Previous research on the discrepancy between real and ideal self-concepts has shown this gap to be related to neuroticism and various forms of emotional discomfort. Although authors have speculated about the relation between guilt and the real-ideal gap, no previous study has directly explored this relationship. The current study specifically examined the relationship of conscience-guilt to self-reported discrepancies between real and ideal self-concepts in 57 adults (24 to 38 yr. old). A significant positive correlation of .5 between these sets of scores indicates that greater real-ideal self-concept discrepancy tends to be associated with greater self-report of guilt.

This study was undertaken to (i) identify the relationship among personality traits, self-esteem and desire for fame and (ii) to explore the relationship of personality traits and self-esteem in prediction of desire for fame in TikTok makers. The sample was recruited through the snowball technique and consisted of 200 TikTok makers of Pakistan. The following internationally standardized scales were used: The Big Five Inventory, The Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (1965) and The Desire for Fame Scale. A significant positive correlation was found between (1) openness, (2) extroversion, (3) agreeableness, (4) conscientiousness, (5) self-esteem and (6) desire for fame. Additionally, neuroticism correlated negatively with the six mentioned variables; and self-esteem significantly predicted desire for fame. Females scored higher in extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and self-esteem; whereas males scored higher in neuroticism. Also, higher levels of self-esteem and desire for fame were found in those who had increased frequency of making TikTok videos and those who belonged to big cities. In conclusion, personality traits, self-esteem and desire for fame significantly correlate with each other in TikTok makers. Researchers, social media activists, students, psychologists, and counselors can benefit from the findings of study. Keywords: Personality Traits, Self-esteem, Desire for Fame, TikTok Makers.

Exploring the relationship among inorganic potassium fractions, yield and soil properties were important to know the best extractant for available K for cauliflower in the light textured soils of Rangareddy district. Surface soils in bulk were collected from thirty locations of Rangareddy district and pot culture experiment was carried out. Inorganic K fractions were analysed to evaluate the relative efficiency of extractants in determining the available K. Here, we have investigated the relationships among the soil properties, between soil properties and K uptake, between soil properties and yield, between K fractions and K uptake, between K fractions and yield. Organic carbon (r = 0.65**), available nitrogen (r = 0.60**) exhibited a significant positive correlation with NH4OAc (1N) extractable K. Available potassium extracted by NH4OAc showed a significant positive correlation with NaBPh4 (0.2 M) extractable K (r = 0.93**), 1M HNO3 (r = 0.55**) and also with citric acid extractable K (r = 0.67**). Among all the extractants 1N NH4OAc extractable K showed higher positive correlation with curd yield (r = 0.975**). It had a significant positive correlation with NaBPh4 (0.2 M) extractable K (r = 0.926**).

25 adolescent behavior-problem females were compared in terms of perceived self-ideal discrepancy with 12 female Ss who had no history of behavior problems. The mean discrepancy scores of the two groups were not different; however, greater variability was found for Ss with behavior problems. Some Ss with behavior problems rated the self higher than the ideal self. Thus, the relationship of self-ideal discrepancies to disturbance may be curvilinear; extremely high or low discrepancies may be indicative of maladjustment.

Abstract. The research discusses the relationship of self-concept and emotional intelligence with self-efficacy. The study involved 100 students universities on Jombang East Java to complete scales of Global Self-efficacy (GS-E), self-concept and emotional intelligence. The data results of measurements were analyzed with multiple regression. The analysis showed: 1) there is a positive relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence with self-efficacy, 2) there was no relationship between self-concept with self-efficacy, and 3) there is positive correlation between emotional inteligence with self-efficacy. Good development of emotional intelligence would increased of self-efficacy. The research findings are discussed in the perspective of developmental tasks of end adolescent. Keywords: self-efficacy, self-concept, emotional intelligence

The study seeks to examine the correlation between organizational learning (OL), knowledge management (KM) and organizational performance (OP) and to investigate the mediating role of OL between the relationship of KM and OP. The scope of the study was service and manufacturing sector organizations in India. The sample comprised of 118 respondents drawn from eight service and manufacturing sector organizations. The results revealed that OL is said to be partially mediating the relationship between KM and OP. The findings approve the assertion of previous studies ( Liao and Wu, 2009 ). It was also found that there is a significant positive correlation between KM, OL and OP.

This book promises a ‘radical reappraisal’ (Kates 2005, xv) of Derrida, concentrating particularly on the relationship of Derrida to philosophy, one of the most vexed questions in the reception of his work. The aim of the book is to provide the grounds for this reappraisal through a reinterpretation in particular of two of the major works Derrida published in 1967: Speech and Phenomena and Of Grammatology. However the study of the development of Derrida's work is the real achievement of the book as Kates discusses major works dating from the 1954 study of genesis in Husserl's phenomenology through to the essays on Levinas and Foucault in the early 1960's as part of his story of how Derrida arrived at the writing of the two major works from 1967.
