This work was guided by whether or not tuition fees have a significant influence on SHS graduates’ choice on the selection of university in Ghana.

In this study, the researchers used descriptive approach to analyze the work due to the fact that the study seeks to pinpoint the factors that influence students’ choice on the selection of university in Ghana. The population of the study was mainly final year students in the Kumasi Metropolis and the sample size was made up of three hundred and thirty-five (335) of such students. The study employed questionnaire and multi-stage sampling as a means of data collection instrument which was used to develop insights that supplemented the results of the statistical analysis. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16 was used to analyze the data. The study concludes that the program (product) element of the marketing mix is the main factor that influences SHS graduates’ choice of university in Ghana with a percentage of 32.8 followed by process which accounted for 28.10%. The study recommends that universities in Ghana particularly private universities should put in place tailor-made programs that can contribute to the acquisition of high employable skills by students and also strengthen their Quality Assurance Departments.

This quantitative research is to measure the quantity of tolerance attitude value in responding the difference tendency in affiliating school of thoughts (madzhab) among youths especially university students. This research is quantitative research which applies survey method, probability sampling-simple random sampling data collection technique, skala likert instrument and theta formula analysis technique. The result shows two main findings; 1) there is no significant relationship between sex and tolerance attitude toward school of thought affiliation among university students. However, female students are more tolerant than male students.2) there is no significant relationship between school background and tolerant attitude towards school of thought affiliation among students. by contrast, non–islamic senior high school graduates are more tolerant than those Islamic senior high school graduates.

People say that the teaching of English in Indonesia is unsuccessful. Senior High School graduates, after having been studying English for six years, are unable to use the language in daily communication. One of the causes of the failure, in my opinion, is our classroom 'culture' that is not conducive to the learning process. In the classroom students are supposed to sit nicely, listen to the teacher attentively and are obedient to him. The teacher is the only one who is supposed to know everything and therefore becomes the one who dominates the classroom. If this culture, especially during the English class, is not reformed, I think, whatever efforts undertaken to improve the quality of the teaching will he futile.English classroom culture should he different from other classes since the objective of the teaching is also different. An English classroom, therefore, should be a lively one in which students have the chance to practise the language they are learning, and the teacher is the one who facilitates the learning process.

Using IFLS data 2007 and 2014, this study aims to examine the impact of parents’ education and attending vocational high school to the probability of children attending tertiary education. This study is motivated by the government plan in increasing the proportion of vocational high school graduates compare to general high school graduates. Multinomial-Logit model is used to examine the senior high school types, Logit and Probit are used to examine the decision on pursuing tertiary education. The main conclusions are (1) parents’ education has significant impact on the children’s senior high school preference and college enrollment, (2) children who attended vocational senior high school have a lower probability to enrol in tertiary education compared to those who attended general senior high school or MA
