Enterprise Management and Regulation of Economic Activity: The Case of InsuranceModern enterprise is functioning in a market space in which it is subjected to the whole network of intervention tools in the form of economic regulations. These regulations limit the freedom of its economic activities impacting the business models in use, its internal organization, management systems and, last but not least, its market value. Degree and strength of regulatory intervention is highly differentiated in various countries, depending on the cultivated social and economic model. It also varies depending on the area of economic activities in different groups of enterprises, according to the current perception of its systemic significance. Especially strong regulatory interventions are currently applied for financial institutions. It is because they are threatening the existence of the whole system via the systemic risk they are able to generate. The article explores principal challenges and issues facing the insurance operations and relates them to the enterprise management.

The article formulates the basic conditions that ensure effective management of the main activities of the enterprise; the purpose and tasks of management of the basic activity of the enterprise are defined; the classification of the information used in management of the basic activity of the enterprise is resulted; two groups of indicators used for the analysis of results of activity of the enterprise are considered; the structure of management of results of activity of the enterprise is resulted. The paper notes that modern enterprise management systems consist of a set of management systems based on a specific feature. The presented structure of management of results of activity of the enterprise reflects actions in connection with lack of programs of preparation and advanced training and system of material stimulation of workers. other problems that arise from this, reducing the efficiency of work. The proposed management system is universal in nature and includes a set of procedures, the implementation of which is an integral part of improving the efficiency of operating activities of the enterprise. The article highlights the components that characterize the effective use of the potential of employees of the enterprise. These conditions that the company must provide its employees to master advanced technologies, high-performance methods of complex and responsible work that meet the highest levels of the profession. The article proves that the problem of lack of planning should be solved first of all. The actions which the manager should carry out for successful achievement of the set purposes and tasks of the enterprise are considered. It is noted that forming competitive advantages, the company needs to constantly improve the internal processes of the enterprise, develop a system of communication with customers, work intensively on the development of digital technologies to ensure operational contact both within and with our partners. Based on the current state of the management system of the main business of the enterprise, measures are proposed to improve it.

Today, the modern conditions of economic activity constantly require competent financial planning and forecasting of economic activity of the enterprise. In countries with developed market economies, the improvement of tools and methods of financial planning and forecasting is constant and quite significant. Without financial planning, it is impossible to achieve the level of enterprise management, which ensures its market success, continuous improvement of capacity and social development of the team. No other type of planning can have such a general, global significance for the company, as finance covers all parties and areas of its activities without exception. The relevance of this work is to study the construction of plans and forecasts that allow the company to forecast and take into account current and future changes in the external environment, as well as adjust the internal factors of financial and economic activities for their development and further growth. The article examines the historical aspects of the emergence of financial planning and forecasting in enterprises, and defines the essence of planning (forecasting) as a management function. The paper highlights the types and functions of financial planning and forecasting, which significantly helps to understand the meaning of these concepts. The methodological aspects of the organization of financial planning and forecasting at the enterprise in making managerial decisions were also studied and the organizational and economic stages of financial planning and forecasting were determined. It is substantiated that the financial plan development is a logical conclusion of the enterprise business planning process as a whole and makes it possible to assess the net results of its management in the planning period. It is emphasized that the results of the financial plan are necessary to generalize information concerning the sources and time of flow of funds as well as the amount of these flows, their scope, meeting the demand for funds and their availability, as well as possible financial status during and at the end of the planning period. We analyzed the economic efficiency of financial planning and forecasting of the enterprise and highlighted methods for optimizing planning and forecasting in management decisions. It is proved that the company of interest can significantly improve its index number in the coming periods. It is concluded that the stability of the enterprise is achieved by efficient and rhythmic restructuring of the enterprise due to skillful management of the production assets and sources of their formation. Through planning or forecasting the enterprise’s activity is accompanied by optimal solutions and the right company profile, which contributes, to high financial performance.

Introduction. The article deals with the main traditional outbuildings of the Mordvinians, reported on their functional purpose in economic activity. The forms and types of outbuildings, as well as the main building materials used by Mordvinians are described in details. Their significance in the religious and ceremonial life of the ethnic group is shown. Materials and Methods. The research is based on traditional methods of ethnographic science, such as field observation, survey and interviews, and a comprehensive approach. Among the methods of historical science comparative-historical, historical-genetic, problem-chronological, structural-system were used. Among the general scientific methods of research logical, descriptive, narrative, generalization, classification and systematization were involved. To achieve the results of the study, the materials collected by the authors in the course of field surveys conducted in the Mordovian villages were mainly used. Results and Discussion. Traditional outbuildings were of great importance in the economic activity of the Mordovian ethnic group. According to their functional purpose, they can be divided into the following groups: for livestock and poultry (stable, chicken coop, stable, kalda), sanitary and hygienic (bath), warehouse buildings for storage of food, utensils, firewood, animal feed (barn, cellar, woodshed, hayloft), for processing of grain (sheep, riga, mill). Depending on the welfare and financial capacity of the family, the number of outbuildings was different. As a rule, the wealthier families had more outbuildings than the less wealthier ones. The main building material for the construction of these buildings was wood. Conclusion. Thus, the traditional outbuildings of the Mordvinians occupied an important place in its economic activities. At the same time, each of them had its own purpose and performed certain functions. Some buildings, such as a bath and a barn, had not only economic purpose, but also were the venue for a number of prayers and ceremonies. It is now ordinarily they have banya (bath-house), outdoor courtyard with standing in different places sheds, barn and cellar.

Subject. This article deals with the issues of determining the market value of the trading business, taking into account a number of characteristics. Objectives. The article aims to develop certain provisions of the methodology and practice of evaluating the business of trading organizations, namely, taking into account the additional risk of inventory feasibility when calculating the discount rate. Methods. For the study, we used a systems approach, and the cognition, and economic and analytical research methods. Results. The article presents a three-tiered classification of stocks and a definition of risk based on the criteria for dividing stocks by purpose, degree of implementation, and shelf life in accordance with the scale. Based on the classification, the article offers certain recommendations for determining the discount rate when evaluating trading organizations, aimed at taking into account additional risk. Conclusions. Various evaluation procedures within the framework of traditional approaches and methods in relation to trading organizations do not take into account risk specific to this type of economic activity. The proposed methodology for calculating the discount rate for trade organizations takes into account the features of their functioning.

Subject. The article addresses the specifics of shadow economic activities in reformed Russia in the context of systemic transformations. Objectives. We focus on determining the role of shadow economy in the reproductive process, identifying and understanding the specifics of underground economic activity of the Russian economy. Methods. The study rests on general scientific methods (scientific abstraction, unity of historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison and analogy) and special methods of cognition (monetary methods). We employ the systems and integrated approach. The official statistics, regulations, works of leading researchers on shadow economy expansion, resources of reference and legal systems like Garant and ConsultantPlus serve as the study's information base. Results. We present a retrospective rapid analysis of the extent of shadow economic activity in the domestic economy, establishing the relationships with the processes that take place at different stages of the country's development. We also reveal the specifics of shadow economy relations in Russia, factors that play a key role in expansion for a particular period, a shift to another form of shadow economy. The study characterizes the current period of development, assesses the impact of external shocks on shadow economy expansion. Conclusions. The current period is characterized by the digitization of shadow relations, the shift of corruption to the upper echelons of power, the continued outflow of capital abroad, and increased penalties for underground activities.
