Human resources are the main production factors in implementing organizational innovation, so organizations need to encourage employees to have innovative behavior at work. Innovative behavior is not something that is genetically inherited, but something that can be learned and applied to employees in the organization. This research explores the influence of transformational leadership and knowledge sharing on innovative behavior. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study were lecturers at 3 universities in the city of Cirebon. The number of samples in this study were 86 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire instrument. Analysis of research data using multiple regression. The results showed that transformational leadership and knowledge sharing have a positive and significant influence on innovative behavior. In this study the knowledge sharing variable has a more dominant contribution compared to the transformational leadership variable to manage employee innovative behavior.

We investigated individual-level knowledge sharing and innovative behavior of employees, organizational innovation climate, and interactions between the individual level of knowledge sharing and the climate of innovation within the organization as a whole. Employees of public corporations in the Taiwanese finance and insurance industries participated in this study. Hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) indicated a positive association between knowledge sharing and innovative behavior and a positive association between organizational innovation climate and innovative behavior. According to the results of HLM organizational innovation climate did not act as a moderator on the impact of knowledge sharing on innovative behavior.

The researcher discusses the meaning contained in the magazine because language users often do not understand the meaning contained in written language, namely idioms. The reader is often difficult to understand because the meaning is no different with the original meaning o concept that embodies. Researchers focus the research by using three types of idioms, namely the meaning of the idiomatic based on the occurrences of idioms in the form of the mention of a part of the whole assumption, the meaning of the idiomatic based on the occurrences of idioms in the form of the mention of the material, and the meaning of idiomatic based on the type of idiom in the form of the expression. Research conducted discusses the word as material for analysis so that the required description of that detail. The research method used is descriptive qualitative because in accordance with the discussion and data sources that will be examined. According to the results of the analysis of research data about the meaning of idiomatic in Sounds magazine Education edition October-November 2018 that has been done found some kind of meaning idiomatic. The data is obtained based on the three focus that have been formulated in the focus of research. The data was found in accordance with the three focus of research, the first data are the city of santri, onde-onde city and samurai country. The second data are Plastic bags, banknotes and coins. And the third data are Baby, rising level and souvenirs.

This research is to explore the relationships among entrepreneur psychological capital; innovative behavior; transformational leadership and knowledge sharing. Chinese enterprises participated in this investigation. We found that entrepreneur psychological capital influenced transformational leadership, while transformational leadership influenced employee’s innovative behavior positively. Besides, entrepreneur psychological capital influenced employee’s knowledge sharing positively while knowledge sharing influenced employee’s innovative behavior positively, but the direct influence between entrepreneur psychological capital and employee’s innovative behavior wasn’t exist. As anticipated, the intervening effect of transformational leadership and knowledge sharing between entrepreneur psychological capital and employee’s innovative behavior was significant. Implications, limitations and future research directions for the study are discussed.

Innovative behavior is one of the requirements to survive in the field that are hard, competitive, challenging, high-risk and speculative as world trade. Similarly, the existence of a trading business carried on women can not be separated from the innovative behavior, whereas on the other hand women are also faced with the primary responsibility of the family. That directs human behavior to act not apart of the culture surrounding the actors. Based on this, presumably interesting to study about differences in innovative behavior of women traders Javanese, Madurese and Chinese in Surabaya. Sources of data obtained by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews in 394 women traders convection type in one of the wholesale center in the city of Surabaya, which was selected as the study respondents. This study is a quantitative research method research design ANOVA (F-test). The findings of this research are innovative behavioral differences merchant woman of Javanese, Madurese and Chinese.

Knowledge sharing has become an important part of organizations in increasing their competitiveness. However, the antecedent variable for the practice of knowledge sharing behavior is still very limited. This study aims to examine the influence of trust among organizational members and job involvement on the intensity of knowledge sharing behavior. The study involved 250 lecturers from various universities in the city of Malang, Indonesia. The research data were collected through a questionnaire and processed using SEM Partial Least Square. The results showed that trust among organizational members influenced job involvement and knowledge sharing practices. Furthermore, job involvement is proven to be a variable that mediates the effect of trust on knowledge sharing behavior.


The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of transformational leadership and knowledge sharing on innovation capability in term of individual and organizational innovation capability. This study used Structural equation modelling (SEM) to check proposal hypotheses using empirical data collected from 216 participants at 45 small and medium enterprises in Laos. The research findings revealed that knowledge sharing mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and innovation capabilities. Notably, the findings highlight the greater influence of TL on organizational innovation capability in comparison with its effect on individual innovation capability. In contrasts, knowledge sharing activities induce greater influence on individual innovation capability compared with its effect on organizational innovation capability. The paper has, therefore, significantly advanced our insights of how transformational leaders foster employee knowledge sharing activities for stimulating innovation capabilities of organizations. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the performance of the Padang Disaster Management Agency in coordinating among stakeholders in disaster management in the city of Padang. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by interview and documentation study. The research was conducted at the Padang Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) office, Padang Social Service office, Padang Search and Relief Agency office, and Padang Red Cross (PMI) Headquarters. The technique of selecting informants that the researchers used was purposive sampling. The results of the study showed that the function of coordination carried out by the BPBD of Padang City could be said to be effective. This is because all stakeholders are involved in handling disasters, especially during emergency response. Among the forms of coordination is the involvement of the Rapid Reaction Team (TRC) which plays a role in identifying disaster status so that handling can be quickly carried out. Furthermore BPBD along with relevant stakeholders also coordinated to carry out joint handling in providing assistance to disaster victims.

Scholars have focused on exploration concerning issues affecting innovative behavior (IB). Of previous research finding reviews, transformational leadership (TL) is seen as the most influential factor to promote IB in the organization. TL helps followers to have a unique opportunity to develop learning competence and cooperation in improving IB. Besides, knowledge sharing (KS) is also supposed as the main trigger to build IB. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the mediating role of  KS in the relationship between TL and IB. 210 postgraduate students in Indonesian private university are determined as samples. Multiple regression analysis by using SPSS software is applied to analyze the data. The results show that TL significantly affects KS and IB. KS further mediates the relationship between TL and IB.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership style and compensation on employee loyalty. The research method uses a causal method with the type of quantitative research. Data were collected from 50 respondents using saturated sampling via google form. The data is then processed using the SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership style has a positive and insignificant effect on employee loyalty and compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap loyalitas karyawan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kausal dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari 50 responden dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh malalui google form. Data kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan.

<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa jurusan komputer di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang dibuat menggunakan <em>google form</em> kemudian disebarkan kepada responden penelitian yang berjumlah 115 mahaiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan persentase per indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa tergolong rendah pada indikator memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dan menarik kesimpulan, serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk berpikir secara lancar dan orisinil mahasiswa masih rendah.</p><p> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aimed to describe the critical and creative thinking skills profiles of students majoring in computer in the city of Padang. The research method used descriptive research. Data were collected through a questionnaire made using google form and then distributed to 115 respondents. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis using percentages per indicator. The results showed that the students' critical thinking skills were low on the indicators of providing further explanation and drawing conclusions, and the students' creative thinking skills to think fluently and originally were still low.</em></p>
