The family is the first context where the human being learns to socialize and where educational models are installed. The mother and father are generally the main figures responsible for these learnings and are in charge of discipline and parenting strategies derived from parenting skills. There are risk factors that compromise these parental competencies in adults, such as the absence of significant attachment links, conflictive relationships in the environment, parental stress, and difficulty in understanding children´s needs, resulting in inappropriate parenting styles and harmful practices that trigger mistreatment and violence in the family environment. The bond of attachment is another factor that favors parental competencies, since it is oriented to attention, basic care and how to respond to the infant´s needs. In such a way that the proposed psychoeducational program to strengthen parental competences and attachment aims to be a support for parents with difficulties in their parental competencies, providing adequate resources in their parental role and that strengthens the bond of attachment. The proposed methodology is a qualitative approach with a pre-test – post-test desing with a single group and the selection of participants through non-probability convenience sampling.

This bibliometric study aims to map the value education model research to provide direction for future research, especially in education and teaching. It is essential because value is the core of education. After all, in addition to opening the window of knowledge, education also has a role in transferring values for internalizing them in the education model. Therefore, conducting studies related to the concept and model of value education is essential for an educator. The focus of this study is to examine the bibliography related to the value education model based on the Scopus database in the period 2011-2020. This research took four stages; first: using Publish or Perish application to search articles from Scopus database. Second, performing filter by setting bibliographic criteria to be analyzed. Third, checking and completing articles' metadata through the EndNote reference manager application. Fourth, perform bibliometric analysis through the VOSviewer application. Through these four stages, seven analyses were explored; the trend of publications related to the value education model, analysis of the keywords used, collaboration of authors, citation patterns, institutions, and countries that were contributors to the study of the value education model, and abstract analysis. The results of this exploration conclude that there is a tendency for academics to pay less attention to the value education model when viewed from the number of publications related to the topic. The contribution of this research can be expected to provide direction for other researchers in conducting research and development related to educational models.

Disinformation is a serious problem for democratic systems in open societies. It is a global phenomenon that must be studied from different approaches and the educational dimension is one of the most relevant. It is necessary to know what educational models have been developed to empower citizens against disinformation. A systematic review of the literature (2011-2020), following the PRISMA protocol, was carried out by analyzing articles (n=76) extracted from three databases (Wos, Scopus and ERIC). Reference management and text mining software was used to data analyse. Eight research questions were answered on the conceptual framework, bibliometrics characteristics and pedagogical dimension. From the results of the content analysis emerges a vision of the role of multiliteracies in educational research and the problem of disinformation: media and information literacies are the most relevant and news and data literacies are incorporated. The need to adopt interdisciplinary approaches is confirmed. From the results of the educational dimension, three pedagogical approaches are identified: strategies for competencies development; focused on content and education for citizenship. Workshops and lesson plans are the most common teaching practices. The development of critical thinking, experiences in the co-construction of knowledge, and the values of civic education are fundamental against disinformation.

This paper reports the results of a survey measuring Finnish professional translators’ (N=450) perceptions on translation technology. The paper also introduces a tool that can be used to study the perception of such changes, the NEMP model (New Educational Models or Paradigms).Main results indicate that translation technology is perceived by professional translators as an efficient tool that has changed translating in practice, but does not encourage to creativity. Business translators seem to have a more positive perception on translation technology than other respondents (literary or audiovisual translators). As for the method, the results indicate that the NEMP model is a useful method for studying the perception of translation technology.

This paper addresses the complex issue of extremism and radicalization from the perspective of gender difference and, in particular, the female gender. In fact, these issues are mostly associated with the male gender and there are still few studies, especially in the national context, on female forms of radicalization. The first studies and reports at European level highlight an increasing participation of women in terrorist organizations in recent years and the strong presence of forms of discrimination and sexist stereotypes within the organizations themselves. However, sometimes joining a terrorist organization can represent for women, especially initially, a way to feel autonomous and be able to redeem themselves from a situation of pressure, discrimination and violence suffered. Particular attention is devoted to young people and Muslim women because they are more at risk of discrimination and social exclusion and to the role of immigrant mothers as mediators of two cultures and facilitators in the process of social inclusion of younger generations, especially if supported by policies and educational models based on inclusion, recognition of difference as a value, acceptance of the other, dialogue, and respect. In this regard, the contribution presents the results of a research conducted among secondary school students to investigate the dynamics of inclusion among peers and critical issues related to the adolescent period.

The article analyzes the potential and possibilities of the method of blended learning as a didactic means of implementing the transition from the traditional model of learning to the integrated one with involving electronic environments and resources. The existing models of blended learning are considered, the ways of their adaptation to the conditions of studying at institutions of higher education are discussed. It will help to improve the quality of education as well as to provide opportunities for the implementing various educational models, forms and means of education. It is pointed out the problems which hinder the effective and rapid integration of e-learning environments. Some strategic initiatives to solve them are proposed. It is proved that blended learning technology involves the transformation of the student's position from the object to the active subject of teaching, and the teacher - from the main source of knowledge to the organizer of the students` learning process. Blended learning is justified as an educational model which bases on the integration of traditional face-to-face and electronic education systems and provides personalization of the learning process by means of providing the learners with the opportunity to choose conditions and control over the process of mastering the set of necessary competencies.

University education is at a critical moment due to the pandemic generated by the Coronavirus Disease 2019. Universities, to guarantee the continuity of education, have considered it necessary to modify their educational models, implementing a transition towards a remote education model. This model depends on the use of information and communication technologies for its execution and the establishment of synchronous classes as a means of meeting between teachers and students. However, moving from face-to-face classes to online classes is not enough to meet all the needs of students. By not meeting the needs and expectations of students, problems are generated that directly affect learning. In this work, Big data and artificial intelligence are integrated as a solution in a technological architecture that supports the remote education model. This integration makes it possible to identify the state of learning and recommend immediate actions to its actors. Teachers, knowing the variables that affect academic performance, have the ability to change the components of learning or the method used. Improving learning and validating the capacity of information technologies to generate digital environments suitable for the generation of knowledge. In addition to improving the functionality of educational models and their adaptability to the new normal.

This paper answers a call from Nordic colleagues for new strategies in education to meet the needs of a new generation of bachelor nursing students regarding the development of clinical skills. We, as they, believe that educational models targeting the development of clinical skills must be customised to meet the learning style of the current and future generations of bachelor nursing students. In this paper we put forward that using a comprehensive, collaborative, student-centred approach will assist younger generations’ learning processes. We describe a pedagogical model of peer learning that combines collaboration, reflection and assessment aligned with learning outcomes. Such an approach, we believe, is likely to be in line with expectations, needs and preconditions of the current and future generations of nursing students.
