This paper argued that da’wah activities in social counseling foster adaptability of students in school as mad’u (object of da'wah). This is conducted by the teacher as a da’i or preacher (the subject of da’wah, social communicator and guide). Social counseling is a field of social life service for students, which helps students assess and build an effective and healthy social relationship with their peers or with the wider social environment. Social counseling is a field service required to help students adjust themselves in school, in this case the students’ relationships with students and teachers in school. Da’wah communication is used to deliver the kind of service appropriate to the student’s social counseling; such as the introduction of the school environment, curriculum, teacher characteristics, so that students do not have difficulties in adapting to the social environment in school.

This study investigates the link between social relationship and subjective well-being in the context of social stratification. The authors examine how perceived quality of social relationships and subjective social class are linked to self-reported happiness among men and women in South Korea. The study finds that one’s perception of relative social standing is positively associated with happiness independently of objective indicators of socioeconomic status, while social relationship quality strongly predicts the happiness among both men and women. However, the mediation pathway and moderating effects vary by gender. For men, the nexus between subjective social class and happiness is partially mediated by the quality of interpersonal relationships. No similar mediating effect is found among women. The study also finds gender difference in whether the link between social relationship quality and happiness varies by subjective social class. The happiness return to positive social relationships increases as men’s subjective social status becomes higher, which is consistent with the resource multiplication hypothesis. No similar moderation effect is found among women. Combined, these results reveal potentially different pathways to happiness across gender in Korea, where social status competition, collectivistic culture, and patriarchal gender relations are salient in daily life.

Throughout his writings, Erving Goffman develops the principle that successful impression management requires an appearance of “spontaneous involvement” as evidence of individuals' sincerity. Goffman never articulates this principle in terms of how persons are actually—indeed, as he sometimes recognizes, necessarily involved spontaneously in the social environment. This paper asks: What does it mean for our reading of Goffman and of social situations generally if we move the proposition of the experiential necessity of spontaneous involvement to the center of sociological analysis? I discuss why it never moved to the center of Goffman's inquiries, and then argue that a theory of habit facilitates an elaborate of its sociological significance.

Human social identity requires him to continue to be connected with other humans in a harmonious social relationship. The Bible also places justice as a vital part of human social life. The biblical description reveals that God is a just person and there is never fraud in God. The aim of this research is to interpret the Bible's teachings about God's justice from the perspective of Pentecostal theology. This article contains an explanation of the importance of justice for humans, the Bible's narrative about God's justice, and the way Pentecostals interpret God's justice. The method used in this research is descriptive and literature review. Based on the results of the discussion, it was concluded that in the view of the Pentecostals, God's justice speaks of God's character. The justice of Allah is also interpreted by the Pentecostals as God's Rule that God wants to be obeyed. In addition, God's justice also means the defense of Allah and the demands that God wants every believer to do in social life so that they can be maximized as witnesses of God and become salt and light for the community where God has placed.  Identitas sosial manusia menuntutnya untuk terus terkoneksi dengan manusia lainnya dalam sebuah hubungan sosial yang harmonis. Alkitab pun meletakkan keadilan sebagai bagian vital dalam kehidupan sosial manusia.  Deskripsi Alkitab mengungkapkan bahwa Allah adalah pribadi yang adil dan tidak ada kecurangan dalam diri Allah. Tujuan penelitin ini bermaksud memaknai ajaran Alkitab tentang keadilan Allah dari sudut pandang teologi Pentakosta. Artikel ini berisi tentang penjelasan pentingnya keadilan bagi manusia, narasi Alkiab tentang keadilan Allah, dan cara kaum Pentakosta memaknai keadilan Allah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini deskriptif dan kajian literatur. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dalam pandangan kaum Pentkosta keadilan Allah berbicara karakter Allah. Keadilan Allah juga dimaknai kaum Pentaksota sebagai Aturan Allah yang Allah ingin untuk dipatuhi. Selain itu, keadilan Allah juga dimaknai pembelaan Allah dan tuntutan yang Allah ingin setiap orang percaya lakukan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat agar bisa maksimal sebagai saksi Tuhan dan menjadi garam serta terang bagi komunitas dimana Tuhan tempatkan.

<p><em>Spiritual intelligence is Supposed to be the main concern in education. This is done by the teaching of religious ethical values by example from the family, school and community. through the practice of worship, Such as fasting a month in Ramadhan (Refrain from eating and drinking or anything that may nevertheless invalidate the fast, all day from dawn until sunset in the month of Ramadan).  fasting, reading and understanding the holy book the Qur'an, physical and social environment conducive. when the spirituality of the students are organized, it will be Easier to organize other aspects of personality.  Fasting during Ramadan is a momentum for character building. Fasting will let people have strong principles, patience, Sincerity and do not give up and have the solidarity and love each other. That principle has now started to disappear. Moment of  Ramadan  may also be a school agenda for character building, with this media, students are expected to remember and go back to the true identity of the sacred and sublime, with the values of humanity and wisdom. When the values of human nature come back on the track, then the equality and solidarity will color the days of the students. Fasting has a horizontal dimension with a strong social life Such as charity, served meals to the orphans, be patient in facing the problem. there are some excellent values for building the character of students. It is Appropriate if the moment of Ramadan fasting would be passed on in the schools as a program after the month of Ramadan in shaping the character of students through the activities of the sunnah fasting( not </em><em>compulsory fasting) </em><em>  twice a week Monday-Thursday, or give students the freewill to negotiate to determine how many times a week or every month held sunnah fasting together, the idea of the Sunnah fasting is influence on the formation of student character effectively.</em></p>

This research has aim to get description of education values and the effects toward children social relationship in the novel of Totto-chan. The approach method to answer both problems is literary sociology approach. Litetature has relation with people in the society, the effort of people to addapt and change society. Sociology is objective and scientific study about human in society, study about institution and social process. The difference between literature and sociology is sociology does scientific and  objective analysis. In other hand, literature infiltrates and penetrates social life and shows human ways to comprehend society with their feeling.The teaching result of education values and the effects for the children social relationship are:1. Want to listen what the students tell. We must respect each other and appreciate to the others. It happens when people is speaking to us, so we must pay attention and listen well. The social relationship with everyone created by communication can run well. 2. Give self confidence.When we give trust to the others to do their tasks, so we must believe that person can responsible for their task, so that that person can be success in their task. When we give believe to the other person to overcome their problem, so we have to be sure that they can do it well. The trust between one and others create harmonious social relationship. 3. Delete unpretentious feeling  in disable children.Whoever our frien, we must love them eventhough they have lack (disable). Teacher Kobayashi also teach that children or students can not underestimate those disable person. This case makes children in Tomoe love each other, so that social relationship like friendship will create well without underestimate each other.

Project contract is only one aspect of project governance. Even a perfect contract can not ensure the project performance. The specific characteristics of construction project transaction determines the traditional project governance mechanism that focus on contract alone can not make sure that the construction project goes well. In fact, since construction projects are inserted to certain social environment, the influence of social relationship on project performance draws increasing attention as the research on project governance goes further. The paper applies the idea of relational governance to construction project transaction governance aimed at its specific characteristics and analyses the influential factors of relational governance in construction project transaction from the stakeholders angle and its application exemplified by the partnering pattern.

Multicultural was resulted from the effect of intersection of individual right among society or civil right in state. Multicultural as the base essence is able to resist the violence existence. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method. This research showed that: (a) the modernization progress in Salatiga  influenced the shifting of social life in the students social environment. (b) Communication and Broadcasting of Islam Department (KPI) of Dakwah Faculty positively appreciated model of multicultural character development in civic education learning because it was regarded as innovative model and appropriate with the environment of social society of students. (c) Model of multicultural character development was effective to develop the awareness of tolerant among students. (d) Lecturers were able to deliver civic education material using this model. (e) The supremacy of this model was in the learning objective, affective aspect became the main target, while cognitive and psychomotor aspect became proponent factor.

<p>A review of literature on the experiences of international students reveals their mostly adverse experiences in academic and social lives during their stay in a host country. At the same time, despite facing challenging experiences, international student numbers are rapidly increasing worldwide every year. Moreover, studies in general find that the facilities and services provided by the concerned educational providers are not being utilized by the international students as intended. Within this context, it may be mentioned that although Indian students have been coming to New Zealand for studies since 1951 as a result of the popular Colombo plan, there is no exclusive study on them, although we have such studies on the Chinese and Vietnamese international students.  The absence of such a study prevents us from recognising the specific requirements or identifying the unique features of their experiences of adjustment to the new academic and social environment. A few studies on Indian students in other countries have identified some of their difficulties while adjusting to the conditions of host countries. Furthermore, the current statistics of international students in higher education sector worldwide reveal that India is one of the top source countries for international student migration at present and for the future. In New Zealand context, even though India is being considered as an important source country for international students in the university sector, the statistics indicate that the majority of Indian international students are not enrolled in universities. All these reasons indicate the need for a specific study on Indian international students and thus, this study was initiated to explore the adjustment experiences of Indian international students studying in eight universities in New Zealand, focussing on their language, academic and social life experiences.  A mixed methods research approach was employed in this study. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data in the initial quantitative phase, and in the later phase, interviews were conducted for qualitative data collection. Both male and female Indian international students participated in this study. They were studying undergraduate or postgraduate courses at different universities in New Zealand, and belonged to different age groups and religions. Most of them have been studying outside India for the first time in their lives.  The findings of this study revealed that Indian students have adequate levels of language proficiency; they adjusted well to their academic life; enjoyed their learning experiences in New Zealand; and minimised their psychological issues through utilising social media facilities. These findings differ from those of the other generic research on Asian students. But apart from these positive aspects, the findings also point to a few concerns about their initial adjustment to a new academic system and new social environment in New Zealand, arising from a lack of proper understanding and information. This study therefore suggests a model for better cross-cultural understanding of both the prospective students and the universities as a possible means to minimize the initial difficulties of these students.</p>
