The aim of this research is to track the knowledge of nanotechnology of high school Students "female" in Jeddah city, and their trends towards it, and finding out the relationship between the level of the knowledge of nanotechnology and the tendency towards nanotechnology of the sample individuals, the research was based on the descriptive approach. And the research sample was determined by the students of the third grade secondary (scientific section) in the city of Jeddah with 40 students. This research was carried out at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2018-2019, and for achieving the research’s objectives a test which measures the level of the knowledge of nanotechnology was used and also a scale gauges the tendency towards nanotechnology. The research pointed out that the cognitive level of high school students in Jeddah city is low where it amounted to (42%). The research also showed that the students’ marks average in the tendency scale is high where it reached (3.93) ,there is also a strong positive correlation between the level of knowledge of nanotechnology and the trend towards nanotechnology of the sample.

Pro environmental behavior is a person's activity that aims to improve the quality of the environment and reduce the environmental impact of one's actions that can damage the environment which can be seen from several factors. One of the factors is value orientation. This study aims to determine the relationship between value orientation and pro environmental behavior in high school students in Jakarta. The study was conducted at 71 Jakarta High School in the first semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The samples used was 100 students of class XI MIPA who were randomly selected. Data was collected using value orientation instruments (biospheric, altruistic and egoistic) with a sample reliability coefficient of 0.770 and a pro environmental behavior with a sample reliability coefficient of 0.868. Data analysis was performed with a simple linear regression test to measure the magnitude of the relationship used the Pearson Product Moment formula at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between value orientation and pro environmental behavior. The correlation coefficient of this research is 0.338. The contribution of value orientation variables to students' pro environmental behavior variables was 14.1%. Therefore, value orientation has a role in pro-environmental behavior of students.

The aim of this study is to examine relationship between the physical education course sportspersonship behaviors and respect levels for high school students. The sample of study consists of randomly selected 505 high school students (215 female and 290 male) attending state schools in the province of İstanbul in 2016-2017 academic year. “Physical Education Course Sportspersonship Behavior Scale”, “Respect Scale” and personal information form created by the researcher were used in the study. It was found that the scales was valid and reliable and could be used for high school students. Sportsmanship behaviors significantly differed according to the gender of the students (in favor of the girls), the grade (in favor of 10th grade), school success (in favor of good level) and the type of sports most interested (in favor of physically noncontact sports). It was understood that the scale scores of the students are not significantly different according to the family economic conditions. It was found that physical education course sportspersonship behaviors (Realization of Positive Behavior, Avoidance from Negative Behavior) are significantly related to respect levels (Cosmopolitanism, Communitarianism) positively. And it was seen that the level of respect was a significant predictor of the sportsmanship of the students. It is believed that the implementation of activities aimed at improving the level of respect in schools will be helpful in improving sportsmanship behaviors.

Objective: A poll on first-semester high school students (n = 246) took place at NuevoLaredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to find out if they received environmental education as anextracurricular class during middle school and how this training could influence theirperceptions and positions on environmental issues.Design/methodology/approach: A questionnaire that contained aspects regard waterculture, recycling, species care and transportation, as well as general knowledge of theenvironment and its regulations, was applied to students. The SPSS statistical software wasused to categorize two groups: students who received extracurricular environmentaleducation and those who did not. Subsequently, the non-parametric Mann Whitney testswere performed on the data.Results: Out of the total number of participants, 167 said they had received extracurricularenvironmental education in middle school. The other 79 participants reported not to havedone so. Students who received more environmental education in middle school exhibit abetter attitude regard water management. Limitations of the study/implications: To interpret the results, it is necessary to considerthat the study took place only in the city of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and that aconvenience sampling was used.Findings / Conclusions: There are still students that do not receive enough environmentaleducation. We conclude that it is important to intensify efforts to change this situation, asenvironmental training has shown to positively influence the attitudes of students whoreceived it.

Abstract Whereas adolescence is one of the most emotional periods in every person life so having social skills and increasing awareness cause persons have beneficial and effective relationships with other people and avoid socially absurd behavior. On the other hand, with the reduction of social behavior student’s communicational and the social aspects of growth will be improved: physical, psychological, mental and social. Hence, the aim of this study was to look at the relationship between students’ social skills at the second level of high school with their teachers in Aligoudarz Province, Iran. The present study is a descriptive quantitative study of the correlation type. Statistical samples included 200 boy and girl students in the second level of high school in Aligoudarz Province which were selected in a multistage random manner. Data collection included a three-part questionnaire which included demographic information, social skills and a researcher-created questionnaire about parents’ disorders which was supplemented by students and analyzed by statistical descriptive and inferential and SPSS 16 software. The findings of this study showed that there relation between students’ social skills and relationships with their teachers, hence by increasing students’ social skill training it can avoid disorder and help in their health education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis tingkat SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah korelasional berdasarkan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan jika ada seberapa besar humbungan antar keduanya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung dengan sampel yang diambil adalah seluruh kelas VII-B Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri dari 5 butir soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis serta angket kemandirian belajar yang terdiri dari 28 pernyataan. Berdasakan hasil yang diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemandirian belajar siswa SMA dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis sebesar 17% dipengaruhi oleh kemandirian belajar dan 83 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Kata kunci : kemandirian belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis   This study aims to determine the effect of learning independence on junior high school mathematical problem solving abilities. The method used in the study is correlational based on a quantitative approach that aims to determine whether there is a relationship between learning independence towards mathematical problem solving abilities and if there is how much the relationship between the two. The population in this study is in one of the state junior high schools in the city of Bandung with the samples taken are all class VII-B Instruments used in the study consisted of 5 items test questions mathematical problem-solving ability and learning independence questionnaire consisting of 28 statements. Based on the results obtained that there is a positive relationship between the independence of learning high school students with mathematical problem solving abilities of 17% influenced by learning independence and 83% influenced by other factors. School absenteeism, particularly among junior high school students, has increased annually in Japan. This study demonstrates the relationship between subjective adjustment to school life and students’ absenteeism. Data were collected from 17,378 junior high school students in Japan. A longitudinal design was used for the study. Teachers were asked to distribute the Adaptation Scale for School Environments on Six Spheres (ASSESS) questionnaire to junior high school students and ask the students to fill out the questionnaire at the beginning of the 2014 academic year in April 2014, and the relationship between their subjective adjustment and absenteeism as measured by the total number of absent days during the 2014 academic year was evaluated by logistic regression and a survival analysis model. Low life satisfaction was associated with absences. The corresponding odds ratio (OR) was higher for seventh graders (OR 3.29, confidence interval (CI): 2.41–4.48, hazard ratio (HR) 5.57, CI: 3.51–8.84) than for students in other grades. Interpersonal relationships were significantly related to absenteeism for seventh and eighth graders in the group with scores less than 39 points. Lower adjustment to learning seemed to be related to absenteeism for seventh and eighth graders. For effective interventions, a well-designed study that uses detailed information regarding life-related covariates is necessary.

Responsible environmental behavior is the result of interaction between various factors. One of those factors is the new environmental paradigm. This study aims to determine the relation between the new environmental paradigm to responsible environmental behavior in high school students in Jakarta. The research was conducted at Jakarta State Senior High School 53 in the first semester of the 2017/2018 Academic Year. The method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The sample used was 89 students of class XI MIA random sampling. Data was collected using new environmental paradigm instruments and responsible environmental behavior instruments. Data analysis was done by simple linear regression test to measure the magnitude of the relation using the Pearson Product Moment formula at the 5% significance level. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant the relation between the new environmental paradigm to responsible environmental behavior. The correlation coefficient of this study is 0.276. The contribution of the new environmental paradigm variable to responsible environmental behavior variable is 7.6%. Therefore, the environmental paradigm has a role in improving student's responsible environmental behavior. Keywords: new environmental paradigm, responsible environmental behavior, students.
