<p>Computable analysis has been well studied ever since Turing famously formalised the computable reals and computable real-valued function in 1936. However, analysis is a broad subject, and there still exist areas that have yet to be explored. For instance, Sierpinski proved that every real-valued function ƒ : ℝ → ℝ is the limit of a sequence of Darboux functions. This is an intriguing result, and the complexity of these sequences has been largely unstudied. Similarly, the Blaschke Selection Theorem, closely related to the Bolzano-Weierstrass Theorem, has great practical importance, but has not been considered from a computability theoretic perspective. The two main contributions of this thesis are: to provide some new, simple proofs of fundamental classical results (highlighting the role of ∏0/1 classes), and to use tools from effective topology to analyse the Darboux property, particularly a result by Sierpinski, and the Blaschke Selection Theorem. This thesis focuses on classical computable analysis. It does not make use of effective measure theory.</p>

The article is devoted to the work of the committees and commissions that worked in the Terek region in the 40-70s of 19th century. The article analyzes the reasons for the creation, composition, tasks and main activities of the committees. The study examines the attempts of these committees and commissions to resolve the agrarian issue in the Central Caucasus. The conclusion shows the importance of their activities for the study of agrarian and class relations in the region. The author comes to the conclusion that the activities of the committees and commissions were of great practical importance. Thanks to their work, it was possible to ease the severity of social conflicts in the region. They laid the foundation for the settlement of the land issue, which continued in the following decades. Thanks to the painstaking work of the committees and commissions, a huge amount of materials was collected. They are of great importance for studying the history of that time. The materials of these committees and commissions in most cases were the main source of information, which formed the basis for the research of historians and ethnographers of different generations.

The fate of herbicides applied to the soil is a matter of great practical importance. If they disappear rapidly, for example, they may prove ineffective: if they persist unduly there may be environmental problems. Many factors contributed to the disappearance of herbicides: this article reviews the important role of soil micro-organisms.

The article of the authors is devoted to increasing the professionalism and responsibility of local selfgovernment bodies in the Kyrgyz Republic. In the context of deepening socio-economic reform, the role of local self-government bodies is growing. Over time, it becomes more and more obvious that our society will not be able to cope with the existing numerous problems if there is no effective activity and responsibility of local self-government bodies, the development of which is of great practical importance for the development of local communities and the state as a whole.

Many elements of foreign languages have been incorporated into Chinese throughout its long history. However, the issue of borrowing from a foreign language in Chinese is of great interest. The study of this problem, along with the theoretical, is of great practical importance. Ignorance of the methods of borrowing foreign vocabulary, its features and structure, the inability to distinguish sound borrowing from words of Chinese origin quite often confuses the translator and leads to semantic errors. Borrowing vocabulary can occur verbally (phonetic) and written (semantic). Loans in Chinese can be of four types: phonetic; semantic; semi-semantic, semi-phonetic; hybrid type, where elements of both languages are present. This article discusses the types of phonetic borrowing and their role in the formation of medical terminology in the Chinese language.

Panchakarma is a fruitful measure and its extensive efficacies are classified in different dimensions to cure different types of complicated diseases. Vamana, Virechana, Niruha, Anuvasana and Nasya are the five procedures and subsequently even Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Rakta Mokshana are broadly termed as Panchakarma in day to day practices. The new diseases are evolving with intense gravity and therefore to combat those, Panchakarma is a very effective measure. In present era competition and advancement have led to hectic and stressful life, man has eventually forgotten the absolute enjoyment and solitary affection of nature and as a result is facing many health problems. Gridhrasi is no exception, it is correlated to sciatica in modern science where low back ache radiating to toes in the lateral aspect of the thigh associated with stiffness is the main complaint.

Purpose – The role of call-centres during service recovery has attracted much attention in research. However, marketers know less about controlling customers during recovery interactions and consequences of such control. In order to address this gap and empirically ascertain whether service interactions are marked by customer centricity or by employees exerting control over customers, the aim of the authors was to organise an empirical research in two Brazilian call-centres. Design/methodology/approach – The research consisted of direct, open observation and 33 semi-structured interviews with insiders (call-centre managers, supervisors and operatives). Findings – Four key findings emerged during interviews with insiders. First, control over customers may be more widely practiced than assumed in certain sections of marketing academe. Second, such control is viewed positively by call-centre insiders and is sanctioned by management. Third, control does not disempower and demoralise call-centre staff but protects operatives. Finally, control does not seem to unavoidably generate lasting customer dissatisfaction. These findings are incorporated in a framework of call-centre management which incorporates control through scripting. Research limitations/implications – The discussion calls for the revisit of certain marketing concepts and philosophies, including customer orientation, by demonstrating that control over customers is practised and should not be viewed negatively or avoided altogether in practice and as a topic of analysis. A re-conceptualisation of call-centres as sites of control over customers is proposed. Originality/value – Control and power are rarely analysed in services marketing. This is one of a few studies that makes sense of providers' (insiders') viewpoints and argues that control may play a constructive role and should be seen as a legitimate topic of services and call-centre analysis. As such it addresses a question of intellectual and practical importance which is rarely discussed and may be viewed as incongruous with an age when customers are assumed to have rights.

Our research aims to try to present the modeling mechanisms in the field of simulation and quantitative methods. The research is a presentation of the role of quantitative methods in making investment project evaluation decisions, more than that and is the use of the Monte Carlo simulation model in evaluation and multi-period analysis of investment projects under conditions Risk and uncertainty. And highlighting the theoretical, scientific and practical importance of the Monte Carlo simulation method in particular, and the importance of using quantitative methods in helping to make decisions in general

This work is devoted to the speech impact of advertising texts, in other words, the language of advertising, the purpose of which is to attract the attention of a potential consumer by making the message as memorable and unusual as possible, lively and catchy, colorful and attractive to a potential listener / buyer. The significance of the work lies in the fact that the author, in the process of analyzing the basic structural elements of the advertising message (slogan and main body), determines the main speech techniques for the influence of advertising texts: expressive means, including metaphors, epithets metonymy, speech turns, paths, various grammatical forms and other forms of influence: nominative, one-part, verb sentences, comparative and superlative adjectives, rhymes, imperative verbs, adverbs, lexical repetition. On specific examples of advertising slogans, evidence is given that the above speech means contribute to increased demand for the advertised product or service. During the study, the author confirms the hypothesis put forward at the beginning of the study: if you skillfully use speech exposure, i.e. to choose words whose harmonious combination lays in the subconscious of a person the information transmitted to him by the manufacturer through high-quality advertising, then such an advertising text can become the key to the success of trade. The work is of great practical importance: the material presented in it can be used by students to improve the culture of speech, improve stylistically differentiated speech, as well as school teachers as methodological material in the Russian language when studying the section «Vocabulary», «Stylistics».

One of the urgent problems of modern dermatology, which are of deep scientific interest and are of extremely great practical importance, is the complex and controversial issue of the etiology of eczema. However, despite the colossal literature, despite a number of detailed experimental studies, the main and deep contradictions of representatives of the main dermatological schools on the nature of eczema remain unresolved.
