This research is about flood vulnerability mapping in Jambi City based on Geographic Information System (GIS). This study is aiming to find out the flood vulnerability level, spatial distribution of flood, and flood prone areas in Jambi City. We used five parameters that affect flood vulnerability, including land slope, land level, land use, soil type, and rainfall during 2019. The method used is the scoring and overlay method with the help of ArcGis software. Flood vulnerability level was divided into three categories, namely quite vulnerable, vulnerable, and very vulnerable. The results obtained in this study are that most of Jambi City has a level of flood vulnerability in the vulnerable category, which is an area of 9254.82 ha (58%), while for the area that is dominated quite safe from flooding, Jambi Selatan sub-district, is 2849.14 ha (18%). This shows that more than half of the Jambi city area is a flood-prone area so it is very important to carry out structural and non-structural mitigation actions

The purpose of this research is to create a geographic information system Bengkulu city flood-prone areas using ArcView. Apply the knowledge obtained during the lecture, especially relating to the development of Geographic Information Systems. To be able to produce a system that is accurate and useful information for the community. Where the research was conducted in the city of Bengkulu BASARNAS. Bengkulu BASARNAS office specializing in Search and Rescue (SAR), is the body that manage the flood of data that is still done manually, using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Gajah Wong Sub Watersheds frequently hit by floods which are potentially damaging. Therefore, a study on a flood vulnerability of the area is deemed necessary. This study aims to map floods vulnerability, to know the level and its spread in Gajah Wong Sub Watershed of Yogyakarta County Province by using Geographic Information System (GIS). The methods implemented in this study was weighing and scoring analysis and overlay of parameter attributes data of flood vulnerability framer, consisting of land use, slope of mountain, rainfall, soil type, geology, height of location and river buffer. Each parameter of flood vulnerability framer is classified based on the magnitude of effect towards flood vulnerability. The results of this study indicate that there were three levels of flood vulnerability in  Gajah Wong Sub Watershed, i.e. low flood vulnerability of 338.34 Ha (6.86%), medium flood vulnerability level of 4,595.62 Ha (93.13%) and high flood vulnerability level of  0.76 Ha (0.02%). Low flood vulnerability level is ditributed randomly to all areas of  Gajah Wong Sub Watershed cover of Ngaglik Sub-district, Depok Sub-district, small part of  Pleret Sub-district and was predominantly in  Banguntapan Sub-district, an area with rainfall. Medium flood vulnerability areas dominated Gajah Wong Watershed. Meanwhile, high flood vulnerability level occupied small portion of the area and spread in the southern part of Pleret Sub-district which was taken as the area of River Buffer analysis. Abstrak: Bencana banjir merupakan bencana yang sering terjadi di wilayah iklim tropis khususnya daerah yang letaknya dikelilingi oleh aliran air atau genangan air seperti danau. Banjir di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh pergantian musim yang tidak menentu yang menyebabkan bencana banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan wilayah yang rawan terhadap banjir dan mengetahui sebarapa besar tingkat kerawananan banjir yang dapat terjadi di studi area penelitian pada wilayah Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode overlay dengan tumpang susun layer, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan total scoring dari nilai dan bobot dari tiap parameter. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder berupa data spasial dan non spasial dari lembaga resmi Negara Indonesia, yang dipakai untuk mendukung analisis yang dilakukan. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan pada studi area penelitian di wilayah Kabupaten Semarang, diketahui terdapat 159 desa pada daerah dengan tingkat kerawanan yang rendah, serta 109 desa pada daerah dengan tingkat kerawanan sedang, sisanya 20 desa berada pada tingkat kerawanan tinggi. Dari analisis yang dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa wilayah Kabupaten Semarang khususnya pada daerah studi area penelitian menghasilkan informasi dari empat kecamatan yang ada, memiliki tingkat kerentanan yang didominasi oleh tingkat tidak rawan dan cukup rawan. Kata kunci: Bencana Banjir, Overlay, Scoring, Sistem Informasi Geografi.Abstract: Disaster flood disasters that occur in climatic areas, especially areas associated with water flows or puddles such as lakes. Floods in Indonesia are inspired by the changing seasons that are disastrous floods. This study aims to map the areas that are prone to flooding and how much danger is the level of flood vulnerability that can occur in the study area of Semarang Regency. This study uses an overlay method with overlapping layers, based on the calculation of the total score of the values and weights of each parameter. Data collection was carried out by collecting secondary data in the form of spatial data and non-official Indonesian institutions, which were used to support the analysis carried out. From the results of the analysis carried out in the study area of research in Semarang Regency, it is known that there are 159 villages in areas with low levels of vulnerability, as well as 109 villages in areas with moderate levels of vulnerability, the remaining 20 villages are at high levels of vulnerability. From the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the Semarang Regency area, especially in the study area the research area produces information from the four existing sub-districts, has a level of vulnerability which is dominated by a level of vulnerability which is not vulnerable and quite vulnerable. Keywords: Flood Disaster, Overlay, Scoring, Geographic Information System.

<p>Flood is still an annual problem in the Kudus District. Based on the survey and interview with Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD – Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah) data showed that in the Kudus District there are still many flood-prone areas. They also said that, there are six parameter that can be used to identify potential flood area such as: extensive inundation (km2, ha), depth or height of flood waters (meters), the flow velocity (m/s,km/h), the material washed away by flood flow (rocks, boulders, trees, and other solid objects), concentrations of water or silt thickness (meters, centimeters), and duration of inundation (hours, days, months). Therefor this research use six parameters are then analyzed and used as a benchmark model to identify flood-prone areas by using the production rule method, and as the material in constructing and designing flood-prone area identification systems based on expert system. Thus this research resulted a system to assist the identification of flood prone areas in the Kudus District by using expert system and geographic information system (GIS).</p>

Abstrak. Analisis curah hujan dan analisis peta kelerengan, jenis tanah dan tataguna lahan diperlukan untuk mengetahui besarnya debit rencana dengan menggunakan Metode Rasional yang dapat mempengaruhi besarnya potensi daya pada setiap sub-sub DAS Krueng Aceh bagian hulu. Curah hujan perlu dihitung dengan parameter statistik untuk menentukan distribusi yang dapat digunakan sehingga dapat diperoleh curah hujan rencana. Overlay peta kelerengan, jenis tanah, dan tataguna lahan untuk memperoleh nilai koefisien limpasan (C). Penelitian ini menggunakan data curah hujan 10 tahun periode 2009-2018, serta data spasial tahun 2016. Besarnya nilai curah hujan rencana yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan distribusi yang memenuhi syarat pada kawasan penelitian yaitu Distribusi Log Pearson III pada periode ulang tertentu diperoleh curah hujan rencana yang nilainya semakin besar seiring dengan semakin besarnya periode ulang. Debit rencana yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan Metode Rasional pada periode ulang tertentu diperoleh nilai debit yang bervariasi, semakin lama periode ulang yang digunakan maka semakin semakin besar debit maksimum yang diperoleh. Potensi Daya yang dihasilkan dari hasil perhitungan secara teoritis pada periode ulang tertentu diperoleh niai daya yang masuk kedalam klasifikasi daya PLTMH yang berkisar antara 5 kW-100 kW. Hasil keusioner berdasarkan Metode Likert menunjukkan bahwa website yang berisi potensi daya PLTMH di DAS Krueng Aceh bagian hulu yang telah dibangun adalah baik dan berhasil. Rainfall analysis and slope, soil type and land use analysis are needed to determine the amount of discharge plan using the Rational Method that can influence the magnitude of power potential in each sub-section of the upstream part of the Krueng Aceh watershed. Rainfall needs to be calculated with statistical parameters to determine the distribution that can be used so that a rainfall plan can be obtained. Slope map overlay, soil type, and land use to obtain runoff coefficient (C). This study uses 10 years of rainfall data for the 2009-2018 period, as well as 2016 spatial data. The amount of the rainfall plan is obtained from the calculation of the distribution that meets the requirements in the study area, namely the Log Pearson III Distribution in a certain return period, the rainfall plan is obtained, the greater the value along with the increasing return period. The plan debit obtained from the calculation results using the Rational Method in a given return period varies the value of the discharge, the longer the return period used, the greater the maximum debit obtained. Potential Power generated from the theoretical calculation results in a certain return period is obtained the value of the power that is included in the classification of power plants that range from 5 kW-100 kW. The results based on the Likert Method show that the website containing the power potential of PLTMH in the upstream part of the Krueng Aceh watershed has been good and successful. The pond land suitability in a fish cultivation business is very necessary to be considered to increase the catfish production in Padang city suitability can be done based on 2 aspects, i.e economic (economic evaluation) and physical evaluation. This research aims to the analysis of pond land suitability for the cultivation of catfish enlargement in Padang city using Geographic Information System (GIS) application. The method is overlaid using 9 parameters: a) cultivation pond; b) distance of cultivation from transportation facilities; c) location of cultivation from water sources (rivers/drainage); d) slope; e) soil type; f) land use; g) altitude; h) flood disaster; and i) landslide, then obtained the result of the most suitable area for the catfish cultivation in Padang city is Kuranji Sub-district with the most important parameter is the land use.

Abstrak Telah dilakukan pemetaan daerah rawan banjir di Kecamatan Kupang Timur Kabupaten Kupang Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur dengan aplikasi penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis. Metode penelitian berupa pembuatan peta curah hujan, pembuatan peta tutupan lahan dan pembuatan peta kelas lereng. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kerawanan banjir di kecamatan kupang timur kabupaten kupang dibagi dalam 3 kelas yaitu kelas tidak rawan dengn luas wilayah 8284,32 Ha dengan persentase yaitu 50.70 %, kelas rawan dengan luas wilayah 3368,61 Ha dengan presentase yaitu 20.62 % dan kelas sangat rawan dengan luas wilayah 4686,93 Ha dengan presentase yaitu 28.68 %.
