Mutation BRAFV600E is highly specific for papillary thyroid carcinoma. It’s detected in 40-70% of all papillary thyroid carcinoma cases. Moreover this mutation is noticed in anaplastic carcinoma in 40-50%.This fact gives a chance to select patients and provide targeted therapy with multi-kinase inhibitors in cases of unresectable anaplastic carcinoma. The influence of BRAF V600E mutation for response to radioactive iodine therapy requires more evidence-based research. Existing methods for determining the BRAFV600E mutation have different accuracy, availability and cost. Other methodological aspects are also associated with the sample preparation of biological material, the quality of reagents, and the cross-validation of research results. In this review, on the basis of our own experience and literature data, the indications for determining the mutation of the BRAFV600E gene in clinical practice are refined, and a comprehensive comparative analysis of modern research methods has been conducted. This review is focused on a wide range of specialists of different types: oncologists, endocrinologists, radiologists, pathologists, and biologists.

Optimal crop nutrition is a significant factor in increasing agricultural vintage and quality of products. Zinc (Zn) is an immobile important micronutrient, which is taken up by plants in Zn2+ form to complete their life cycle efficiently. It plays a critical metabolic role in plants and is an important constituent of proteins and other large-molecules, and serves as structural and functional unit, or controlling cofactor for a wide range of enzymes. The Zn is needed in small and in appropriate amounts for plants main physiological processes to work normally. These processes play critical roles in photosynthetic activity of plants and forming carbohydrates, synthesis of protein, reproduction and seed development, growth, and disease protection. After Zn deficiency in plants, these physical functions are decreased, and plant health and productivity suffer greatly, subsequent in reduced production or even failure of crops and often bad quality of crop products. Plant Zn deficiencies occur on variety of soils and are severe due to a combination of symptoms like chlorosis, resetting, dieback and suppressed or irregular vegetative development. In addition, various crops require varying amount of Zn. So the knowledge regarding this is not up to date. The present review discusses the Zn importance in plants, its deficiency in soil and required level of Zn for crops.

Nowadays, there is a big demand on using small sized CNC machine tools, which have low price tag, wide range of implementations, low manufacturing costs and can be used for educational purposes. These machines can achieve casual manufacturing routines, like milling and drilling in applications, where there is no need for high speed performances and super quality of products. In this work, we proposed a model of CNC for these machines and analysed its components and efficiency. The model consists of three main layers: CNC system (application layer), ARM based microcomputer as CAN master and controller (connecting layer) and Servo-Drive Step Motors (actuating layer).

The production potential of an agricultural enterprise is a set of interacting production, labor and other resources at the disposal of this enterprise . The qualitative and quantitative parameters of these resources, as well as their degree of integration interaction, largely determine the production capabilities of an agricultural enterprise as an economic entity. At the same time , in our opinion , the production potential determines only the potential ability of an enterprise to produce goods or services , and therefore , in our opinion, it cannot be a fully objective indicator of its usefulness. The production potential of the enterprise can be fully realized, provided that its characteristics and its components meet certain parameters of the manufactured products. In the conditions of market competition, success can be achieved only if there is a high quality of the products produced. The production potential to a certain extent depends on the quality of products that are produced by the enterprise. The agricultural sector of the economy is labor-intensive, so the quality of manufactured products, and therefore the production potential of an agricultural enterprise, depends on successful motivation to work.

The choice of possible ways for machinery quality increase must be based on the investigation results of wear regularities and also on the experimental data obtained in the course of laboratory nature and production method use with the aid corresponding equipment use. The purpose of the work is updating methods and means for the estimate of tribo-technical unit operation parameters. Tribo-technical tests must reproduce a wide range of events taking place at different interactions of machinery surface layers with wear environment under different conditions of operation. The more trustworthy the estimated figures in the course of the experiments carried out, the larger potentialities for quality increase of products manufactured. To obtain reliable data the essential condition is the reproduction of conditions taking place in the course of the operation of the samples under investigation. The modeling of parts wear processes on the plants presented and reproducing wear mechanisms under conditions of operation allows revealing the peculiarities of a contact interaction, wear regularities and defining the efficient ways for parts life increase ensuring proper quality of products manufactured. The methods and equipment developed for tribo-technical parameter estimate allow characterizing more precisely the values of physical stress-strain properties of materials under investigation and sure forecasting the working capacity of friction units under specified conditions of operation.

Despite the wide range of publication opportunities in podiatric medicine, little is known about how podiatric authors select journals in which to publish or their perceptions of journals currently available. To investigate these issues, a survey of publication patterns and perceptions of full- and part-time academic staff members at podiatric medical schools in Australia was undertaken. Most of the papers by Australian podiatric medical faculty members have been published in “local” journals, such as the Australasian Journal of Podiatric Medicine (38%) and the British Journal of Podiatry (17%). However, an increasing number of papers are being published in JAPMA (14%). In addition, a large proportion of papers have been published in a variety of journals that are not specific to podiatric medicine, particularly in the areas of biomechanics and diabetic medicine. The number of publications per faculty member was associated with the highest qualification obtained, academic rank, and the number of years of employment in higher education. The most important factors in selecting the journal in which to publish were the journal’s inclusion in MEDLINE, the perceived prestige of the journal, and the quality of the journal’s peer-review panel and editor. OJSC “BSW – Management Company of the Holding “BMC” produces a wide range of carbon, high‑quality, alloyed and high‑carbon steel grades, among which a signifi ant share is peritectic grade steels. Basically, the steel of this group is used to produce rolled products intended for the manufacture of components for the automotive industry. The process of production and casting of these steels is characterized by the greatest instability and is often accompanied by rejects and forced sorting of products. This situation is typical for other metallurgical enterprises. Therefore, the search for technological solutions that ensure an increase in the yield while maintaining the existing productivity of metallurgical units is an urgent aspect of improving the technology of continuous casting of peritectic grade steels. At the same time, the main scientific and technical task is to obtain a stable quality of continuously cast billets, aimed at preventing and eliminating the formation of a number of characteristic defects, primarily cracks on the surface of continuously cast billets and rolled products. The search for methods and technological solutions to improve the quality of products made of peritectic grade steel is the goal of the ongoing research.
