This article describes a study conducted to determine the effects of long duration, random vibration—characteristic of low-altitude high-speed (LAHS) flight aircraft—on human performance, physiological, biodynamic, and tolerance responses. Ten subjects experienced 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20 RMS g with a shaped power spectral density from 1 to 12 cps while engaging in LAHS control tasks. Simulation runs were of 5 hours duration, with the centermost 4 hours under dynamic conditions. Results of this experiment are related to those of other studies which had the same general objectives in order to provide a brief review and summary about what is known regarding human capabilities for LAHS flight.

The vibration model of moving membrane with variable density distribution is established, and the density distribution of the moving membrane varies along the lateral direction. The transverse vibration differential equations of moving membrane are established based on D’Alembert’s principle and discretized by using the differential quadrature method (DQM). The relationships of the first three dimensionless complex frequencies between dimensionless speed, density coefficient, and tension ratio of the membrane are analyzed by numerical calculation. The effects of the density coefficient and the tension ratio on transverse vibration characteristics of the membrane are investigated. The relationship between density coefficient and critical speed is obtained. The numerical results show that the density coefficient and the tension ratio have important influence on the stability of moving membrane. So the study provides a theoretical basis for improving the working stability of the membrane in the high-speed printing process.

Linkage can realize complex motion law, butunder the condition of running at high speed, institutions, thedynamic elastic response of not only make the institutions of trajectorydeviation, also can cause fatigue failure. In this paper, we study the basiccharacteristic of the four-bar linkage, affect the motion law of severalparameters was analyzed.

The sound source of violin is string vibration. By the stick–slip friction action between bow and string of violin, string and bridge form a complicated vibration system. The interaction mechanism of bowstring is very intricacy. In this paper, through theoretical analysis and experiment, the vibration behavior of violin string is investigated. We measured the vibration images of bowing and plucking violin string on a high-speed photography optical platform and got two different character of string vibration, including vibration displacement, velocity and space trajectory of the mark point on string. By comparing the displacement curves of the different points among on string, the variety of the ratio of positive process time to negative one of vibration sawtooth waveform are studied, and also the formation process of string vibration enveloping curve. On this basis, the Helmholtz motion of string vibration which is presented at 1862 is studied.

Dynamic performance of high speed dynamic balancing machine directly affects the accuracy and safety of dynamic balancing machine. ANSYS 12.0 was used to establish the frame structure model in this paper. The four models of dynamic balancing machine were calculated respectively. The calculation results show that additional stiffness can greatly improve the natural frequencies of dynamic balancing machine. In addition, as the base is large, we can ignore the influence on natural frequencies caused by the base.

Making use of long-term transverse vibration monitoring data of DaShengGuan Bridge, the early-warning method of train running safety of the high-speed railway bridge is established by adopting principal component analysis (PCA) method. Firstly, the root mean square (RMS) of the transverse acceleration of the main girder is used as the monitoring parameter for the train running safety. The correlation model between the RMS values measured from different positions is further adopted as the evaluating model for the train running safety. Finally, the effects of the environmental changes on the evaluating model are eliminated using the PCA method and the warning index for the train running safety is further constructed. The analysis results show that the correlation between the RMS values of the accelerations from different measuring positions on the main girder can be analyzed by a quadratic polynomial fitting model. The PCA method can effectively remove the environmental effects on the quadratic polynomial fitting model. The proposed warning method provides a good capability for detecting the abnormal changes of the measured transverse accelerations and hence it is suitable for early-warning of the train running safety.

The paper took dish-style separators spindle system as research object, established a finite element dynamic model for spindle system based on rotor dynamic theory, and then obtained vibration characteristic of spindle system considering gyroscopic effect influenced on critical velocity. The result shows that gyroscopic effect decreases the first and second order eddy frequency of spindle system by 36.2%; spindle rotating velocity meets the design requirements for a flexible shaft. The research result indicates that the method in this paper is available, and has a guide for deeper research on vibration characteristic of high speed rotation system, will reduce research expenditure and test time.
