Many housewives play a role in improving the family's economy by building a business. However, increasing business competition demands more creativity. Therefore, exploring creative business ideas needs to be done to provide business insight to housewives. This community service aims to optimize the role of housewives in improving family economic welfare through creative efforts. The target of this community service is a group of housewives who are active in family welfare improvement programs, namely the women of the Family Welfare Program (PKK) in hamlet (RW 1) Bangunharjo Village, Semarang. The service program is carried out in several stages. The program begins with field observations and business analysis according to partner need to provide creative business training. The result of this activity is to provide fabric coloring skills with the Shibori Technique to service participants. This activity produces ready-to-use products in the form of hijabs with unique motives that have high selling values. Thus, this provides business opportunities for housewives, so that they can optimize their role in improving the economic welfare of the family.

This Community Service is entitled Microgreens Farming Business Training for Housewives in Sukabumi. The empowerment of housewives is intended to produce the potential of housewives, in addition to being able to carry out domestic or domestic duties. Housewives are also able to be active and productive in public activities and economic activities. Microgreens are vegetable seeds that are harvested very young, 7-14 days after germinating and young leaves appear. The method used in this service is the training method; namely, before carrying out direct practice, participants understand through theory first. The training participants were housewives from several women's organizations in Sukabumi. This community service is the acquisition of skills of housewives in farming microgreens and the increasing role of housewives in family welfare through the provision of healthy vegetables for the family.

Abstract: The participation of women at work domain, does not only contributes in changing the mindset and economic structure of a region, but also has contributed greatly to family welfare. This research uses descriptive analysis method to analyze and describe the role of women in improving the economic welfare of the family in the perspective of maqashid syariah. Based on the results of the research, it is found that the implication is that the role of women is very positive in improving family welfare and in accordance with the objectives of Islam,; falah (prosperous in the world and the hereafter), and in accordance with the five main elements that must be maintained in Islam, namely hifz ad-din, hifz an. -nafs, hifz al-aql, hifz an-nasl, and hifz al-mall. Keywords: Islamic law, the role of women, family welfare.   Abstrak: Partisipasi peran perempuan dalam dalam dunia kerja tidak hanya berkontribusi terhadap berubahnya pola fikir dan tatanan perekonomian suatu daerah, akan tetapi juga telah memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis dan mendiskripsikan peran perempuan dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga perspektif maqashid syariah. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan implikasi bahwa peran perempuan sangat positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga dan  sesuai dengan tujuan Islam yaitu falah (sejahtera dunia dan akhirat), serta sesuai dengan lima unsur pokok yang harus dijaga dalam islam, yakni hifz ad-din, hifz an-nafs, hifz al-aql, hifz an-nasl, dan hifz al-mall. Kata-kata kunci: hukum Islam, peran perempuan, kesejahteraan keluarga.

The role of a wife has begun to shift into an entrepreneur now. This starts with a home-based business that was initially done to fill the spare time after the housekeeping duty were completed. But in managing the business they are still simple oriented just to fill the time, so that this business is not able to develop properly. This dedication seeks to empower the home-based business to be able to have added value that previously only runs with many limitations. Implementation of community service program on partner 1 (Arum Snack) by giving peanut slicer to save time to make sliced peanut so that productivity will increase. Likewise with the financial management that has been separating business finances with the family though still manually using a cash book.For partner 2 (Yasmin Collection) already has blogs and facebook to expand its online marketing range. An online address created by the name Yasmin Online Shop that shifts from fashion sales goes to typical Klaten snacks produced by home-based production around partners. The products is Marketed to outside Java, especially Kalimantan although that is still limited.Monitoring and evaluation on activities and mentoring program are still done. The addition of brand on partner products is also done so that the products can be more marketable. Simple financial management assistance is done so that partners can access loans from financial institutions to increase their working capital.Increased revenue in this program is achieved on all of the partners. Suggestion that can be given is  more attention from the governments in the development of home-based businesses involving academics.  Keyword : revenue increase, home business

[Bahasa]: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa penyuluhan dengan judul “Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Desa Batu Ampar. Peserta kegiatan PKM ini adalah orang tua siswa yang berdomisili di desa Batu Ampar, yang berjumlah 30 orang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk: (1) memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Kecamatan Batu Ampar Kabupaten Kubu Raya tentang memotivasi dan menumbuhkan minat terhadap matematika; (2) mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat terhadap penyuluhan tentang memasyarakatkan matematika. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa penyuluhan Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga di Batu Ampar ini dapat disimpulkan yaitu: (1) kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan informasi dan motivasi kepada orang tua selaku keluarga yang mempunyai peran penting dalam melakukan pendampingan belajar anak di rumah sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajaran matematika anak; (2) kegiatan pelatihan ini perlu diadakan kembali untuk daerah yang lain sehingga dapat menambah pengetahuan dan informasi yang akurat kepada keluarga betapa pentingnya peran mereka sebagai pendamping belajar anak. Kata kunci: Memasyaratkan, Matematika, Peran keluarga [English]: This community service program is in the form of counseling with the title "Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families." This program was carried out in the Batu Ampar Village Hall. The participants are thirty parents of students who live in Batu Ampar village. The program aims to: (1) provide counseling to the people of Batu Ampar Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency about motivating and fostering interest in mathematics; (2) knowing the community's response to counseling about socializing mathematics. Community service activities in the form of counseling Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families in Batu Ampar can be concluded, namely: (1) extension activities provide information and motivation to parents as families who have an important role in assisting child learning at home as an effort to improve the quality of learning especially children's mathematics subjects; (2) this training activity needs to be held again for other regions so that it can add accurate knowledge and information to the family how important their role is as a child learning companion. The implementation of this Community Service is an effort to develop the Family Welfare Development Group Business in Cileng Village, Poncol District, Magetan Regency to be able to increase product competitiveness through improved business management and business legality. The main problems of partners are: 1) the production of handicrafts in the form of plastic glass lip recycling bags still using the made by order system, 2) from the financial side there is no good record, the capital used still comes from the group cash, 3) limited marketing only in the surrounding community. In line with the problems faced by these partners, efforts that can be made are assistance in business development starting from marketing, business legality and bookkeeping. The methods used by the team are socialization, training and mentoring. The results of the Community Service Program are: 1) The Group Business has a Business Permit Number which means that with this legality it will make it easier for partners to get capital, increase public confidence in the products produced, 2) There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in recording daily finances simply , making it easier for partners to evaluate production activities, evaluate income and expenditure, 3) Availability of product logos and fan pages, of course this will increase the selling value of partner products and expand the target market.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan perempuan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga para petugas K3L (Kebersihan, Kenyamanan, Keindahan Lingkungan) Universitas Padjadjaran Jatinangor dan juga untuk mengetahui motivasi apa saja yang membuat perempuan memiliki keinginan untuk bekerja. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif serta metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara mendalam, buku referensi dan juga penelitian-penelitian terhadulu. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan menyatakan bahwa peranan perempuan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga K3L terbagi menjadi dua peran, yang pertama adalah peran perempuan di dalam keluarga, diantaranya adalah peranan sebagai seorang ibu dan juga peranan sebagai pendamping suami. Yang kedua adalah peranan perempuan di luar keluarga yaitu sebagai pencari nafkah. Para perempuan ini bekerja untuk dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the role of women in improving the family welfare of the K3L officers of Universitas Padjadjaran Jatinangor and also to find out what motivation makes women have the desire to work. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive and data collection methods used through in-depth interviews, reference books and also research studies. The result of the research shows that the role of women in improving the economic welfare of K3L family is divided into two roles, the first is the role of women in the family, such as the role of a mother and also the role of the husband's companion. The second is the role of women outside the family as the breadwinner. These women work to improve the economic welfare of the family.

This research was conducted in Bengkayang West Kalimantan which aims to describe: 1. The income of female gold panning workers, 2 to see the contribution of household income of women who pan gold, 3. See the role of the involvement of women who pan gold in improving the economic welfare of the family. This research type is descriptive qualitative. The population of this study were 10 gold panning women. Data collected through direct interviews with respondents. The results of this study indicate that the economic activities carried out by women who pan gold miners provide income that can meet the needs of women's gold panning households. And the contribution made by women who pan gold in improving the economy of family welfare, amounting to 3,000,000-22,500,000 / month in Bengkayang is quite large towards the income of women who pan gold.

This is an optimistic, and useful, book written at a pessimistic time. In an era when the nation faces many social problems - including alienation from the government and work, the fragmentation of the family, and an expanding materialism - this book promoting civic literacy approaches to service learning and seeks to help educators in their efforts to redefine the role of civics in contemporary society. The civic literacy approach to service learning is defined as pedagogy that combines community service and academic instruction and that focuses on critical, reflective thinking and civic responsiblity. The editors challenge community colleges to act as catalysts for a national movement of community renewal, suggesting that they may be our best hope for finding ways to solve our social problems.

In this paper, we model the impact on the entry into poverty of a range of demographic and labour market events. Our analyses are based on longitudinal panel data from two countries belonging to a different regime type – Belgium and Britain. The results show that while in Belgium the impact of most life events is relatively small, in Britain most demographic and labour market events significantly raise the chances of becoming poor. We link the observed poverty entry patterns to the ways in which economic welfare in Belgium and Britain is distributed between the three main systems of resources distribution: the welfare state, the labour market and the family. We furthermore find that the combined influence of the interrelated parts of the welfare regime on the role of women in the household economy is a potentially important explanatory factor.

The Difference

<p><em>Yard land can be used as a family food barn. One of the efforts to overcome the limitations of land is by cultivating in a limited place (bag culture system) such as polybags, pots or used buckets. In Ciawijapura Village, Susukan Lebak </em><em>Sub-district, Cirebon Regency, purple eggplant is commonly cultivated in dry land, as well as in yards. This Community Service Program (</em><em>Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat/PKM) is aimed at increasing the knowledge of</em><em> Family Welfare Building Motivation Team (</em><em>Tim Penggerak Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga/TP-PKK</em><em>) cadres and members of Farmer Women Group </em><em>(</em><em>Kelompok Wanita Tani</em><em>/KWT</em><em>) Al Istiqomah about cultivating purple eggplant in a bag culture system. The methods used are training and mentoring. The evaluation results showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge between before and after the training, that is, from 73% to 89% of the total expected value. The participants were able to understand the difference between cultivating purple eggplant on land and in a bag culture system.</em></p>
