This article is an attempt to define the relationship between Christianity in Nubia and the local cultures of the Nubian kingdoms of Nobadia and Makuria from the 6th to the beginning of the 16th century, using the inculturation criteria theory associated with the actualization of the Church within a particular culture in light of archaeological research. The mission of the Church must be realized within a specific community of the people of God as well as in its administrative structure and the local hierarchy. The Church’s task is to accomplish its sanctifying, prophetic and teaching mission, which is accomplished through the proclamation of the Gospel, the celebration of sacraments, funeral rites, and teaching of prayer practices. Due to lack of adequate resources, this Church’s prophetic task was omitted. The Church, as archaeological research shows, also contributed to social life and the development of the material culture of the inhabitants of the Middle Nile Valley.

Relations between Muslims and non-Muslims will often experience disruption / friction if not addressed wisely, especially in terms of social politics, the order of social life. In Islam, Religion and Politics two things are difficult to separate. This often becomes a polemic to produce many interpretations and frictions in various regions and majority Muslim countries. Interpretation of the Qur'anic verses relating to religious and political relations also has a variety of colors and patterns which in the end can also produce identity theory in the practice of life. This paper aims to look at the opinion of Ibn Atsur in terms of the relationship / relationship between Islam and non-Islam, in what way and practice how Muslims and non-Muslims can work together and coexist and in terms of what and how they should be separated. Writing that uses this character qualitative method tries to look at the data based on Ibn Atsur's interpretation in his book "al-Tahr r wa al-Tanwir" and is combined with his political attitude described in his books and scientific books which tell him about him in facing the political situation in Tunisia. In interpreting the verses relating to interfaith relations, Ibn Atsur looks more broadly giving freedom to non-Muslims. For example in interpreting Qs. Al-Mumtahanah verse 8-9 he said the reason for the prohibition of doing good to non-Muslims was hostility and in conditions of war "Religion" not other than that. Reasons other than religion cannot be justified in not doing good to non-Muslims and may do good to non-Muslims in all forms of goodness that are related to muamalah and relations between people. Even in terms of this flexibility politics also caused Ibn Atsur to face mass slander by being considered a supporter of the invaders for supporting dual citizenship in Tunisia and not at all suspicious of the French-Catholic colonialism when he appointed him Shaykh al-Isla Christian development in Tunisa. In other cases, Ibn ‘Ashur also displays a different attitude with other interpreters. In an interpretation of QS. Al-Maidah: [54], he said that it was not permissible to appoint Christian and Jewish leaders because of their religious differences. He added that making Jews and Christians as leaders could cause someone to get out of Islam (apostasy). Even in his political stance, Ibn Atsur once said that non-Muslims should not be made members of Shura or Majilis (Parliament, a type of DPR-MPR) on the grounds that they would never think of the religious interests of Muslims. Thus Ibn Atsur has an ambiguous attitude and changes in interpretation and progressive attitude by some scientists call him seeing the situation and the condition of the people he faces (dialectic).

The study of the national language is largely dependent on the study of the history of the people who speak the language. The people are the creators of their own culture and language as well as the creators of their own history. We study the history and culture of the people by learning the language. It is directly related to the study of the linguistic features of the dialects that exist in the language. As is known, everything that occurs in social life is reflected first and foremost in the vocabulary of the language. But over time, some words become consumed and gradually forgotten. Such words are mainly related to the material way of life of the people, but are also a rich source of information about the ethnos' history. This article discusses such words that are preserved in Uzbek dialects of Navoi region.

Abstract A constitution is adopted to regulate the relationship between political authorities and the people in a society. Traditionally, this relationship was very loose in Afghanistan; over time, however, as amirs sought to consolidate political and social authority over their society, the establishment of a constitutional framework became a priority for each new leader. This article chronicles Afghanistan’s state formation and constitutional history, beginning with Amir Dust Mohammad Khan’s state consolidation efforts in 1838, and considering all of the constitutions of the country beginning in 1923 continuing to the present. It details the central role both Islam and Afghanistan’s ethno-sectarian diversity have played in constitutional efforts throughout Afghanistan’s history and emphasizes the need for both to ensure a representative, inclusive society in Afghanistan.

This study is a study of the interrelationship of the book of interpretation of Faidl al-Rahman and Javanese culture. By using library research methods and linguistic approaches, this study tries to examine the relationship between the interpretation text and the local culture of the Javanese people which is allegedly the dynamic meaning and understanding of the Qur'an. Based on the structural linguistic theory of Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid, this paper reveals that the relation of Javanese culture in Faidl al-Rahman's interpretation is the significance of meaning to the reality of the people who receive the text so as to be able to explain the contextualization of the teachings contained in it. The implication of this study is the formation of a map of the interrelationships between interpretations and culture so that it can make text stagnation into a dynamic meaning in order to have a dialogue with the community and be easily internalized in social life.

Cultivating Democracy is the first study of its kind of the world’s largest democracy that shows how the values of republicanism are essential for successful democratic practice. In 1950, after independence, India constituted itself as a sovereign democratic republic. While democracy indicated the character of the vertical representative nature of the relationship between citizens and state, the term republic outlined the horizontal relationship of fraternity between people and an active engagement by citizens. The discussion of Indian politics in this book thereby attends to both its institutional form and its democratic culture and shows how the project of democracy is incomplete unless it is also accompanied by a continual cultivation of active citizenship of republicanism. This book is an anthropological study of the relationship of formal political democracy and the cultivation of active citizenship in one particular rural setting in India, studied from 1998 to 2013. It draws on deep ethnographic engagement with the people and social life in two villages, both during elections and in the time in between them, to show how these two temporalities connect. The analysis shows how an agrarian village society produces the social imaginaries required for democratic and republican values. The ethnographic microscope on a single paddy growing setting allows us to examine how the various social institutions of kinship, economy, and religion are critical sites for the continual civic cultivation of cooperation, vigilance, redistribution, inviolate commitment, and hope—values that are essential for democracy.

Changes are constantly present among us. The changes are a daily occurrence no matter in which area of life. They are something that moves humankind and causes its development. However, not all have the same attitude towards the changes. Some people look forward to, others avoid them, some joy to them, others avoid to them, some fear into them, while others rejoice changes, some see opportunity in them, some see danger from them. Whatever is the relationship of individuals to change, everyone must face them someday. The change management has no formal structure, a pre-prepared plan, but it takes place spontaneously and the reactions occur in a single place. He is an unpredictable process. The change management plan is designed to cause changes to: - Processes - Organizational structure - The people - Strategies All undertaken activities for implementing the changes ultimately reflect the above categories. In addition, the changes can also can be divided into episodic vs continuous change. Another dividing is a divide of Continuous Organizational changes in two scales: radical - incremental and core - peripheral. A common reaction to almost all people of change is fear. Fear of the unknown cause’s people initially resists resistance. However, over time and after undertaking certain activities, the changes are accepted as a necessity.

Abstract This study aimed to investigate the image of Beith Hanoun village as embodied by various Palestinian novelists in order to understand this image and to shed light on its significance and role. This is because various Palestinians novelists intended to highlight multiple aspects of life in this Palestinian village. This study revolve around four key domains: the title, the geographical space of Beith Hanoun , various models of the struggle of the people of the village and its resistance , and the features of social life in the village. Also, the study sought to disclose the means of artistic formation employed by the writers to build their stories such as : monitoring the events , persona of the novel , the elements of language and narrative such as: employment of consciousness , the association of ideas , and recall , and the two types of dramatic dialogue, both internal and external, and the use of heritage. These techniques, in congregation, contributed to convey the experiences of novelists as well as to embody their humanistic visions. The study concluded that the various novels that tackled Beith Hanon depicted all its dimensions and categories. They also revealed the relationship between the people of Beith Hanon and their land; their love and affection to it. The novelists were successful in determining the settings of their novels in ways which contributed to the building of events, persona, narrative, and dialogue. The novelists combined direct narrative which is based on portraying and analysis with the awareness stream which expresses the content through conscious persona. The language of the novels was characterized with plainness, simplicity, and clarity, and it bypassed extensive use of local and humble language with an occasional tendency to employ indicative poetic language in ways that developed events and revived distinctive situations to depict a holistic picture of living reality.
