The place and significance of a person’s aesthetic attitude to the world for the formation of future officers based on the experience of education and upbringing in military educational institutions of pre-revolutionary Russia are considered in the article. The role of various types of art in the practice of educational work, primarily in the cadet corps of imperial Russia, is shown. Various types of documents and instructions of those years have become the basis for the analysis. The directions of the aesthetic education in cadet corps, techniques and methods used by mentors for involving students in the activities related to the personality aesthetic formation are regarded. The article shows that the result of the analyzed practice of the educational work of those years was training educated personnel for the army and navy, which can be used in modern conditions.

Schopenhauer explores the paradoxical nature of the aesthetic experience of the sublime in a richer way than his predecessors did by rightfully emphasizing the prominent role of the aesthetic object and the ultimately affirmative character of the pleasurable experience it offers. Unlike Kant, Schopenhauer’s doctrine of the sublime does not appeal to the superiority of human reason over nature but affirms the ultimately “superhuman” unity of the world, of which the human being is merely a puny fragment. The author focuses on Schopenhauer’s treatment of the experience of the sublime in nature and argues that Schopenhauer makes two distinct attempts to resolve the paradox of the sublime and that Schopenhauer’s second attempt, which has been neglected in the literature, establishes the sublime as a viable aesthetic concept with profound significance.

Unity is one of the fundamental tools for social security in human life and Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon are not excluded. The present study aimed at identifying the main roles and Educational needs of Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon in bringing about Intellectual unity. The descriptive analytical approach was used as a research methodology. The research has come up with the following findings: The spread of misconceptions among individuals is the main cause of weak and limited results of educational work. Due to this, the relationship between those institutions and the society in its formal framework remains negative. The Islamic Educational institutions in Cameroon have been playing an important role in the service of religion and society in order to preserve peace and unity, but despite its tangible achievements they still face challenges in some aspect, such as academic challenges, scientific developments, and Educational supervision, which were identified as obstacle to functional integration. In conclusion, it is recommended to develop a strategic and effective programs in which all the Islamic Educational institutions of Cameroon are involved in order to erase the misconceptions causing intellectual disunity. These should involve dissemination of pure Islamic values, modern technical and professional educational courses, besides promoting solidarity, religious and cultural cohesion in order to address the diverse challenges of the enemies of religion and society.

The purpose of the article is to compare the definitions of a stylistic device with modern philological ideas about the text and the image of the author as the main subject of cognition of reality in a feature. The methods of structural poetics make it possible to separate the stylistic means and methods as functionally different units of the artistic speech and the language of the writer. There is a steady connection between the worldview of the writer, their “image of the author” and their style. Autological and metalogical stylistic means are equally important for creating both an artistic and a non-artistic image (journalistic, scientific, everyday). Artistic means and techniques perform fundamentally different functions. Artistic means of image expressiveness contribute to the aesthetization of speech. Stylistic techniques organize the processes of meaning generation, preservation and transmission of meanings. The text records and reproduces artistic thinking, typical for this very writer, a set of ideas about a human, landscape, interior, ways of action and other classes of images. The artistic style is the same as the style of thinking, a level speech style of reflecting the perception of reality. The style can be adopted, it can be imitated and, thus, one can understand how the author thinks, what their manner of the aesthetic transformation of reality, forms of perception, is. The stylistic forms of the same author are reproduced from work to work, regardless of the plot and ideological content. To explain how the technique works is to identify the ways of the artistic thinking about the world (images). The stylistic device is closely connected with the intellectual book culture of society.

Diniyah education has been implemented by all educational institutions in Indonesia, starting from the lowest level, namely SD/MI to SMA/MA. Initially this diniyah education was implemented in Islamic boarding schools during the month of Ramadan. The aim is to foster morals, character, and strengthen worship for students during the month of Ramadan. The purpose of this study was to identify the role of diniyah education carried out in the world of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is a literature study method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the role of diniyah education can be measured through 4 things, namely increasing student religiosity, developing sustainable education and in accordance with the development of the times, being patient with calamities, and increasing husnuzon attitudes in students.

The author studied role of Metropolitan Archbishop Andrei Sheptytskyi in the development of musical culture of the Ukrainian Diaspora during the twentieth century Emphasis is made on the following aspects of the Metropolitan Archbishop’s activity: development of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the world, his visits to different countries, development of the system of spiritual educational institutions, support of religious educational institutions, establishment of scholarships for musicians who have received education abroad, participation in processes of church singing development. The article highlights the celebration in honor of the Metropolitan Archbishop and honoring his memory with the participation of musicians from around the world. This paper examines the concept of open educational resources developing in the world of education and libraries and the application of OER development research results to the IAIN Curup library. The problems were how the limitations of the OER and the models developed were, how was the development carried out by the IAIN Curup library, and how the application of the OER model developed in the IAIN Curup library was applied. The method used in this scientific paper is to explain the OER concept based on several sources, both articles and books. Another method is to describe the results of interviews with research subjects related to the application of OER at the IAIN Curup library. The results are a conceptual framework generated from some articles and books as well as an assessment of the application of OER in the IAIN Curup library. The form of OER service is a form of business development to provide the role of information providers in the world of education which must always be maintained and developed by educational institutions by utilizing technology. Meanwhile, the application of OER in the IAIN Curup library is still not optimal due to several constraints both internally and externally.


The article analyzes the role of free choice disciplines in the formation of universal or functional competencies, which are also called soft skills. It has been proven that mastering soft skills ensures both personal success in life and professional implementation, as well as further career growth of a modern graduate of a higher educational institution. Based on the analysis of scientific sources, the main approaches to defining the essence and classification of soft skills in the works of both domestic and foreign scientists are determined and characterized. The publication analyzes and summarizes the ways of forming soft skills among students in the practice of higher educational institutions of Ukraine. Among them: the creation of a special educational environment, the restructuring of the educational process, which is dominated by such types of learning as project, problem-based, etc.; variety of forms and methods of teaching; extracurricular system, etc. It has been proven that a cycle of selective disciplines or author's courses plays an important role in ensuring the formation of soft skills. A significant place among them is occupied by the course "Pedagogy of Success", which in the 2020-2021 academic year was chosen by applicants for the first (bachelor's) level of higher education. The course is aimed at increasing the productivity of independent educational work and a positive attitude towards it among students of higher educational institutions, equipping them with strategies of self-esteem, the formation of a positive "I-concept"; effective distribution of time (time management); search, evaluation and information processing; active reading; improved memorization; submitting your own educational achievements; communication, ways to ensure personal work ability, etc.

The article examines such forms of educational cooperation between Russia and China as participation in the activities of the SCO and BRICS Network Universities and the creation of joint educational institutions. The authors have carried out an analysis of educational models of the SCO University and determined the role of the basic Russian and Chinese universities in the implementation of the priority areas of training specialists for the SCO member countries. Educational models, priority training areas planned for implementation at the BRICS Network University, as well as the universities – members of the BRICS branch of the Russian and Chinese sides have been described. The paper dwells on the issue of joint educational institutions in China: the definition of joint institutions used in Chinese regulatory documents has been given, a statistical analysis has been carried out of China’s joint institutions created together with foreign universities. The educational models of four joint educational institutions of Russia and China operating on the territory of the People’s Republic of China are studied. The conclusion was made about the role of Russia and China in the development of the world educational space and the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in creating joint educational institutions.

Введение. Эпоха глобализации и расширения межкультурной коммуникации формирует новые вызовы и ставит их на разрешение ученым, осуществляющим свои изыскания в различных научных областях. Актуальной проблемой гуманитаристики является описание национальных картин мира посредством моделирования их фрагментов. В лингвистике особую значимость сегодня имеет изучение вербальных средств объективации концептуальных смыслов. В числе последних выделяются поэтические тексты. Их эстетическая направленность позволяет исследовать в качестве лингвокультурологических и когнитивных средств образы, присутствующие в этих текстах. Цель – исследовать роль образных символических средств в интерпретации фрагмента китайской картины мира, связанного с осмыслением образа бамбука в древних поэтических текстах. Материал и методы. Материалом исследования послужили поэтические тексты древних китайских авторов. В качестве единиц выступили языковые средства, воплощающие один из наиболее распространенных в китайской лингвокультуре образов ‒ образ бамбука. Основные методы исследования ‒ контекстологический и лексико-семантический. Результаты и обсуждение. Особенности биологического строения бамбука и разноаспектные возможности его применения в жизни носителей китайского языка определяют богатейший образный потенциал лексемы-номината. Включенность данной лексемы в широкий контекст значительно обогащает процесс смыслопорождения. Языковые средства, объективирующие толкование образа бамбука в китайской лингвокультуре, в текстовой перспективе получают возможность своей концептуальной интерпретации. Последняя развертывается на основании рассмотрения символических компонентов смысла, вписанных в национальную картину мира на уровне ее фрагментов. Направления символизации значения языковых единиц, номинирующих образ бамбука, выявляются путем рассмотрения речевой структуры древних поэтических текстов китайских авторов. Заключение. Ключевыми проявлениями символичного значения образа бамбука в китайской лингвокультуре можно назвать варианты интерпретации данного образа как символа высокой нравственности, чистоты, покоя, гармонии и умиротворенности. Такое символичное толкование не противоречит основным догмам китайской философии, в его основе лежит ассоциативная перекличка, возникающая в сознании носителей языка, как результат сопоставления свойств растения и характеристик человека. Introduction. The modern era of globalization and the expansion of intercultural communication creates new challenges and puts them to the solution of scientists carrying out their research in various scientific fields. The actual problem of the humanities is the description of national pictures of the world by modeling their fragments. In linguistics, the study of verbal means of objectifying conceptual meanings is of particular importance today. Among the latter, poetic texts stand out, the aesthetic orientation of which makes it possible to investigate the images present in these texts as linguoculturological and cognitive means. Aim and objectives. Explore the role of figurative symbolic means in the interpretation of a fragment of the Chinese picture of the world associated with the interpretation of the image of bamboo in ancient poetic texts. Material and methods. The material of the research is poetic texts of ancient Chinese authors. The units are linguistic means that embody one of the most common images in Chinese linguoculture – the image of a bamboo. The main research methods are contextological and lexical-semantic. Results and discussion. The peculiarities of the biological structure of bamboo and the diverse possibilities of its use in the life of native Chinese speakers determine the richest figurative potential of the nominated lexeme. The inclusion of this lexeme in a broad context significantly enriches the process of generating meaning. Linguistic means that objectify the interpretation of the image of bamboo in Chinese linguistic culture, in the textual perspective, get the possibility of their conceptual interpretation. The latter unfolds on the basis of considering the symbolic components of meaning inscribed in the national picture of the world at the level of its fragments. The directions of symbolizing the meaning of linguistic units nominating the image of a bamboo are revealed by considering the speech structure of ancient poetic texts of Chinese authors. Conclusion. The key manifestations of the symbolic meaning of the image of bamboo in Chinese linguistic culture, judging by the results obtained, can be called the options for interpreting the image of bamboo as a symbol of high morality, purity, peace, harmony and serenity. Such a symbolic interpretation does not contradict the basic dogmas of Chinese philosophy; it is based on an associative roll call that arises in the minds of native speakers as a result of a comparison of plant properties and human characteristics.
