Software development and the implementation of IT industry products are usually a very complicated and complex process. In recent years, software requirements' nature and complexity have changed dramatically, as have user demands for cost, performance, and quality. These three parameters can be considered key, and keeping them at an appropriate level for consumers is possible only through optimal design using well-established software development methodologies. The search for ways to optimize labour and financial costs leads managers worldwide to the need to use in practice a variety of techniques and approaches. With this approach, the scientific and economic substantiation of the advisability of choosing one or another organizational and financial mechanism for organizing a team of developers and marketers becomes especially important. The authors of the article studied Dynamics of export growth of Ukrainian IT products, the relationship between the IT product market elements, the main and auxiliary stages of creating an IT product. For the development and promotion of IT products, the authors proposed a methodology for iterative software development based on prototyping, using elements of the SCRUM system, which was tested at a private Ukrainian IT company. The modified version of the agile development system proposed in the article showed promising results in practice, both IT company managers and specialists positively assessed the experience of its use. Based on the already proven technology of agile development, this technique was able to add some mechanics that made it possible to neutralize several negative factors inherent in other approaches.

This paper establishes a new object-oriented HIS modeling mechanism and method based on UML. For HIS development, first establish a concise and accurate model, and it is the key to the software development. It can make the developers grasp the global understanding of the whole system and the relationship between its related parts, and can prevent people prematurely get into the details of the various modules. It has a decisive influence on various aspects of the application system such as cost, performance, flexibility, security, maintenance and so on.

There is no current theory that explains the process of a fathers’ bonding with their infants born prematurely. Through meta-synthesis of 19 qualitative studies, we developed a conceptual framework to illustrate how fathers perceive the relationship with their premature infant formed over the first 18 months of life. It details the contextual factors that contribute to that process. Findings reveal a complex process comprised of five stages, derived from five core themes and related subthemes. Fathers progress through five sequential stages to establish their role as fathers and form emotional connections with their child. Stages include: (a) feeling alien and lacking emotional connection to the infant, (b) caregiving engagement and claiming the role as a father, (c) claiming the infant as their own, (d) adjusting to having the infant home, and (5) normalizing family life. This conceptual framework can inform future research and clinical interventions designed to foster father−infant bonding.

Software development projects have undergone remarkable changes with the arrival of agile development approaches. Many firms are facing a need to use these approaches to manage entities consisting of multiple projects (i.e. programs) simultaneously and efficiently. New technologies such as big data provide a huge power and rich demand for the IT application system of the commercial bank which has the characteristics of multiple sub-projects, strong inter-project correlation, and numerous project participating teams. Hence, taking the IT program management of a bank in China as a case, we explore the methods to solve the problems in multi-project concurrent development practice through integrating the ideas of program and batch management. First, to coordinate the multi-project development process, this paper presents the batch-based agile program management approach that synthesizes concurrent engineering with agile methods. And we compare the application of batch management between software development projects and manufacturing process. Further, we analyze the concurrent multi-project development practice in the batch-based agile program management, including the overlapping between stages, individual project’s activities, and multiple projects based on common resources and environment to stimulate the knowledge transfer. Third, to facilitate the communication and coordination of batch-based program management, we present the double-level responsibility organizational structure of batch management.

Abstract In the Emirate of Transjordan, the interwar period was marked by the emergence of the Melkite Church. Following the Eastern rite and represented by Arab priests, this church appeared to be an asset from a missionary perspective as Arab nationalism was spreading in the Middle East. New parishes and schools were opened. A new Melkite archeparchy was created in the Emirate in 1932. The archbishop, Paul Salman, strengthened the foundation of the church and became a key partner of the government. This article tackles the relationship between Arabisation, nationalisation and territorialisation. It aims to highlight the way the Melkite Church embodied the adaptation strategy of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches in Transjordan. The clergy of this national church was established by mobilising regional and international networks. By considering these clerics as go-between experts, this article aims to decrypt a complex process of territorialisation and transnationalisation of the Melkite Church.

During the software development process, the decision maker (DM) must master many variables inherent in this process. Software releases represent the order in which a set of requirements is implemented and delivered to the customer. Structuring and enumerating a set of releases with prioritized requirements represents a challenging task because the requirements contain their characteristics, such as technical precedence, the cost required for implementation, the importance that one or more customers add to the requirement, among other factors. To facilitate this work of selection and prioritization of releases, the decision maker may adopt some support tools. One field of study already known to solve this type of problem is the Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) that uses metaheuristics as a means to find reasonable solutions taking into account a set of well-defined objectives and constraints. In this paper, we seek to increase the possibilities of solving the Next Release Problem using the methods available in Verbal Decision Analysis (VDA). We generate a problem and submit it so that the VDA and SBSE methods try to resolve it. To validate this research, we compared the results obtained through VDA and compared with the SBSE results. We present and discuss the results in the respective sections.

The concept of a high commitment work system (HCWS) has mostly been used in the West to study the relationship between a firm's work systems and organizational performance. In this paper, we introduce a preliminary measure of HCWS in China based on the definition of Baron and Kreps (1999). In study 1, we tested the measure by surveying 442 employees in China's information technology (IT) industry. In study 2, we re-tested the same measure from the perspective of human resource (HR) executives in 126 foreign-invested companies. The analyses not only provided some evidence for the construct validity of this preliminary measure of a high commitment work system, but also produced some interesting results that can only be understood with regards to the history and institutional backgrounds of Chinese organizations.

The implementation of customs control occupies a significant share of the activities of customs officers. Customs control procedures make it possible to identify customs violations in a timely manner, to ensure the content of measures aimed at preventing customs offenses, reveals the possibility of identifying shortcomings in the work of customs officials who are responsible for a particular area of work. In addition, the customs control procedure reveals not only the shortcomings in the work of certain parts of the customs, but above all, establishes the level of compliance with the principles of customs control and performance of its functions. This thesis is based on the fact that in case of violation of these segments there is a certain area of activity, which usually acts as a zone of customs violations. At the same time, customs control helps to improve the quality of document flow and provides an opportunity to form more realistic information flows for management decisions. At the same time, customs control procedures provide an opportunity to determine the relationship between the elements of the organizational mechanism, to establish at what stage is the duplication of functional responsibilities of responsible persons, and on this basis to decide on its improvement in the future. However, these advantages of customs control are partially offset by a number of negative factors that have some impact on the effectiveness of the procedure itself. There are professional and scientific discussions about the content of negative factors influencing customs control procedures, among which the leading role is given to the shortcomings in the law-making process. Existing problems indicate the feasibility of conducting research in this area. The article highlights the existing problematic factors influencing the customs control procedures, reveals the legal regulations for their implementation and determines the content of the principles and functions that customs officers are obliged to adapt during their adaptation. Attention is paid to the expediency of expanding the functions of the customs control procedure, the advantage of such changes is outlined. The author's position of content of conceptual categories «customs control», «customs control procedure», «organization of customs control» with the substantiation of the chosen approach is offered. The specific features of the organization of the customs control procedure are revealed, the main tasks are determined and the directions of its improvement are established. The author's position on the expediency of choosing both legal and human factors in the development of measures to improve the customs control procedure is given. The relationship between the qualification level of the executors of control actions and the effectiveness of the customs control procedure is substantiated.
