This research purpose to increase the competence of Teachers in Education of Citizenship in Junior High School at Pontianak City. The research to use development method <em>Research </em>&amp; <em>Development </em>(R &amp; D). The research subject of 24 teachers of Citizenship Education in Junior High School at Pontianak City which active in container Conference Teacher Subject Matter (CTSM). The approach to use in this research of <em>Research </em>&amp; <em>Development </em>(R &amp; D). Technique collection data was with observation form, questionnaire Likert scale, open questionnaire, interview compass, document analysis, Group Focus Discussion, documentary study, and test. This research purpose to describe: (1) Training model now to use by the teacher, (2) To design development model and device of the implementation training of Citizenship Education basis on multicultural through empowerment Conference Teacher Subject Matter, and (3) Final model of the implementation training of Citizenship Education through Empowerment Conference Teacher Subject Matter to increase competence pedagogical and professional of Teacher in Junior High School at Pontianak City. This results of the research concluded that: (1) Final model of training Citizenship Education bases on multicultural through the empowerment of Conference Teacher Subject Matter (CTSM) can be increase competence pedagogical and professional of teacher subject matter Citizenship Education, was increase competence Pedagogical was increasing ability development syllabus, the increased ability in The Planning of Implementation Learning (PIL), the formulation Basic Competence (BC), the increased ability of the implementation of Learning, and ability learning evaluation, (2) Final model of training Citizenship Education basis on multicultural through the empowerment of CTSM more effective to increase ability Pedagogical and competence professional of teacher Citizenship Education in Junior High School at Pontianak City.

The ability of mathematical representation is very important for someone to help in solving the problem. This type of research is a development research. This article aims to obtain a student workbook design based on Discovery Learning that is oriented towards students' mathematical representation abilities. This research is a research development of Research and Development (R & D) with 4D development model which includes defining, design, development, and dissemination. This study is limited only to the design stage. Subjects in this study are students of junior high school grade VII in central java Indonesia. An instrument used in this study in the form of essay questions, questionnaire and interview guidelines. This research resulted in the worksheet (LKS) design based on Discovery Learning based on the ability of mathematical representation to improve the ability of mathematical representation. The next stage will be the research stage of development and dissemination to produce a valid, practical, and useful worksheet.

This research purpose to description students’ error in solving problem of two dimension and effort defragmentation. Error analysis which execute base on concept construction error theory that include logical thinking error and hole contruction. This research done execute on students junior high school at eight grade of SMP in Pasuruan who finished two dimension material. Research subject is chose by students who are did mistake considerate of finishing comprehensiveness of students problem base Newman’s steps. From the result research was found that the students’ concept construction error in solving problem is erroring logic thinking and contruction hole. Defragmenting that id did by researcher is giving conflict cognitive to repar logic thinking error and appear scheme which still not build through scaffolding to hole that occur on students’ thinking structure.

<p>This research aims: (1) to describe the prior condition of teacher competency in History-Social Studies learning in Junior High School; (2) to describe the training form used for the History-Social Studies teacher of Junior High School currently; (3) to describe the form of multicultural education-based History-Social Studies training requirement; and (4) to develop the multicultural education-based History-Social Studies training model for the teacher of Junior High School in Surakarta. This research and development was taken place in Surakarta city. The subject of research was the History-Social Studies teachers of Junior High School. The result of research showed: (1) the prior condition of Social Studies teacher’s competency in history learning was still low. It could be seen from the teacher’s low capability of developing RPP (lesson plan), and low capability of implementing the learning; (2) the training form used currently could not improve the teacher competency optimally; (3) the teacher wanted to improve his/her competency through multicultural education-based History-Social Studies training; and (4) the training model developed encompassed three stages: planning, implementation, and  training evaluation.</p> <p>Keywords: Training Model, History-Social Studies, Multicultural Education</p><p> </p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan kondisi awal kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran IPS-Sejarah  di SMP; (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk pelatihan yang dipakai untuk guru IPS-Sejarah SMP sekarang ini; (3) mendeskripsikan bentuk kebutuhan pelatihan IPS-Sejarah berbasis pendidikan multikultural; dan (4) mengembangkan model pelatihan IPS-Sejarah berbasis pendidikan multikultural bagi guru SMP di Surakarta. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilaksanakan di Kota Surakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPS (sejarah) di sekolah menengah pertama. Hasil penelitian dapat dikemukakan: (1) kondisi awal kompetensi guru IPS dalam pembelajaran sejarah masih rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP, dan rendahnya kemampuan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran; (2) bentuk pelatihan yang dipakai sekarang ini kurang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru; (3)  guru ingin meningkatkan kompetensinya melalui pelatihan IPS-Sejarah berbasis pendidikan multikultural; dan (4) model pelatihan yang Dikembangkan mempunyai tiga tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pelatihan</p> <p>Kata Kunci: Model Pelatihan, IPS-Sejarah, Pendidikan Multikultural.</p> <p> </p>

Some factors of low interresting of Mathematic learning material for student on Junior High School grade (SMP/MTs) are design of learning material that is less animation and  the difficuties of use the learning material. Therefore, the use of learning material should be inovated for increasing the learners’ interrest, to make them easy understanding the subject that has been learnt, and still capable to increase reigion value in their ownselves. One form of this effort is to create learning material in the form of flash mathematics with consits Islamic value. Flash application is an application that can be developed in accordance animatif developer creativity. The purpose of the research is the developing of learning material in the electric learning form that consists Islamic value in Transformation subject. The method of research is research and development, and the design of the research is using the steps of ADDIE model, there are analysis, design, development, implemetation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included interviews and observations with research instruments are questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. Further analysis of the data conducted by researchers consists  of qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching materials developed. The results of the expert evaluation consisting of a material expert and a media expert, shows that the average velue obtained from every aspects: content quality and purpose,instructional quality of learning material, aspects of the charge Islamic value, and the technique quality was 4.37 that very good category. The results of the assessment by the teachers of Junior High School grade (MTs) Nurul Huda Munjul which consist of two Mathematics teacher and a teacher of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), shows that the average velue of each aspect was 4.46 with very good category. Than the student quationnaire responses result data obtained by the average velue of each aspects: the quality of learning and instructional, technical aspects of the display, and payload  integrition aspects of Islamic value in learning material, namely 3.98, with good categories. The data test scores of student learning outcomes gained an average of 82.34  > KKM (75) with the classical completeness of 89.19% > 85%. The conclusion showed that the quality of Mathematic learning materials charged Islamic velues are developed with macromedia flash and catamsia aplications is feasible and effective to be used in the learning process.

This  research is aimed  to developing instructional English materials for the students of the seventh grade especially in basic competencies 3.5, 4.5, 3.6, and 4.6 at  MTs  Madani  Pao-pao  based  on  2013  curriculum  supported  by  using  inquiry  learning  model  and  using  the concept of HOTS in indicators achieved. The research design used in this study was Research and Development (R&D).  The   development   model   used   was   ADDIE   model. It consists of need analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The  procedures  included  analyzing  materials   needed   by spreading  questionnaire  to  the  students  and  analyzing  the  basic   competencies used, designing a  blueprint  of  materials and the instructional materials, and validating the material by the expert. There were 146 students as the respondents of 26 questionnaire questions. The instruments used in this research were the documents, questionnaire, and validation checklist. In this research, the expert was involved in order to validate the product. There were three systematic  aspects  that  they  validated  of  the product:  Materials  Systematic  Organization,  Systematic  English   Teaching  and  Systematic  Content  of  English.  Therefore,  the  result  indicated  that  based on experts judgment as well as  product  development  result,  the  developed basic competency  3.5  &  4.5  and  basic  competency  3.6  &  4.6  were applicable to be taught at the seventh grade students  of  Junior  High  School as topic in English for them.

The values of nationalism can be integrated into instructional materials as a way to achieve competence standards set by the government. This study aimed to produce nationalism-oriented interactive materials for news item learning in junior high school. This study employed a research and development design that consisted of seven stages, including data analysis, product design, prototype development, expert validation, product revision, small-group tryout, and final model revision. The result of the analysis showed that the interactive materials could meet the teacher’s and students’ needs in learning news item and the development of the product was in line with the principle of instructional material development. The interactive instructional materials were packaged in a compact disk (CD) containing an application called Macromedia Flash. The values of nationalism integrated in the instructional materials include the pride in the national language which is Indonesian Language, the love for the country, the spirit of preserving national songs, heroism, discipline, and hard work. These values were embedded in the form of visual, audio, or audiovisual media that can be displayed in the classroom and thus used to study listening.

Malang has many kinds of traditional art and music and it is important that young people are aware of their local art and music as part of their cultural identity. The purpose of this research was to explore Malang traditional art and music which could be used as learning materials for junior high school students, especially for art and culture subject matter. This research used a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, field observation and documentation analysis. The results showed that there is traditional art in Malang which can be used for this purpose, namely pottery from Penanggungan sub-district and batik from Celaket sub-district, which both use traditional elements. This research also identified the traditional music called Malangan Macapat which is different to Central Java Macapat. The conclusion was that these forms of Malang traditional art and music can be developed as learning materials for art and culture subject matter for junior high school students.   Keywords: education, art, music, learning materials, traditional

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran lingkaran SMP Kelas VIII dengan suplemen materi History of Mathematics (HoM) yang terdiri dari RPP dan Modul yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan ynag digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Analisis data kevalidan dan kepraktisan dilakukan dengan cara mengkonversi skor empiris yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Analisis keefektifan dilakukan dengan cara menentukan persentase banyak siswa yang mencapai kategori minimal tinggi untuk angket dan menentukan persentase ketuntasan siswa pada tes prestasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, RPP dan Modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dengan kategori sangat baik. RPP dan Modul yang dikembangkan praktis dan efektif. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mencapai kategori sangat baik berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian guru, modul mencapai kategori baik berdasarkan respon siswa. Perangkat pembelajaran juga efektif ditinjau dari motivasi, rasa ingin tahu, dan prestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, History of Mathematics Developing Circle Instructional Kits of 8th Grade Junior High School with the Supplement of History of Mathematics (HOM) Material AbstractThis research aims to produce the circle instructional kits for 8th grade Junior High School with the supplement of history of mathematics (HoM), consists of lesson plans and module. The developing model was ADDIE’s model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The validity and practicality of the data were analyzed by converting the empiric scores obtained into five scale qualitative data. The effectivity was analyzed by determining the percentage of students who reached minimally high category of the questionnaires and determining the percentage of student’s completeness in the achievement test. Based on the validation result of lesson plans and module which have been developed, they include in valid criteria with very good category. Lesson plans and module which have been developed are practical and effective. The Practicability of instructional kits that are developed reach very good category that based on observation result of lesson implementation and teacher’s evaluation, the module reaches good categoty that based on students’ response. Instructional kits also effective based on students’ motivation, curiosity, and achievement.Keywords: development, instructional kit, History of Mathematics
