Abstract This article uses the calculus method and three-dimensional analysis system to photograph and analyse the action techniques of China's famous basketball players’ shooting training. Combining with the action technical parameters of outstanding male basketball players at home and abroad, this article analyses several main basketball players’ shooting training actions. Quantitative analysis of the calculus method was carried out in the technical link, and the problems existing in the basketball player's movement technology were found. Further, from the comparison of the physical fitness of excellent athletes, the reasons for the gap between the level of basketball in China and the world were discovered, and the physical quality of excellent male basketball players was established. Level evaluation models and standards provide a reliable guarantee for accurately grasping the development of athletes’ physical fitness, clarifying the status of each physical fitness in training, optimally controlling the basketball training process, and achieving scientific basketball training.

Dickens employs a range of class discourses to imagine possibilities of social being defined in terms of middle-class selfhood. This self seeks social inclusion represented as the achievement of the status of the gentleman or gentlewoman. The nineteenth-century shift of gentility from inborn quality to a quality of character that is earned through self-making in turn raises the possibility of mere self-invention and along with it the pursuit of self-interest at the expense of others. This problematic accounts for the repeated plot structure in which a protagonist is excluded from genteel society and can only re-enter it through earning his or her way in the world. In the late novels, Dickens focuses in particular on the way in which the desire for social inclusion is generated by gestures of exclusion and thus questions gentility as a viable category for defining social being.

We can face the fact that the factor of military power has been gaining increasing influence in the world politics. In this regard one of key tasks of international relations` studies is the exploration of armed forces` building of the countries in the dynamics. The creating a three-dimensional picture of these processes is difficult without the use of mathematical indicators, which show the key features and “narrow places” of the development and the usage of war machines’ potential of the key countries in the world arena. In this article the focal case of these studies with the usage of mathematical assessments is the Bundeswehr. The reason of the given choice is the changing German role and place in the Euro-Atlantic community and the world arena as the whole. Germany has been trying to become the status of full-fare world power. One of the inherent features of this process is the growing of the Bundeswehr`s potential that had begun in the second half of 2010-s and has had the perspective by the middle 2030-s. The article presents mathematical indicators that allow to show a more voluminous assessment of the progress of building the Bundeswehr's potential and German military budget (both in general and in terms of articles of spending and other specific indicators) in comparison with other largest NATO member states. The research paper also examines the indicators that make it possible to “highlight” the peculiarities of the Bundeswehr’s usage outside and inside the NATO zone of responsibility as well as issues the evolution of the foreign (allied) military presence on the territory of the FRG. The author tries to conclude the generalizations of German “war machine” development, basing on 11 mathematical indicators, 6 of which introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.

Goose, Roy & McCluskey, Kerry. Sukaq and the Raven. Illustrated by Soyeon Kim. Inhabit Media, 2017. Inhabit Media is a quality publisher and Sukaq and the Raven matches their usual exemplary quality of story and imagery. The story is a traditional legend from Inuit storyteller Roy Goose illustrated using Kim’s beautiful three-dimensional dioramas. This wondrous illustration style previously earned Kim the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator’s Award for her work You Are Stardust and it is easy to see how her artwork is award-winning. The depth created by the illustrations perfectly complements the story which follows Sukaq as he falls into his favourite bedtime story—how the raven created the world. As with many of Inhabit Media’s works, this story is distinctly Inuit while remaining understandable to everyone which makes it extremely useful in classrooms and libraries. The audience for this piece could range from pre-reading children to later elementary students as the full-page illustrations provide enough interest to any reader. Most young readers will need a reading buddy due to the amount of text and the complexity of some words. Artistically-minded readers may be intrigued by the three-dimensional diorama illustration style though educators or librarians may find this story to be a great introduction to a craft program involving dioramas. Parents may also find this story works well as a bedtime story due to the flow and lack of interrupting onomatopoeias (boom, beep, etc.). I highly recommend this book given how the illustrations and story combine to create a book that is pleasing to readers of many ages. Highly recommended: 4 stars out of 4 Reviewer: Lorisia MacLeod Lorisia MacLeod is an Instruction Librarian at NorQuest College Library and a proud member of the James Smith Cree Nation. Despite the great popularity of fitness around the world, it is still unclear what fitness is and how people understand it. The essence of fitness has gradually evolved from simple physical fitness to a cultural phenomenon. The second path of fitness development is from the physical health of a person reflected in a person’s readiness to do physical work to the desire to improve their own quality of life. That is why the aim of this study was to investigate in depth the essential characteristics of the fitness concept and the area of fitness. The study is based on 41 literature sources and scientific articles, 8 of which are in Russian and 33 – in English. The essence of the content of the fitness concept has been investigated and the hierarchy of concepts has been evaluated in different theoretical contexts, starting from the historical beginning of the fitness concept. Definitions were grouped in a broader and a narrower sense: 1) fitness as a set of attributes and abilities and 2) fitness as a way of life, lifestyle and quality of life. The essential categories of the fitness concept were compiled. The change of fitness area and its influence on the society was discussed. By summarizing the analysis of fitness definitions and evaluating fitness according to various theoretical aspects, it can be concluded that fitness is interpreted as sport competition fitness, as an implementation of a healthy way of life and as physical fitness or health-oriented physical fitness. Due to constant change and improvement of the body ideal sometimes it is complicated to participate in the process of improving health, also achieving it requires a lot of energy and time. People don’t understand where is the difference between healthy body and fitness body prepared for competition or commercial. Therefore the greater the beauty industry and fitness area becomes, the weaker becomes the human.

As a starting point for the reconstruction of pictures of places of creation of the world’s concepts, the monograph edited by T. Sadoń-Osowiecka “Place, space, landscape – educational signs” was chosen. Analyses of the works published in it was carried out on the basis of: location of the observer in an educational space, distance in the study conducted, applied techniques of recording the picture, and the preferred temporal distance in the recording of a picture. The said analysis indicated the role played in the understanding of the world by an individual through: (a) one’s association with “places” which give the status of tamed space; (b) valid and methodologically proper recognition of reality ‘from near’ and ‘from afar’, and treatment of these perspectives as mutually complementary; (c) the will not to eliminate from the pictures of the world “its” gloomy elements: the problems of school: hard situations of socially and culturally excluded people; marginalised places; (d) readiness to bear responsibility for the quality of being “among” people and “for” them, for the present and future of the life of their world.

According to the contemporary understanding, a child is an integral being, an active participant in his/her own education, a curious and competent being with diverse interests, capabilities, knowledge and understanding, and a person who, driven by an innate curiosity, explores the world surrounding him/her, and actively acquires knowledge. These new paradigms have influenced the revision of understanding a child and his/her childhood, which is not only a preparatory stage for the future, but the period of life that has its own values and culture. Childhood is a process that is contextualized, always in relation to a specific space, time and culture, and varies according to different conditions and cultures in which it occurs. And it is the status of a child, conceived by adults, that is reflected in the overall education of the child, thus becoming a decisive factor in determining his/her social and ethical identity. This paper discusses the basic attitudes relating to a child and his/her childhood, upbringing, development and education within family and institutional surroundings.

We propose a novel method for online misinformation analysis based on a Wittgensteinian approach. We found no previous work that use Wittgenstein’s early philosophy for misinformation analysis. The works of Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) are usually divided into two: the early and the later philosophy. Wittgenstein’s book Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus (TL-P) is regarded as his early masterpiece. The TL-P is concerned with the role facts play in the world. According to TL-P, the world is composed of facts and we connect with facts by our thoughts. Our thoughts picture the world and are expressed through propositions. The system for online content analysis, described here, is a descriptive tool to clarify the thoughts and propositions found within online content analysed. Web-based written non-graphical information (articles, commentary etc.) is analysed and then scored based on criteria designed to evaluate the information quality of the content. Our hypothesis is that when applied to Web browsers and online social media platforms, the rating produced by this information quality analysis system will help users discern content qualitatively and engage more analytically with other users.

Purpose: to reveal the features of the use of tactical actions by boxers of highly qualified women. Materials and methods: Theoretical analysis of information from the scientific and methodological literature and communication with the leading trainers of women in boxing made it possible to analyze the history of the development of women's boxing in the World, to determine the importance of tactical training for boxers and its content. Also during this research, we watched videos of the competitive activity of highly qualified female boxers in weight categories up to 51 kg. and up to 75 kg. Using the methods of pedagogical observation, chronometric observation and mathematical statistics made it possible to identify the peculiarities of tactics of competitive battle tactics in women boxers of high qualification. Results: At the present stage of the development of women's boxing, the world leader is the Russian team, the second is China, the third is India. Ukraine is not one of the top ten women's boxing teams in the World. Tactical training in women's boxing should be significantly different from the tactical training of male boxers. Women boxers of high qualification of lightweights can be related to tempo men, and women boxers of high qualification of heavyweights to gamers. However, it is difficult to related some women boxers of high qualification to any one of the listed types, since they are able to rearrange tactics during the match itself, if necessary. Conclusions: Modern tactical training in women's boxing is aimed at universalization, which is characterized by a variety of applied techniques and their frequent change. This fact makes increased demands on the quality of the technical training process in women's boxing.

Abstract Fused deposition modeling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing technology commonly used for three-dimensional printing. The screw rod is an important part of the extrusion nozzle in the FDM manufacturing. The technical parameters of the screw rod, such as the screw pitch, screw angle, groove width, and length-diameter ratio (or aspect ratio), etc., directly determine the speed of extrusion and the precision of modeling. To improve the printing speed and quality of FDM models, this work analyzed the influence of extrusion screw’s parameters on the extrusion flow rate and proposed the best parameters for the screw rod of the FDM process. The results of this work have a crucial significance on the modeling speed and accuracy of the FDM.
