This chapter discusses the way in which political ideas are put forward and relates this to the forming and mobilization of political opinions. It looks the forms of communication used, the means of ‘media’ for transmission; the approach that political parties and government take towards it; and the influence it can exert from within the democratic system. The chapter looks at how people transmit information and how organizations do too. An important element of this discussion is how people form political opinions in the first place and how they make decisions based on them. A key question is: how can the right to vote be used to transmit and impact a political view point? The chapter also examines the role of social media and recent phenomena such as ‘fake news’. It also asks: how can public opinion be measured? The chapter provides a number of theoretical perspectives and real-life examples: the ‘Leveson Inquiry’ of 2011–12 and what it revealed about political communication and the online parliamentary petitioning process. Finally, the chapter explores a debate about whether the Internet has made political communication more supportive of democracy.

The present age is the time for increasing environmental awareness and paying attention to the role of human connection with nature which can improve the quality of human life as well as preserving nature. Many factors contribute to the success of environmental projects, programs and the conservation of natural resources. Manpower is one of the most important ones and given the effect of human beings on their environment, in general, one of the most important measures to solve environmental problems is the development of natural resources and the promotion of public culture in this field, which, in turn, requires education about man's connection to nature and the environment. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the components affecting design in order to develop awareness and gain experience from nature. The present project is an educational-cultural complex with the approach of developing awareness and gaining experience from nature, which is formed with the aim of fulfilling two main missions: 1. Sensitizing people to nature and finding a view seeking the meaning of nature and natural phenomena 2. Raising the level of environmental literacy of people through education and preventing the indiscriminate destruction of the environment. This descriptive-analytical study addresses issues such as identifying design components in order to develop knowledge and gain experience from nature, investigating the relationship between humans and nature using the observation technique, field and library studies, methods of promoting and teaching environmental issues, sustainable architecture and green architecture, design bed studies, how the project is formed and the presentation of the physical plan. As a result, after identifying design components in order to develop knowledge and gain experience from nature, we achieve the necessity to build a cultural-educational complex in line with the research objective, and also the results show that environmental awareness and education have a direct and indirect effect on urban livability components of sustainability.

BACKGROUND: The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) assumes that persons with disabilities have similar rights, motivations to work and personal values as those without disabilities. OBJECTIVE: The article examines the corroboration between this assumption and real-life facts to better understand the importance of labor-oriented values in people with disabilities. METHODS: We tested the relationship between human values, employment and wages among Israelis with disabilities who cope with prejudice, negative attitudes and a lack of accessible workplaces in comparison to Israelis without disabilities. RESULTS: We found that the effect of labor-oriented values on employment status is 70% higher among people with disabilities than among those without disabilities. Furthermore, persons with disabilities ranked power and achievement as important values related to employment, but these values were not included in the considerations of persons without disabilities. CONCLUSIONS: These results highlight the importance of labor-oriented values for people with disabilities to overcome challenges in the labor market. Our findings suggest that rehabilitation policies would benefit from identifying personal human values of people with disabilities at an early stage of their career.

Abstract: The role of the Qur'an in guiding and directing human life, then learning to read, understand and live the Qur'an to be practiced in everyday life is a duty for every Muslim. But unfortunately, the current phenomenon is not so. There are still many good Muslims from among children, adolescents, adults, even parents can not read and write the letter of the Qur'an (illiteracy of the Qur'an). Such a situation raises concerns especially for Muslims in Indonesia. The author will choose the location of research at Madrasah Diniyah Al-falah Modung Bangkalan. The subject of the research is the headmaster Waka curriculum, Ustadz / dzh, and students. In this study the authors use three kinds of data collection techniques that is the method of observation or observation, interview method, documentation method. 1 Implementation of Iqra 'and Tilawati methods in Madrasah Diniyah Al-Falah Modung Bangkalan such as: the use of CBSA system (How to Study Active Students); the use of direct reading and Individual reading techniques (reading individually in front of ustadz / ustadzah). 2 The implementation equation between Iqra 'and Tilawati methods are: the use of CBSA system (Active Learning Student), the use of Direct Spelling technique in its reading, the use of Individual technique (individual reading in front of ustadz / ustadzah), and compiled / Variative. As for the difference in the implementation of Iqra 'and Tilawati methods are: for the Tilawati method using the National Standard Rost song, while for Iqra' method it is not allowed to use the song even though Irott Murottal; in Iqra 'method using sound approach for difficult letters in its pronunciation, whereas in Tilawati method it is emphasized to pronounce letters according to the right makhraj; besides using Individual reading technique on Tilawati method also using classical technique, whereas in Iqra 'method only use Individual technique only. 3 Factors that support the implementation of Iqra 'and Tilawati methods in Madrasah Diniyah Al-Falah Modung Bangkalan, namely: the availability of props and tapes Murottal (with some type of rhythm of the song); to shorten the time, as long as Individual ustadz / ustadzah assisted by an assistant so that the reading achievement of students can be monitored maximally and santri have a lot of maximal learning time as well.

Soil is the most complex part of land as its contents are made of all the other key components of land namely geology (soil minerals), hydrology (soil water), atmosphere (soil air), and organisms including man (soil organic matter including dead bodies). This is why the functions of the soil are not only numerous but also indispensable. Among the functions, the role of the soil in sustaining human life remains unimaginable. Over 3.8 million people have been killed by COVID-19 by June 15, 2021 in the world and more are still dying. Some unrecorded millions died of hunger as a result of the lockdown during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic. Where are these dead bodies and materials associated with those that died of COVID-19? Where did all the food palliatives (rice, maize, wheat, yam, gari, vegetable oil, etc.) come from? The human body is composed of approximately 64% water, 20% protein, 10% fat, 1% carbohydrate, 5% minerals. When decomposed these various components result to various gaseous compounds and residues that are harmful to human life and environment. When dead bodies are buried human health and environment are saved. The dead bodies, the wastes and their contents are in the soil providing “palliatives” to soil microorganisms while protecting the remaining human population and the environment. Cremation products also end up in the soil. The soil also provided and still provides the food palliatives. Thus, the soil is our number one saviour against COVID-19 pandemic and can be adjudged as the saviour of the human race to date. Coincidentally man was made from the soil and must return to the soil. Key words: soil functions, burial, cremation, palliatives, COVID-19

Until now hegemonic gender dichotomyin Indonesia has worked in various spheres of human life, in various social roles, even in the smallest unitof social organizations: family. The dichotomy was caused by the ideology of "State Ibuism" which was disciplined during the New Order era between 1965 and 1998, where women would play the role of mothers as a subject of private work, serving various domestic needs of the family, while men play the right role conversely. Discipline works through various media formalized through the Marriage Act 1974, which explains the role of men and women in a married relationshipand Panca Dharma Wanita principles, which lays the foundation of theideal women. These ideals remained entrenched even after the New Order regime’s fall. Kecap ABC advertisements attempt to counter the hegemony over gender dichotomy and patriarchal division of work roles. This article uses Kress and Van Leeuwen’s multimodal discourse analysis to show how an attempt to counter ideologies wasmadeto be remediated through the modalities contained in these advertisements. This research elaborates on how these advertisements represent women as superior in terms of dealing with exploitation that occurs in a family, and shows how the renegotiation of domestic work is possible. This research also elaborates how the male body as a mediator of masculinity is actively mediated through modalities such as speech, gestures and moving images, by showing how men can also do domestic work.

Labor is the essence of human life, happiness and self-realization being associated with. Following N.K. Krupskaya, the authors believe that the right choice of profession leads to the emergence of interest in work. If the profession is not interesting, then a person can devalue it, reduce the level of interest of others, and his own work results will be unsatisfactory. Some graduates of pedagogical specialties do not work in the professional field. This is influenced not only by the low financial incentive, or hard labor conditions, but also by the lack of love for the profession among some graduates. The reform of higher and secondary pedagogical educational institutions undertaken in the Kyrgyz Republic is designed to change the situation.
