The Covid-19 Pandemic has hurt the beverage outlets' sales. This study investigates the strength of the internal and external factors that influenced sales in the online platforms of hype drinks. Thus, the study focused on the adaptation strategy to improve the sales in the online platform of hype drinks under environmentally-health pressures. The approach was mixed-method by obtaining the data through questionnaires, interviews, and observation. The participant in this study was consumer, employee, and owner.  Data analysis is conducted under the SWOT analysis that has four steps in presenting the data. The finding concluded that internal and external factors positively impacted the business strategy to increase online sales of beverage outlets by riding the wave of hype among customers.

Cara terbaik dalam meningkatkan persaingan adalah dengan melibatkan langsung faktor-faktorinternal dan eksternal yang berkaitan dengan kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman. Analisis SWOTdan QSPM digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk merumuskan dan memilih strategi yang tepat untuk dayasaing perusahaan. Dari hasil analisis matriks SWOT dirumuskan empat strategi SO, lima strategi WO,tiga strategi ST, dan dua strategi WT. Dalam diagram kartesius posisi perusahaan berada pada strategiWO. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan matriks QSPM, prioritas pemilihan strategi WO secara berturut-turutadalah penambahan feature-feature produk pelayanan jasa dengan bobot 4,75; memanfaatkan fasilitasinternet dalam kegiatan promosi dan pemasaran dengan bobot 3,88; memanfaatkan jaringan instansipemerintahan dan perusahaan lain secara maksimal dengan bobot 3,84; meningkatkan fasilitas pelayananloket-loket kios pembayaran online dengan bobot 3,77; dan membuat rencana kerja yang sistematis denganbobot 3,58.Kata kunci: strategi bisnis, analisis SWOT, matriks QSPMABSTRACTPaying attention to the tight competition between the company competitors, online transaction serviceprovider (i.e. electricity, water, and telephone), this is the thing which trigers to do concern about theimportance of strategy for improving competition ability of PT X. The distinguished way for improvingcompetition ability is by directly involving internal and external factors which are related to strenght,weakness, opportunity, and threat. SWOT (Strenght-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat) analysis and QSPM(Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) are used in this researh to determine and select the mostappropriate strategy in order to improve ability in competition. From the result of SWOT analysis, it isdetermined four strategies of S-O (Strenght-Opportunity), five strategies of W-O (Weakness-Opportunity),three strategies of S-T (Strength-Threat), and two strategies of W-T (Weakness-Threat). On the cartesiusdiagram, position of company’s competition ability is drop in W-O strategies. In accordance with QSPMmatrix, the priority in selecting W-O strategies is ranked from the highest to smallest weight. The priorityis respectively providing additional features of service product with weight 4.75; utilizing internet facilityfor promotion and marketing with weight 3,88; utilizing properly government and other companies’ networkwith weight 3.84; improving facility of payment point of online transaction with weight 3.77; and makinga sistematic work plan with weight 3.58.Key words: business strategy, SWOT analysis, QSPM matrix

Background: The connection between healthcare and tourism industries in many countries has created one of the largest service industries, i.e. "medical tourism industry". Medical tourism services bring significant benefits to the countries.  This study aimed to examine internal and external factors affecting Shiraz medical tourism industry as well as the potential capabilities of the industry.Materials and Methods: This applied research is a mixed method study using both qualitative and quantitative methods in 2017. The study population consisted of all organizations involved in the medical tourism industry. In this study, the deductive qualitative content analysis was employed to determine the internal and external factors affecting Shiraz medical tourism industry. Furthermore, the SWOT technique was used to analyze the data obtained from individual interviews and meetings with expert panels. Results: Internal and external factors were classified into 4 main themes (namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) and 10 sub-themes, of which five cases (FORMM) were related to internal factors (i.e. finance, production and products (operations), research and development, marketing and management) and five cases (STEPC) were associated with external factors including socio-cultural, technology, economy, political and competitive ones. Also, the matrix of the internal and external factors indicated an offensive zone for this industry. Conclusions: This industry can make use of the strengths and opportunities to confront the threats and negative points through identifying internal and external factors in order to enjoy benefits such as job creation and revenue gains. This final project is made to analyze the current business of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), by analyzing the internal and external factors of the Hotel business environment in the Airport City area of Kualanamu International Airport today. Then, it is expected to analyze the Hotel Business Model Strategy that is appropriate for hotel businesses in the Airport City Area of Kualanamu International Airport to be developed and the final step is to analyze the results of the implementation hotel strategies in the Airport City Area of Kualanamu International Airport in the face of competition in the current era of global competition. To achieve the objectives of this study, the proposed business strategy used by the author is SWOT Analysis, then proceed with the decision-making stage. The technique in question is the quantitative Strategy Planning Matrix (QSPM) technique. QSPM analysis tool is an analysis tool used to evaluate alternative strategic choices objectively according to internal and external factors that have been identified previously. Finally, the conclusion is based on the results of the analysis that has been done.

The research objective is to want to know what strategies are used for marketing rice in the agro-industry in Bojonegoro district. The hypothesis of this research is that it is assumed that rice marketing must have a marketing strategy for planning, pricing, and distributing. This research method using purposive sampling method. The research population taken as respondents is the agro-industry which sells rice throughout the year. In accordance with the criteria, the population is less than 100 people, so the sample is taken at 10% - 15%. Based on these opinions, the samples of this study were 5 rice agro-industries. The analysis used in this research is the SWOT analysis, which is a qualitative analysis carried out by examining internal and external factors. The conclusion from the calculation results of the SWOT analysis. Internal factors that affect the rice agro-industry business are utilizing the quality of the product with a good taste image and strategic location and adding packaging variants to develop rice marketing. External factors affecting agro-industry business are replacing manual technology with efficient technology to improve the quality of rice production. A good alternative strategy that can be done for the development of rice marketing in the rice agro-industry is the strength of opportunity strategy (Aggressive), which takes advantage of existing strengths to take advantage of opportunities. Based on the results of the research from SWOT analysis obtained thecoordinate point (1.47:2.03) which is the coordinate of the 1 (aggressive) quadrant,meaning that the corn snack business on the Agrobisnis Ibu Mandiri ProductionCooperative has the strength and opportunity Well, so that the self-reliant motherfarmer Group can harness the strengths and opportunities that exist to expand thenext corn snack business.

A survey was undertaken for SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats) analysis of rabbit production system in Thrissur and Malappuram districts of Kerala. Sixty rabbit units were selected randomly from the rabbit farmers of the two districts. The rabbit units were classified as small (1-10 doe unit) and medium (>10 doe unit). Thirty farms from each category were selected for SWOT analysis to assess internal and external factors affecting the viability and sustainability of rabbit farms in Kerala. The SWOT factors had Kendall’s ‘W’ value ranging from 0.005 to 0.017 and 0.006 to 0.069 respectively for the small and medium rabbit farms. Based upon outcomes, most important strengths and opportunities could be combined to formulate a functional strategy that can vitalize the rabbit production systems

The objectives of the study are: (a) to identify internal and external factors affecting Inspection Company in the technical inspection services industry; (b) to find the suitable and effective business strategy for Inspection Company in order to increasing sales performance in the strong competition environment. Data collection techniques required in this study is using primary data (information and data) (case studies and literature). The first step to be done in this research is the input stage, followed by the Matching Stage, and the last stage is the decision analysis. The Result of the research are: (a) recommended strategy for Inspection Company is product development; (b) the second recommendation of the business strategy is horizontal integration.

Rimbang is one of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of Clothing Industry that provides kids professional uniforms in Bandung, Indonesia. At present, as the growth of SMEs continues to increase and with the presence of marketplace platforms become one of the causes of the decline in product sales over the last three years, namely in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. This research was conducted to develop the most suitable strategy based on existing internal and external factors. The results of internal factors analysis demonstrate the strength of reputation and good relationship and weakness in the form of a product type that is seasonal and easily emulated. The results of external factors analysis show the opportunity of online sales and future integration and threats in the form of potential newcomers and higher competencies. Analysis results are used to formulate strategies using SWOT Analysis, TOWS Matrix and Porter's Generic Strategy. The proposed strategy is the Cost Leadership Strategy and Forward Integration as a strategy used to improve and develop existing business strategies and marketing strategies. These strategies are done by developing limited resources, implementing effective value chain activities and conducting product marketing directly to end consumers through online and offline sales.

An increase in hazardous materials transportation in Iran along with the industrial development and increase of resulted deadly accidents necessitate the development and implementation of some strategies to reduce these incidents. SWOT analysis is an efficient method for developing strategies, however, its structural problems, including a lack of prioritizing internal and external factors and inability to consider two sided factors reducing its performance in the situations where the number of internal and external factors affecting the risk of hazardous materials is relatively high and some factors are two sided in nature are presented in the article. Fuzzy SWOT analysis is a method the use of which helps with solving these problems and is the issue of employing an effective methodology. Also, the article compares the resulted strategies of the fuzzy method with the strategies developed following SWOT in order to show the relative supremacy of the new method.

Farmers participation is crucial for succeeding in the implementation of agricultural insurance in Indonesia. The purposes of this research are analyzing farmers' form and level of participation and also identifying some factors affecting farmer’s participation in agricultural insurance. The research was conducted in Curug Bitung Village, District of Nanggung, Bogor Regency involving 40 respondents. Primary data includes farmers characteristics, farmers participation form and farmers participation level as program beneficiaries. The data were processed using multivariable linear regression test. The results showed that the intensity of communication, age, education level, income level and length of stay did not significantly affect the participation level of farmers whose majority were at the level of no participation. Non-compliance occurs during program implementation. The form of participation shown by farmers in the program is varied.Keywords:  agricultural insurance, internal and external factors, farmers' participation ABSTRAK Partisipasi petani menjadi hal yang penting dalam rangka menyukseskan penerapan asuransi pertanian di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bentuk dan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam asuransi pertanian serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam program asuransi pertanian. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Curug Bitung, Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor dengan melibatkan 40 responden. Data primer meliputi karakteristik petani, bentuk partisipasi petani dan tingkat partisipasi petani penerima program. Data diolah menggunakan uji regresi linier multivariable. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas komunikasi, usia, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan dan lama tinggal tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi petani yang  mayoritas berada pada tingkatan tidak ada partisipasi. Ketidaksesuaian banyak terjadi selama penyelenggaraan program. Adapun bentuk partisipasi yang ditunjukkan petani dalam program bervariasi.Kata kunci: asuransi pertanian, faktor internal-eksternal, partisipasi petani
