inequality are psychology, the destroy of idealism and moral.Keywords: gender inequality, women, feminism

<p><em>The Panca Yadnya ceremony is inseparable from the life of the Hindu community in Bali. Like the Panyambleh Kucit Butuan tradition carried out by the people in Pakraman Batuyang village which is one of the series of Panca Yad namely Bhuta Yad which is held once a year precisely falls on the day of the fifth Tilem Sasih held in Ulun Setra by giving Pacaruan with Kucit Butuan. The song by Kucit Butuan in Ulun Setra, all of the Sesuhunan in the form of Barong, Rangda and Bhatara-bhatari Kahyangan Tiga participated in the implementation of the tradition of Panyambleh Kucit Butuan.</em><em> </em><em>The results obtained in this study: 1) The procession of the Panyambleh Kucit Butuan tradition in Ulun Setra, Pakraman Batu Village which includes several series, namely Nedunan Ida Bhatara Ratu Sakti. After that, Ida Bhatara Barong and Rangda went hand in hand towards the location of the traditional retreat, namely to Ulun Setra, Pakraman Batuyang Village (worship to teben) which was carried out in the fifth tilem. Arriving at the place of execution The tradition of chanting (worshiping the teben) is carried out with a renewal ceremony ready for brumbum by giving a cucumber dish but previously held the tabuh as a series of rituals in the traditional tradition with this point, the tool or means of the Tradition by Kucit Butuan, covering Pejati Upa witness, segehan agung, caru is ready for brumbun, Banten which is used in the Chinese tradition with a hint of worship Hulu and teben consists of several parts, among others, male black Butuan Cucumber, Mantai Panyambleh Kucit Butuan Tradition, which is the Baruna Astawa. Baruna Astawa is the main instrument used to carry out the traditional tradition of chanting, with a hint of a point, Dhurga Astawa. Astawa Dhurga is the main pillar used for ngastawa in the implementation of the novel ceremony ready for brumbun and panyamblehan kucit butuan in a series of cucumber grains, Manggala The tradition of purified grains covering the Pinandita / Pamangku Pura Penataran Agung and Pemangku Manca Desa Khayangan.2) Panyambleh Kucit Butuan's traditional function in Ulun Setra, Pakraman Batu Village, which is a traditional tradition with a lot of functions for the people of Pakraman Batuyang Village in general as a form of community service to the Creator of effort. 3) The impact of the Panyambleh Kucit Butuan tradition in Ulun Setra Pakraman Village consists of positive and negative impacts.</em></p>

This research motivated by the existence of Islamic religious values in novel God's I Back by Haidar Musyafa. The value of Islamic religion in terms of the value of aqidah, sharia values and moral values by Haidar Musyafa. The purpose of this research to describe the values of aqidah, shari'a and morals in novel by Haidar Musyafa. The type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research descriptive method of analysis. The data of this research are religious data about the value of creed, morals and characters contained in the novel by Haidar Musyafa. Based on the analysis of research data can be concluded that the value of aqid contained in the novel Haidar Musyafa's, namely (a) faith to Allah SWT (belief in Allah) seen on the character Umi stating that God's promise that His pleasure depends on the pleasure of both parents. (b) faith in the books of Allah swt reflected on the character of Jefry who likes to read the holy verses of the Qur'an in the race. Sharia value is depicted on Apih figures who ordered their children to perform congregational prayers and chips in order not to leave the prayer. Furthermore, the moral values are (a) morals towards Allah (khalik) is depicted on the character of Jefry who initially have habbit not good then repent to be good people. (b) morals towards humans depicted on the character Jefry who like do something not good, being rude and not obeying the words of parents.

This study aims to: (a) describe the episode of Ilana Tan's novel Winter In Tokyo; (b) describe the movie episode of Winter In Tokyo by director Fajar Bustomi; (c) describe the episode of Ilana Tan's novel Winter In Tokyonovel with Winter In Tokyo directed by Fajar Bustomi. This research type is qualitative research with descriptive method. This research data is the episode of novelty novel Winter In Tokyo by Ilana Tan and Winter In Tokyo film directed by Fajar Bustomi. Data collection techniques have three stages. First, read Ilana Tan's Winter In Tokyo novel, and then follow Winter In Tokyo directed by Fajar Bustomi. Second, the data collection phase of the novel episode of Winter In Tokyo by Ilana Tan and Winter In Tokyo film by director Fajar Bustomi were collected through recording and observation techniques. Third, the stage of inventorying data into data inventory format. The research findings are episodes of 24 novel episodes, while in the film there are 24 episodes. In the film there are 6 additional episodes, and a reduction of 14 episodes, while the episode of a novel story that changes varies after being turned into a movie, found 7 episodes. It happens because of the creativity of the director while adapting the novel to the movie.Keywords: novel, movie, ekranisasi, episode

Abstract This article aims to describe the Impact of the implementation of extracurricular activity in dancing at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci . The type of research was qualitative research with using descriptive method. The object of research was the students of class VIII and the researcher. Techniques of data collection were done by using library research, observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, Techniques of data analysis were done by  collecting, identifying and analyzing data. The result shows that the students who get the highest score (Very Good) are included in participating on the FLS2N competition in Kerinci Regency appropriate with the direction of the headmaster of SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci .The headmaster gives his appreciation to all school parties who have contributed and participated in reviving extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci especially to students delegation, Amir S. because by holding the extracurricular activity in 2019, SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci sends delegation to participate on district level. It is different from the previous year, SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci do not participate in the FLS2N competition. It indicates that SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci  has progressed. Keywords: Implementation, Extracurricular, Dance.
