The main purpose of the article is to review the most complete and holistic scientific works of Russian authors which are devoted to the study of Italian-Libyan relations. To carry out the research a broad historiographic base on the topic was involved, the author turned to both the “classic” works of Soviet scientists, and to the most modern scientific figures. One of the main tasks in the study of the topic is to identify the historiographic issues associated with the lack of modern Russian scientific literature on the referred theme. The article analyzes the specific features of the literature published from the end of the 20th to the beginning of the 21st century in Russia, highlighting the issue of interaction between two countries in different spheres of international relations. The methodological basis of the work is the issue-chronological and complex analysis of the used literature, the establishment of the cause-effect relationships and patterns in the Russian authors approaches to their research, as well as their interpretation for the current stage of development of relations between the two countries. During research it was revealed that most of the scientific works of our compatriots are devoted to a certain, rather narrow, range of issues: the Italian–Turkish war of 1911–1912, cooperation between Libya and Italy in the control of illegal migration from Africa to Europe, Italian military intervention in the civil war in Libya 2011. At the same time, not many Russian authors cover and analyze the Italian-Libyan cooperation in the politi- cal, cultural, social, and economic fields during the long-term period of Colonel Gaddafi’s rule in Libya. In this regard, the author of the article notes that there is a great amount of historical data: the diplomatic documents, resolutions, offi- cial letters of top public executives, treaties and agreements between the coun- tries, including documents of international organizations that are not studied at present sufficiently. The article identifies the most perspective areas for further research of Italian-Libyan relations, what emphasizes the importance and relevance of the chosen topic. The author comes to a conclusion that at the moment it seems quite difficult to find a well-founded, comprehensive scientific literature designed to determine the nature and options for the development of relations between Libya and Italy at the modern stage.

The paper describes the semantics of the preposition "по", which is the most ambiguous and common preposition of the modern Russian language. Thus, it reveals a tendency to blurred semantics, which makes a deeper consideration of this problem quite relevant. The author analyzed scientific literature on this issue and built a classification its meanings. The semantic analysis and statistical calculations were conducted in the basis of scientific texts. The preposition proved to be used mostly in the meaning of adverbial modifier of manner "to act in accordance with something, on the basis of something". Within this meaning, a number of semantic shades were highlighted: to be defined according to some parameter; act on the basis of certain data, facts; act in accordance with a certain way of organizing the phenomenon; act on the basis of someone's will (decision), desire; act in accordance with certain official documents and procedures; to be defined according to a certain naming method; to be defined on the basis of some measurement method. The analysis can improve the semantic structure of the preposition "по" in modern Russian.

In the Russian scientific literature, there are practically no detailed publications of the materials of the MacArthur study of aging, the results of which became the basis for the development of a new direction in gerontology – «successful», «prosperous» aging. The concept of «successful aging» is based on empirical data in the works of D.V. Rowe, R.L. Kahn. This article describes the organization of the MacArthur study of aging and the methods used; the logic of substantiation of the category «successful aging» is given; the contribution of the individual and society to the task of successful aging is shown.

Abstract The first Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP) report was published in 1998 and followed by three assessment reports of human health (AMAP 2003, 2009 and 2015). The focus area of the AMAP reports was to monitor levels of environmental contaminants in the Arctic and to assess the health effects connected with detected levels in Arctic countries. This review gives an overview of temporal trends of contaminants and their health effects in humans of the Arctic based on data published by AMAP, as well as Russian scientific literature. Several time series of 31 contaminants in humans of the Arctic from different cohorts are reported. The lengths of time series and periods covered differ from each other. International restrictions have decreased the levels of most persistent organic pollutants in humans and food webs. Percentage changes for contaminants in human biological matrices (blood samples from children, mothers and males and breast milk samples) for the period of sampling showed declining trends in most of the monitored Arctic locations, with the exception of oxychlordane, hexachlorobenzene (HCB), 2,2′,4,4′,5,5′-hexabromodiphenyl ether (PBDE153) and perfluorinated compounds (PFCs).
