The study is basically to examine electronic-voting in Nigeria elections as an improvement on the traditional paper voting with a focus on Owerri Senatorial Zone, Imo State. Worried by the frequent and debilitating incidences of electoral fraud and disenfranchisement of voters for unsubstantiated reasons, the study tended to sample opinion of respondents in Owerri on the subject as a way of strengthening democracy. Martin Hagen theory of e-democracy was adopted as theoretical framework. Hagen construes e-democracy as a strategic tool to strengthen democratic practices using the information and computer technology (ICT). The study is a survey attempt which made use of structured questionnaire to elicit information from respondents. Simple per centage was used for data analysis. It is our finding among others that e-voting will reduce incidences of election fraud especially in the areas of voting and counting of votes, and also the physically challenged qualified voters and citizens living and working abroad will have opportunity to cast their votes. The study concludes that Nigeria must cash in on flourishing (ICT) to fight endemic electoral irregularities in Nigeria through firm belief in and avowed adoption of e-voting. The study recommended among others institutionalization of legal frameworks and structures that will formidably support the practice of e-voting in Owerri senatorial zone in particular and Nigeria in general.

Abstract This paper looks into statistics, classic and modern research of women in the management and of women in Information and Computer Technology (ICT) industry. The subject of women in the management, the effect on the companies and their culture and factors underlying women’s management success has been raised in the 70’s, but there was not much research into the ICT industry until 90’s, with quite significant literature in the subject in the last decade. Based on the literature and current management thinking review paper aims to indentify the factors that influence first women choice of ICT as business career and second - women success in the management. The objective is to identify a framework that will be used as a reference in author’s qualitative research into woman in the ICT management in different cultures.

This study aims to determine the effect of derivative and integral mastery on the learning achievement of physics class XI IPA students on motion kinematics material. The population of this study were all students of class XI IPA at Madrasah Aliyah NW Kotaraja, amounting to 36 people. The research method used is the Ex Post Facto method, by not providing treatment but directly conducting evaluations related to students 'abilities in motion kinematics material and also students' abilities related to inherited and integral abilities. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis. From the results of the analysis, it is found that Freg-count = 4.282 and Freg-table = 4.130 (Freg-count> Freg-table), the conclusion of this study is that the derivative and integral mastery affects students' physics learning achievement on the subject of motion kinematics.

Academic stress can cause physical problems such as fatigue which can affect student learning processes and motivation. To minimize academic stress, it is necessary to know the factors that influence academic stress in students. Several studies have shown that the higher the level of religiosity and self-efficacy, the lower the level of academic stress. This study aimed to observe the correlation of religiosity and self-efficacy with the academic stress among students at Pharmaceutical Major. 250 active students of pharmacy were involved as the subject in Universitas “Y” in Yogyakarta. The data collection method used in this study was the scale including the religiosity scale made by Nashori (2012), General Self-Efficacy Scale has been adapted into Indonesia Language by Born, Schwarzer, and Jerussalem (1995), and Student Academic Stress Scale adapted into Indonesia Language by Wulandari (2018). The data in this study were analyzed using the correlation of product moment Pearson and doubled regression analysis used the SPSS 16.00 program for Windows. The results of this study showed that religiosity and self-efficacy was negatively correlated with the academic stress of students at pharmacy major. Religiosity and self-efficacy individually and simultaneously had a contribution to 17,1%  towards the academic stress of pharmacy students.

The subject of the research is the approach to the possibility of using the Solow model to perform the regression analysis on the example of the Ukrainian economy model. The purpose of writing this article is to investigate the notion of regres- sion analysis, Solow’s economy model, algorithm for performing regression analy- sis on the example of Ukraine’s economy model. This model can be adapted for the economy of enterprises. Methodology. The research methodology is system-struc- tural and comparative analyzes (to study the structure of GDP); monograph (when studying methods of regression analysis on the example of the Ukrainian economy); economic analysis (when assessing the impact of factors on Ukraine’s GDP). The scientific novelty consists the features of the use of the Solow model on the ex- ample of Ukrainian economy are determined. An algorithm for calculating the basic parameters of a model using the Excel application package is disclosed. The main recommendations on the development of the national economy and economic growth through the use of macroeconomic instruments are given. Conclusions. The use of the Solow model enables forecasting and analysis. The results obtained re- vealed the problem of low resource return of capital as a resource, along with the means of macroeconomic regulation of the investment process, using which can improve the situation. A special place in these funds belongs to the accelerated depreciation and interest rate policies.

AbstractIn recent decades the preschool has leaned more towards a learning-oriented pedagogy, where the subject of technology has been given a more prominent place. Still, studies on how individual preschool staff members perceive and teach technology is scarce. This study shows how seven preschool staff in Sweden describe their work with the subject of technology and how technology education is characterized in these descriptions. The data was produced by means of semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire and analyzed with narrative analysis. The results show very diverse practices of technology education, implying the learning possibilities for children in different preschools are not equal. Some of the staff describe a clear and conscious teaching of technology, while others describe teaching what can be viewed as a limited and/or shallow technology education, where technology is sometimes used as means for learning other subjects or contents rather than being the learning objective. Six ways to characterize technology education was found, namely: technology education (1) concerns technological objects and systems in children’s environment, (2) concerns learning to handle technological objects, (3) is doing experiments, (4) involves developing abilities, (5) is naturally included in children’s play and (6) departs from digital technology.
