This study aims to determine the practicality of the guided inquiry-based acid-base module in class XI MIPA. This study uses a plomp development model consisting of 3 stages, namely initial research, prototype development, and the assessment stage. The instrument used in the practicality test is in the form of a questionnaire given to teachers and students. The practicality value is calculated by using Aiken V formula. The result of this study indicates that the module developed has a practical value of 0,89 with a high category.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang bersifat valid, praktis dan efektif. Pengembangan modul praktikum ini mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D oleh thiagarajan yang meliputi tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebarluasan (disseminate). Modul praktikum ini telah melalui tahap validasi oleh validator ahli dan telah melalui uji coba terbatas, serta mengalami revisi oleh pengembang sehingga menghasilkan modul praktikum yang bersifat valid, praktis dan efektif. Hasil penelitian pengembangan modul praktikum ini adalah : 1) penilaian kevalidan ahli materi sebesar 3,65 dengan kategori sangat valid, hasil penilaian tampilan modul sebesar 3,68 juga memperoleh kategori sangat valid. 2) respon peserta didik dan guru juga memperoleh 83,14% dan 88,98% dengan kategori sangat tinggi sehingga modul praktikum dikatakan praktis; 3) pada tahap uji coba terbatas kepada 32 peserta didik kelas XI MIA di SMAN 5 Makassar memperoleh masing-masing rata-rata 87,50% yang berada pada kategori tinggi, sehingga modul praktikum dikatakan efektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah modul praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan dengan model 4D bersifat valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. The development of this experiment module reffered development model of 4-D by thiagarajan that included are define, design, develop and disseminate of phases. This experiment module has validated by expert, and had been tried limitedly, and revised by order to obtain avalid, practical and effective experiment module. The result of this study were: 1) Validation of the validity of the material expert was 3.65 with a very valid category, the module display evaluation was 3.68 which very valid category; 2) students and teachers responses received 83,14% and 88.98% which very high category, so experiment module could be said practical; 3) in phase of tried limitedly to 32 students of class XI MIA SMAN 5 Makassar obtained the average score of students learning result was 87,50% which was high category. Experiment module could be said effective. The conclusion of this research was experiment module based on guided inquiry developed by 4D model was valid, practical, and effective to use on learning. This study aims to produce teaching materials based material reaction rate guided inquiry (learning cycle: the phase of exploration, discovery / establishment of the concept and application) in the form of a valid experiment worksheets and practical use in learning chemistry in SMA / MA. This type of research included in Research and Development (R & D). The development model used in this study is the four-D (4-D). The research instrument is the validation sheet and questionnaire. Data from the study consists of three aspects, namely, the validity, the practicalities and effectiveness of teaching materials. Data validity and practicalities processed using Cohen's Kappa formula, and the effectiveness of data using a percentage In this study is limited to the validity and practicalities. Validation of teaching materials from the aspect of content, language and graffiti and feasibility of construction. Data from the validator obtained an average score moment kappa was 0.87, and the results of practical analysis conducted with a limited test in MAN 3 Padang obtained an average score of 0.84 practicality value of 0.78 of teachers and students. From the analysis worksheets that showed 86 % of students working on critical questions and exercises contained in LKS experiments that have been made can be answered students. These results indicate that LKS guided inquiry-based experiments developed extremely valid and practical use in learning chemistry

Abstract- Chemistry is a science that involves learning activities in the classroom and in the laboratory In curriculum 2013, requires students to be actively involved in the learning process. This study aims to develop student' worksheet for the classroom and laboratory activities-based guided inquiry on the subject rate of reaction, as well as reveal its validity and practicalities level. This type of research is educational design research (EDR) by uisng Plomp development model. Stages of development model is comprised of preliminary research, prototyping stage and the assessment phase. Student Worksheet developed validated by six validators (3 chemistry lecturers of FMIPA UNP and 3 high school chemistry teachers). Based on research, Student worksheets for the classroom and laboratory activities-based guided inquiry on the subject rate of reaction with the average value of the validity of 0.86, 0.84 practicalities value from teachers and students value the practicalities of 0.76. Based on the results of this study concluded that the Student Worksheet for the classroom and laboratory activities-based guided inquiry can be developed to subject rate of reaction and Student Worksheet for the classroom and laboratory activities-based guided inquiry on the subject rate of reaction that has developed a very high validity category, practicality is very high from teachers, and high practicality from students.

This study aimed to produce a reaction rate e-module based on guided inquiry integrated virtual laboratory and practical use in senior high school chemistry learning. The type of this research was Research and Development and the development model used was the 4-D model which consists of four stages: (1) define, (2) design, (3) development, (4) desseminate. This research was limited to the validity and practicality test. The validity test was carried out by 6 experts and limited trials to reveal the practicality done at SMAN 12 Padang. The research instrument used was in the form of a validity and practicality questionnaire which was analyzed using kappa moment (k) Data analysis showed that the average moment of kappa content validity was 0.89 with a very high validity category, while the average moment of kappa technical validity was 0,83 with a very high validity category. The average practical kappa moments from teachers and students were respectively 0.82 and 0.91 with a very high practicality category. These results were also supported by the analysis of students’ answers in answering critical questions, exercises, prelab questions, postlab questions, and worksheets in modules, with an average value of 82,63%. It can be concluded that the developed reaction rate e-module based on guided inquiry integrated with virtual laboratory is valid and practice to used on a learning process

The research has created the module of mole concept based on structured inquiry with interconnection of multiple representation and determined the validity and practicality of the module. The research type was Research and Development (R&D). The development model was 4-D models that consist of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research was limited on develop step. The instrument of the research was questionnaire form that consist of validity and practicality sheets. The module was validated by 5 validators. Practicality module was tested by 2 chemistry teachers and 28 students of grade XI MIA 5 at SMAN 4 of Padang. Validity and practicality data were analysed by using the kappa Cohen formula. The moment kappa average of 5 validators was 0,95 with highest validity category. The moment kappa average of teachers and students were 0,89 and 0,91 praticality with high category. The result of the research showed that the module of mole concept based on structured inquiry with interconnection of macro, submicro, and symbolic representation was valid and practice to be used on the learning chemistry

This research is motivated by the still limited teaching materials or learning tools that facilitate students in enriching experiences, developing knowledge and activeness of students, and supporting students to formulate their own discoveries. The limitations of these learning tools will certainly affect the quality of learning, especially in chemistry learning. The purpose of this study is to develop a guided inquiry-based chemical handout on a valid buffer solution based on aspects of content suitability, language worthiness, presentation worthiness and graphic worthiness. The research design used research and development design with a 4-D development model. The 4-D development model has four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was carried out until the development stage and followed by limited trials. Data collection techniques was in the form of validation sheets and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results show an average percentage rating of three experts at 93% with a valid category. The results of trials to teachers and students each obtained an average percentage score of 94% and 86%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the guided inquiry-based chemical handout on buffer solution material for SMA is valid and good for a learning handout.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Termokimia melalui penerapan strategi Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) (POGIL) di kelas 11 SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yang diadakan di SMAN 8 Pekanbaru pada tahun akademik 2017/2018. Objek penelitian adalah XI MIA 1 yang terdiri dari 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data siswa menggunakan teknik tes pretest dan posttest. Keberhasilan pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan kriteria berpikir kritis dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang menganalisis persentase skor berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Siswa mengalami peningkatan dari kategori berpikir kritis sangat rendah ke kategori sangat tinggi dengan persentase 15,625%, dari kategori rendah ke kategori sangat tinggi adalah 40,625%, dari kategori rata-rata ke kategori sangat tinggi adalah 9,375%, dari kategori sangat rendah hingga kategori tinggi adalah 12,5%, dan dari kategori rendah ke kategori tinggi adalah 21,875%. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Termokimia di SMAN 8 Pekanbaru.   The research was held to determine the improvement of student’s critical thinking ability on Thermochemistry subject through implementation of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) strategy at 11th Grade of SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. This research used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design which held in SMAN 8 Pekanbaru at academic year of 2017/2018. The object of research is XI MIA 1 that consist of 32 students. The data collection of students used test technique which are pretest and posttest. The success of learning in improvement of student’s critical thinking ability is showed by improvement of criteria of critical thinking from pretest and posttest results that analyzed the score percentage of critical thinking. The result of research showed that there was an improvement of student’s critical thinking ability. The students have an increase from the very low category of critical thinking to very high category with percentage of 15,625%, from low category to very high category is 40,625%, from average category to very high category is 9,375%, from very low category to high category is 12,5%, and from low category to high category is 21,875%. Based on data analyze, it can be concluded that implementation of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) strategy is able to improve student’s critical thinking ability on Thermochemistry subject at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru.

Practicum guides are printed teaching materials that students can use in the learning process. This development research aims to determine the feasibility of an acid base-based practicum guide for environmental materials with a 3-D model and to improve student learning outcomes through practicum activities and the application of guided inquiry methods. The subject of this research was class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Tenga. The feasibility test for large groups has an average percentage of 88.24% which means that this practical guide is suitable for use with valid qualifications. Student learning outcomes using post test scores with the technique of statistical analysis of one sample t-test (one sample t-test). The results of the one-sample t-test hypothesis at a level of α = 5% were obtained tcount = 4.604> ttable = 1.708. The results of this study indicate that the guidelines for acid-base-based practicum for environmental materials are appropriate to be used in chemistry learning, and the use of acid-based practicum guides for environmental materials with the application of guided inquiry methods can improve student learning outcomes in acid-base material

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kelayakan dan respon guru terhadap Permainan Kartu Kuartet pada materi asam basa, dan garam di SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian dan pengembangan adalah (R&D) yang mengadopsi model pemngembangan ADDIE. Pengambilan data untuk mengetahui respon guru dengan cara memberikan angket kepada 3 Guru IPA di sekolah yang diteliti. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa Permainan Kartu Kuartet yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan Bahasa 100% (sangat layak), media 100% (sangat layak) dan materi 91,66% (sangat layak), dan respon guru sebesar 81,24% terhadap Permainan Kartu Kuartet. Hal ini menunjukkan di SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak tergolong kategori sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian Permainan Kartu Kuartet dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran materi Asam Basa dan Garam sebagai media pembantu dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Kartu Kuartet, Asam Basa Garam, Kelayakan, ResponABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the level of feasibility and teacher response to the Quartet Card Game on acid base and salt material Junior High School 9 Pontianak. The form of research and development is (R&D) which adopts the ADDIE development model. Collecting data to determine the teacher’s response by giving a questionnaire to 3 science teachers in the schools studied. The results of data processing show that the developed quartet card game is suitable for use in learning in terms of the percentage of language feasibility of 100%, media is 100%, in the proper category and material is 91,66%, with the very feasible category, and the teacher’s response was 81,24% for the Quartet Card Game. This shows that Junior High School 9 Pontianak is in the very high category. Teaching materials are said to be practical if the practitioners or the experts state that the developed teaching materials can be applied in the research. The purpose of this research is to reveal the practicality of redox e-modules and GDL-based electrochemical cells for XII grade of high school students. This research is a continuation of educational design research with the Plomp development model at the prototyping stage, this research was conducted at SMAN 1 Lintau Buo Utara. The data were analyzed with the Aiken V formula. The results of one-to-one evaluation showed that the e-module uses clear fonts, covers and attractive designs, the language used is easy to understand, the presentation of coherent material, videos and animations can help students to understand the material. The results of the analysis on the average Aiken V formula obtained a V value of 0.88 at the small group stage and 0.86 at the high category field test stage. This data is evidenced by the ability of students to answer questions on the e-module by 90.5 percent with a very high category. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that the e-module redox and electrochemical cells based on GDL are practically used in the learning process with a high practicality category.
