Passing on volleyball is important in volleyball games, but students have difficulty determining the exact passing result with the target. This study aims to improve the passing skills on volleyball in volleyball learning on students of VII A grade in state junior high school 1 Probolinggo using the target games approach. The research method uses Classroom Action Research. The implementation of this class action through two cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and 4) reflection. The subjects of this study are students of VII A grade in State Junior High School 1 Probolinggo. The collecting techniques of the data use observation sheets, documentation and tests. The results of the passing skills test on volleyball in the first cycle, the number of students amount 30 people, there are 29 students able to do the passing beginning movement on  the volleyball correctly 90.25% with good category, 27 students are able to do the movements correctly in the subject position of 81.12 % with good category, and 28 students are able to make the final movement correctly 80.25% with a good category. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that learning of passing on volleyball through the target games approach is able to improve the passing skills on volleyball of students in State Junior High School Probolinggo and it is hoped that in the future research can be found that develops target games with other types of games to overcome student learning difficulties.

This research aims to improve the competency of PAI teachers in the building in drafting the proposal of class action research in Sleman Regency through structured coaching. The subject of research is 9 teachers of junior high School from 3 sub-district, Kalasan Sub-district, Berbah subdistrict and Prambanan subdistrict. The research was conducted for 3 (three) months that may until July 2017, conducted with 2 (two) cycles. The results showed that the understanding of each component of the PTK proposal in cycle I 56.24 on cycle II increased to 83.6. The process assessment score of the 4 stage structured Coaching cycle I amounted to 40.97, on the II cycle increased to 86.8. The result of Cycle I poll is 64.7, in cycle II to 83.6. This demonstrates structured coaching can improve the competency and understanding of teachers in drafting PTK proposals.

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of self-regulated learning interventions to increase learning motivation and learning abilities in junior high school students who come from families with low socioeconomic levels. The intervention was given for five sessions through psychoeducation and assignments. The subject of this study is a male, 15 years old. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of the analysis of observations, interviews, and assignment documents show that there are differences before and after the subject was given intervention. In general, self-regulated learning intervention has a positive impact on learning motivation and learning abilities of the subject. Several factors that support and inhibit intervention were explained. Some suggestions are given to develop the further intervention.

To achieve vision, mission and the objectives of an institution is determined by capability of the teachers. The development and improvement of teacher must be done systematically, systematic, and be oriented to the four teacher proficiencies. This study aims to determine of how the pattern on increasing the teacher competence in Islamic Junior High School, Banda Aceh, using descriptive methods and the data collection is through observations, interviews and documentation. The subject of the study is head master of the school, chairmen of MGMP, teacher supervisor. The study also uses qualitative analysis. The study shows that: 1) the improvement of the teacher competence at MTsN Banda Aceh has not been supported by realistic program, comprehensive and operational. 2). The implementation of improving the teacher competence is not supported through teacher needs-based program in order to be implemented systematically, well-planned, and sustainably, 3) There is still many internal and external obstacles in implementing the teacher competence through school headmaster supervision and the supervisors could not reach the expected target.

Abstract: The purpose of this class action research is to improve the learning outcomes of under passing the volleyball students of class VIII-D State Junior High School 15 Malang using the play approach. Based on the results of preliminary observations obtained learning outcomes of students when the practice of the basic technique of under passing volleyball at a lesser level. Then learning using the play approach for two cycles and learning outcomes using the play approach at the end of the second cycle obtained the percentage results with the level of truth that is 23 or 76.67% good category, body position 24 or 80% good category, 23 arm position or 76.67% good category, the direction and direction of the ball 24 or 80% good category. Based on the results of the percentage it can be said that through the play approach can improve the learning outcomes of basic techniques of under passing the volleyball of students of class VIII-D State Junior High School 15 Malang. Keywords: learning outcomes, under passing of volleyball, physical education, playing approaches. Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar passing bawah bolavoli siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 15 Malang dengan menggunakan pendekatan bermain. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal diperoleh hasil belajar peserta didik saat praktik teknik dasar passing bawah bolavoli pada taraf kurang. Kemudian dilaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan bermain selama dua siklus dan hasil belajar menggunakan pendekatan bermain pada akhir siklus dua diperoleh hasil persentase dengan tingkat kebenaran yaitu posisi kaki 23 atau 76,67% kategori baik, posisi badan 24 atau 80% kategori baik, posisi lengan 23 atau 76,67% kategori baik, perkenaan dan arah bola 24 atau 80% kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil persentase dapat dikatakan bahwa melalui pendekatan bermain dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teknik dasar passing bawah bolavoli siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 15 Malang. Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, passing bawah bolavoli, pendidikan jasmani, pendekatan bermain.

The objective of this research was to know the improvement of students’ ability in writing descriptive text by using picture series media. The subject of the research was students on class H at VII (seven) Junior High School 19 Bengkulu City, there were 23 students. The form of this research was a classroom action research. The data of this research were gathered from the descriptive writing test and analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The result showed that there are an improvement of students’ ability in writing descriptive text by using picture series media on class H at VII (seven) Junior High School 19 Bengkulu City. It can be seen from the writing result on cycle I that students’ average score 70 (enough) and increased with 76,04 (good) after repaired on cycle II, then increased again after repaired on cycle III with 86,17 (very good).

No change in educational administration or in educational policy in the last fifty years has offered so great an opportunity for improvement in high-school mathematics as the organization of the junior high school. But as we felicitate ourselves upon the possibilities we need to remember that many of the changes now taking place were advocated by leaders thirty years ago. There is a striking similarity between some recommendations of the National Committee on the Reorganization of Mathematics in Secondary Education published in 1923 and the Report of the Commission on Mathematics of the Committee of Fifteen in 1893. There were seers on that Commission headed by Simon Newcomb and we are just catching up with their vision. That educational administration has made this advance is due to the study and appreciation of the varying needs and abilities of pupils and the demands of a scientific age. That mathematics teachers in 1926 are accepting changes advocated thirty years ago is due in large part to the work of the International Commission on the Teaching of Mathematics and the work of the National Committee. Every teacher of secondary mathematics should own and read the Report of the National Committee, the best text that 1 know on the teaching of the subject; and every one should know of the significance of the work of the International Commission.
