A frame of reference is presented for describing the empirical laws of human learning and performance in terms of stimulus (S), organismic (O), and response (R) variables. The relationship of experimentation to the discovery of laws and the construction of theories is outlined, and some problems connected with the objective specification of S, O, and R events are discussed. Learning as a systematic concept is treated at two definitional (formal vs operational) and two theoretical (Hull vs Estes) levels. An analysis of the hypothetical associative factor (Hall's H or Estes' x) reveals that it is basically a mathematical transformation of selected independent variables. Finally, a set of criteria is proposed by which the utility of theories of learning and performance may be evaluated.

This research aims to find out how implementation of the financial compensation and performance job of PT Penggadaian (Persero) Branch  of Jambi. Next also to analyze implamentation and how the influence of financial compensation on performance job in PT Penggadaian (Persero) of Banch Jambi. This research uses descriptive method quantitative correlational research with the form that describes the relationship of independent variables with dependent variables. The research on the analysis tools using simple regression with hypothesis prove with statistical tests t. The results showed that a significant effect on performance financial compensation of performance job which are characterized by tcount > ttable and Prog. sig < α (0.05). While the correlation value i.e. 64% of these mean that have relationship very closely between financial compensation variables with variable performance job.

<p>Relationship of normal emotions resembling startle and surprise with cognitive and motor learning and performance and its influence on self-feel rating were studied among 100 normal subjects those included 50 male and 50 female. Start Mirror Drawing (Electronic) for cognitive and motor learning and performance , created conditions containing stimulus values close to startle and surprise and personal feel question, quantity: 1 for self-feel rating were used. It was assumed that the relationship might exist? The data analysis revealed a relationship (r =.900**, p <.001) effect of different emotions (r =.831**, p <.001) on normal function, performance and on self-feel rating, its relevance with modernity discussed.</p>

Tujuan penelitian - This study aimed to identify the relationship of work motivation and competence of teachers with performance. Desain/Metodologi/Pendekatan– The instrument used is a questionnaire about work motivation and competence of teachers as independent variables and questionnaires about the performance as the dependent variable. Questionnaire instruments work motivation, teacher competence and performance validated with Pearson Product Moment correlation formula (PPM), while reliability is measured by alpha cronbach instrument. Analysis of data using multiple regression analysis. Temuan– From the research found that: (1) There is a relationship between independent variables together with the dependent variable, where multiple correlation coefficient of (R) of 0.842, (2) The dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables with a contribution of 70.9%, (3) there is a relationship between work motivation with performance, there is a relationship between teacher competence with performance, but collectively have a significant relationship between work motivation and competence of teachers with senior high school teachers' performance Karya Sejati Palembang Keterbatasanpenelitian– Originality/value– Keywords: Work Motivation, Teacher Competency, Performance

PT Kresna Reksa Finance Jakarta can achieve its goals well if it runs the company according to its target by aligning its leadership style to performance-based compensation. The aim of this study is to determine whether the leader style when giving compensation can simultaneously improves company performance at PT Kresna Reksa Finance. Based on the research observations there are some problems that occur among some employees who feel their salary is low, also the allowances and bonuses are not appropriate, it needs serious management attentio. This study uses the personally administered questioneres method that is a face-to-face distribution questionnaire method to the respondent. This study illustrates that the value of leadership style towards compensation is in accordance with the performance that has been applied so that the company's target is exceeded. This can be seen from the equation of Y = 37,215 + 0.439X1 + 0.493X2 with the R-square of 0.78, which means that 78% of the independent variables of leadership style on the application of compensation are in accordance with performance and able to minimize the influence of other factors with a value of 22% other independent variables. The conclusion is that PT Kresna Reksa Finance Jakarta is appropriate and hopes to harmonize the relationship of leadership style, compensation, and performance of its employees

Abstract. Identifying pilot attributes associated with risk is important, especially in general aviation where pilot error is implicated in most accidents. This research examined the relationship of pilot age, expertise, and cognitive functioning to deviations from an ideal circuit trajectory. In all, 54 pilots, of varying age, flew a Cessna 172 simulator. Cognitive measures were obtained using the CogScreen-AE ( Kay, 1995 ). Older age and lower levels of expertise and cognitive functioning were associated with significantly greater flight path deviations. The relationship between age and performance was fully mediated by a cluster of cognitive factors: speed and working memory, visual attention, and cognitive flexibility. These findings add to the literature showing that age-related changes in cognition may impact pilot performance.
