Research has demonstrated that psychiatric diagnoses bear no relationship to certain important psychological variables, e.g., broad personality characteristics or even such clinically important issues as aetiology or prognosis (Frank, 1975). From that research, one dimension emerged which did yield information regarding aetiology and prognosis, viz., the process-reactive differentiation. As it seems important to examine this differentiation from a personological point of view, this review focused on the Rorschach performance of process and reactive schizophrenics. Essentially, the Rorschach studies suggest that process schizophrenics manifest more serious psychopathology cognitively than do reactives. Suggestions for further research were made.

Using complete enumeration (e.g., generating all possible subsets of item combinations) to evaluate clustering problems has the benefit of locating globally optimal solutions automatically without the concern of sampling variability. The proposed method is meant to combine clustering variables in such a way as to create groups that are maximally different on a theoretically sound derivation variable(s). After the population of all unique sets is permuted, optimization on some predefined, user-specific function can occur. We apply this technique to optimizing the diagnosis of Alcohol Use Disorder. This is a unique application, from a clustering point of view, in that the decision rule for clustering observations into the diagnosis group relies on both the set of items being considered and a predefined threshold on the number of items required to be endorsed for the diagnosis to occur. In optimizing diagnostic rules, criteria set sizes can be reduced without a loss of significant information when compared to current and proposed, alternative, diagnostic schemes.

Entrepreneurship is an important part of any economy today regardless of its level of development. However, not in all contexts do entrepreneurs operate in the same way, nor are they motivated by the same factors. This research seeks to identify possible coincidence factors and differences between entrepreneurs that operate in different contexts from the point of view of their historical evolution, the duration of these and the economic and social model applied in the countries. Specifically, a comparative study is carried out between entrepreneurs from the republics of Ecuador and Cuba considering various variables such as: personality characteristics (attitude to failure, risk, perseverance and innovation), use of the available time fund for work in entrepreneurship; Impact of the environment in relation to: government regulations, taxes, level of competition and availability of suppliers, as well as the structure of personal expenses projected in the short and long term that entrepreneurs assume as a stimulus for their actions. For the development of the study, a description of the behavior of the variables was initially made and later, by hypothesis testing, to verify differences and similarities between both populations. The study allowed us to identify common and divergent aspects between both populations analyzed. Similarly, it showed how differences in the administrative and financial environment in which entrepreneurs operate generate changes in their priorities and projections.

This article reveals in a new way the relationship of Abay's worldview with modern philosophy, pedagogy, psychology, cultural studies, sociology, political science; from a scientific and theoretical point of view, the harmony of the poet’s works with the works of religious educators of Islam is substantiated. Along with this, the article explores the image of the prototype in new literary works about Abai, the objectivity of the description of Kazakh life in them. Abaeology is a comprehensive branch of the study of the spiritual culture of the Kazakh people, so modern Abaeology is one of the relevant topics. A set of new studies is needed to study the classical literary heritage of Abay and its traditions from the point of view of the psychology of art. The article touches on the problems of the popularity of Abay's works among the foreign Kazakh diaspora, developing a program, the scientific and methodological foundations of studying Abay's work in their schools. New directions of research in this area and contemporary topical problems of Abaystudies are determined.

Handwriting analysis has wide scopes include recruitment, medical diagnosis, forensic, psychology, and human-computer interaction. Computerized handwriting analysis makes it easy to recognize human personality and can help graphologists to understand and identify it. The features of handwriting use as input to classify a person’s personality traits. This paper discusses a pattern recognition point of view, in which different stages are described. The stages of study are data collection and pre-processing technique, feature extraction with associated personality characteristics, and the classification model. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to present a review of the methods and their achievements used in various stages of a pattern recognition system.

As Michael Foucault had said that the human body is not really free; the concept of the body as well as the concept of the human sexuality in fact are ruled by and obey the great power behind them. A great narrative about the body and also the sexuality that has been agreed by societies, consciously or unconsciously has successfully dictated societies’ point of view in placing their body and sexuality. The concept of a male body that has been characterized by its perfunctory appearance, in the sense of not necessary to primp, actually is a great narrative that is considered as a true necessity. This topic is unique and interesting to study because Mister International pageant as the representation of world’s male masculinity offers the different great narrative masculinity concept that has been shackling the traditional masculinity concept of Indonesian society. This study will analyze the signs of masculinity shown in Mister International pageant as the ideal men’s quest in the world. The result of this study indicates that the ideal male masculinity constructed in Mister International pageant if viewed from the concept of traditional sexuality is a combination between the concept of femininity and the concept of masculinity that then brought out to a new terminology about the concept of masculinity called as metrosexual. The concept of masculinity constructed by this ideal men’s quest in the world, if examined by Herbert Marcuse’s point of view, actually is a concept uniformity of the world's ideal male body in one dimension. Furthermore, the great narrative behind this uniformed ideal male construction is a world’s major capitalists’ project to expand their market share, especially male cosmetics and clothes products. Keywords: Construction, Masculinity, Ideal Male Body, One-Dimensional Man.

At the stages of preparing materials for conducting a forensic linguistic examination and in the process of research, problematic issues of a procedural and methodological nature arise, which are debatable due to the lack of regulation and the absence of systematic scientific theoretical research in the field of linguistic examination. The analysis of expert practice indicates the need for further developments in the field of forensic linguistic expertise, based on which the author makes proposals for improving the methods of authorship research and the development of directions for further research in the field of semantic and textual research. The author focuses on the need to carry out developments in the field of linguistic expertise, taking into account not only the current practice of conducting forensic linguistic expertise. Also taking into account the generalization of new literary sources, the number of which is increasing and the data of which are of interest to linguistic expertise from the point of view of analyzing emerging in the field of modern linguistics problems, as well as the socio-political situation in the country. Attention is drawn to the fact that the judicial and investigative authorities appoint linguistic examinations at almost all stages of the consideration of cases/proceedings or the investigation of offenses, and it is also becoming increasingly popular in connection with the appeals of individuals/legal entities. The data of the conducted research can serve as the basis for the creation of new directions of research in the field of forensic linguistic examination and contribute to the development of its theoretical and methodological foundations.

Considerable rethinking of elementary school mathematics is occurring. Exciting new directions and emphases are being recommended. One major stumbling block, however, to a more appropriate mathematics program for K–8 students is computation.

Recent theoretical work by Peierls and by Jones has shown that the anomalous behaviour of bismuth is probably due to the critical nature of its electronic structure. One consequence of this is that the electronic structure of pure bismuth is very sensitive to the addition of small concentrations of other elements, and Goetz and Focke have shown that this sensitivity is reflected in the magnetic properties, while Thompson,§ more recently, has shown in the electrical properties also. Since the effect of such admixtures is essentially to vary the electronic structure of the bismuth, a study of their influence on various physical phenomena may be expected of yield information both about the electronic structure and about the mechanism of the phenomena. We have investigated from this point of view the nature of the temperature dependence of the susceptibility of bismuth, and also the periodic field dependence of susceptibility at low temperatures discovered by de Haas and van Alphen; in both cases, no very detailed interpretation of the results is at present possible, but it is to be hoped that the experimental data will be of use in guiding future theoretical development.
