[Bahasa]: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa penyuluhan dengan judul “Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Desa Batu Ampar. Peserta kegiatan PKM ini adalah orang tua siswa yang berdomisili di desa Batu Ampar, yang berjumlah 30 orang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk: (1) memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Kecamatan Batu Ampar Kabupaten Kubu Raya tentang memotivasi dan menumbuhkan minat terhadap matematika; (2) mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat terhadap penyuluhan tentang memasyarakatkan matematika. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa penyuluhan Memasyarakatkan Matematika Melalui Peran Keluarga di Batu Ampar ini dapat disimpulkan yaitu: (1) kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan informasi dan motivasi kepada orang tua selaku keluarga yang mempunyai peran penting dalam melakukan pendampingan belajar anak di rumah sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajaran matematika anak; (2) kegiatan pelatihan ini perlu diadakan kembali untuk daerah yang lain sehingga dapat menambah pengetahuan dan informasi yang akurat kepada keluarga betapa pentingnya peran mereka sebagai pendamping belajar anak. Kata kunci: Memasyaratkan, Matematika, Peran keluarga [English]: This community service program is in the form of counseling with the title "Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families." This program was carried out in the Batu Ampar Village Hall. The participants are thirty parents of students who live in Batu Ampar village. The program aims to: (1) provide counseling to the people of Batu Ampar Subdistrict, Kubu Raya Regency about motivating and fostering interest in mathematics; (2) knowing the community's response to counseling about socializing mathematics. Community service activities in the form of counseling Socializing Mathematics through the Role of Families in Batu Ampar can be concluded, namely: (1) extension activities provide information and motivation to parents as families who have an important role in assisting child learning at home as an effort to improve the quality of learning especially children's mathematics subjects; (2) this training activity needs to be held again for other regions so that it can add accurate knowledge and information to the family how important their role is as a child learning companion. Community and family empowerment activities are classic activities that are currently still underestimated by many parties, but this is still relevant and urgent when linked to community service programs. This community service program is proven to have a direct impact on efforts to improve the quality of life of the community, especially for disadvantaged families or disadvantaged families. Through this paper, the authors raise several positive aspects that can be obtained from several stages of the implementation of community service conducted by Padang State University in Nagari Lubuk Jantan Tanah Datar Regency. The focus of the activity is the empowerment of pre-prosperous family economies through the utilization of family resources and yards. The election of Nagari Lubuk Jantan is based on the consideration that this area is relatively many target groups or communities that are still underdeveloped in various aspects of life, especially in the education aspects, social aspects, and cultural aspects, and low levels of welfare, while they have relatively large family members as well as large yards that are not used optimally. The results of these community service activities have a significant impact, including: increased public knowledge about family problems and potential, the community gets an understanding in increasing family income through the management of family resources, and skills in improving the family economy by choosing and cultivating plants of economic value in the yard around residential areas, especially for economically weak communities. It is expected that all parties, including universities, regional governments, the private world, and community leaders, can increase their awareness of the family empowerment program, especially in optimizing the utilization of the potential of family resources such as human resources, family assets and time. Therefore, in the future, a variety of scientific studies and a more comprehensive service program breakthrough and totality related to efforts to improve the quality of the family will lead to a more dignified prosperous family.Keywords: Family Resources, Disadvantaged Families, Yard

The role of a wife has begun to shift into an entrepreneur now. This starts with a home-based business that was initially done to fill the spare time after the housekeeping duty were completed. But in managing the business they are still simple oriented just to fill the time, so that this business is not able to develop properly. This dedication seeks to empower the home-based business to be able to have added value that previously only runs with many limitations. Implementation of community service program on partner 1 (Arum Snack) by giving peanut slicer to save time to make sliced peanut so that productivity will increase. Likewise with the financial management that has been separating business finances with the family though still manually using a cash book.For partner 2 (Yasmin Collection) already has blogs and facebook to expand its online marketing range. An online address created by the name Yasmin Online Shop that shifts from fashion sales goes to typical Klaten snacks produced by home-based production around partners. The products is Marketed to outside Java, especially Kalimantan although that is still limited.Monitoring and evaluation on activities and mentoring program are still done. The addition of brand on partner products is also done so that the products can be more marketable. Simple financial management assistance is done so that partners can access loans from financial institutions to increase their working capital.Increased revenue in this program is achieved on all of the partners. <p class="AbstractText">Nowadays, when the fast-paced world is presented almost everyone's life, the role of the rest and the recreation is gettting more emphasized. It becomes more important to the people where, with whom and in what kind of circumstances they are willing to spend their free time, and how much money they are willing to pay for it. They can find recreation in countless type of tourism, depending on they wish to spend their rest actively or passively. The growing demand of tourism infers the growing supply of tourism and diversity too. Parallel to this the needs of the people who want to relax increase. In case of a tourist destination it is more and more determinative how they can offer various types and quality of services for their guests how they can cooperate in the region in the area or in the same settlement with other service-units, who can even be their competitors. Mórahalom in Hungary is a good example for that where the cooperation between the several service-units is exemplary. That is why I choose my research’s topic: analyzing the Thermál Panzió in Mórahalom. The accommodation service is an area where services are used by all age-group regardless of age and gender. Thus, the target group could include almost everybody. The purpose of my work is to examine the importance of the Thermál Panzió, on the other hand, to do the interrelation and relationship testing among the guests of the pension. The latter is done after the results of my quantitative research among the guests in the pension in 2013. My research focuses on three aims</p><p class="AbstractText">A1: To examine the coverage -, the requisition of the offered services-, the price-value ratio of the rooms-, and the family-friendly nature of the Thermál Panzió among the guests.</p><p class="AbstractText">A2: To map the relationship of the pension’s guests and Mórahalom (visiting of the city, knowledge of attractions).</p>A3: Examination of the guests of the Thermál Panzió (with whom, with what, and when they arrived).

Elderly residents need to be given attention because usually, at old age, there will be many complaints/health problems due to decreased organ function. Therefore it needs various supports from various parties, especially families, in increasing the independence of the elderly in fulfilling daily activities so that the elderly can maintain their health as optimal as possible. The results showed that increased knowledge about good family support and awareness of the elderly in doing their own independent activities would improve the quality of life of the elderly in their old age. There are two evaluations carried out in this community service: pre-test and post-test evaluation. For the pre-test results of 30 participants, 45% are good, and 55% are not good after the activity process is carried out; the post-test gets 90% good and 10% less good. The conclusion from the implementation of community service participants in community service activities can understand and understand the role of the family regarding the independence of the elderly in fulfilling daily activities

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini ditujukan untuk peningkatan peran ayah dalam keluarga terutama dalam keterlibatannya sebagai ayah. Berangkat dari kegelisahan kaum ayah di Kelurahan Puhun Tembok Kota Bukittinggi, rutinitas dan tanggung jawab sebagai ayah di ruang publik mengurangi kualitas komunikasi bersama anak di rumah. Pada pembicaraan forum ayah, beberapa ayah memiliki kendala dalam kapasitasnya sebagai suami dan ayah untuk membicarakan persoalan seputar ke-Ayah-an. Untuk memaksimalkan tujuan kegiatan ini, Tim PKM sudah menentukan metode kegiatan dimulai dari persiapan, screening, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta laporan dan luaran kegiatan. Keagiatan akan menjadi lebih terarah dengan hadirnya fasilitator yang akan memfasilitasi diskusi terarah oleh forum ayah dalam mengkaji persoalan tematis. Temuannya adalah beberapa ayah memiliki kesulitan untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka untuk berkomunikasi dan melaksanakan peran-peran ayah karena tidak terdapatnya media yang membicarakan hal itu layaknya kaum ibu. Meskipun begitu, kegiatan ini menjadi awal dari keterbukaan ayah untuk berkomunikasi dan bersikap lebih terbuka di dalam keluarga. Menurut para ayah, kegiatan ini menjadi media bagi mereka untuk saling berbagi dan mendengarkan pendapat sehubungan dalam peningkatan perannya sebagai ayah dan kepala keluarga di rumah. Kata kunci: Forum ayah, peran ayah; keluarga; anak  ABSTRACTThis community service activity (PKM) is aimed at increasing the role of fathers in the family, especially in their involvement as fathers. Departing from the anxiety of fathers in Puhun Tembok Village, Bukittinggi City, the routine and responsibility of being a father in public spaces reduces the quality of communication with children at home. In the discussion of the father's forum, some fathers have difficulties in their capacity as husbands and fathers to discuss issues related to fatherhood. To maximize the purpose of this activity, the PKM Team has determined the method of activities starting from preparation, screening, implementation, evaluation as well as reports and activity outputs. Activities will become more focused with the presence of a facilitator who will facilitate focused discussions by the father's forum in reviewing thematic issues. The finding is that some fathers have difficulty expressing themselves to communicate and carry out fatherly roles because there is no media that talks about it like mothers. Even so, this activity was the beginning of the father's openness to communicate and be more open in the family. According to the fathers, this activity became a medium for them to share and listen to opinions regarding the improvement of their roles as fathers and heads of families at home. Keywords: Father forum, father role; family; children

Family law is part of the clump of civil law that discusses the problems of civil relations in a family, including marriage, divorce, inheritance, and so on. The purpose of this service is to provide an understanding of aspects of family law for the people of Depok. The method used in the implementation of the service is to provide counseling to the people of Kampung Pulo, Leurahan Beji Depok through the media zoom meeting. The results of community service show that some people in the city of Depok, especially in Kampung Pulo, Beji Depok Village, still do not understand the efforts that must be made when problems occur related to family law. Community Service Program activities are very helpful for the people of Depok to better understand the efforts that must be made when problems occur in family law.

[Bahasa]: Keluarga merupakan lingkungan awal bagi anak yang memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Oleh karenanya, pemahaman tentang pentingnya parenting sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan keluarga. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya parenting dalam keluarga yang merupakan tanggungjawab bersama dari orang tua, masyarakat, sekolah, dan pemerintah. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kauman, Kecamatan Sedayu, Kabupaten Gresik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan games. Materi yang diberikan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi pengertian, aturan, penerapan parenting yang tepat, pihak-pihak yang harus berperan dalam terwujudnya parenting, dan bahaya yang ditimbulkan jika parenting dilakukan secara tidak tepat. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan pemahaman peserta terhadap parenting sebelum dilaksanakan kegiatan adalah sebesar 16%. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan dalam PKM ini, pemahaman peserta terhadap parenting adalah sebesar 83%. Hasil ini menunjukkan kegiatan PKM ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang parenting yang bekontribusi pada kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pendidikan keluarga. Kata Kunci: parenting, orang tua, masyarakat, pemerintah [English]: Family is the initial environment for children who have a strategic role in supporting the delivery of education. Therefore, an understanding of the importance of parenting is needed to improve the quality of family education. This community service program aims to provide the parents an understanding of the importance of parenting in the family as a shared responsibility of parents, community, schools, and government. This progam was conducted in Kauman Village, Sedayu District, Gresik Regency. The method used was training with lectures, discussions, and games. The material provided in this training included the understanding, rules, proper application of parenting, parties who must play a role in the realization of parenting, and the dangers posed if parenting is done incorrectly. The results showed that participants' understanding of parenting before the training was 16%. After attending the training, participants' understanding of parenting was 83%. This shows that this program increases parents’ understanding of parenting that contributes to community awareness of the importance of family education. The purpose of this research is to find out the satisfaction of the people of Surakarta in the service program of the Family Hope Program (PKH), Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), Poor Families (GAKIN) and Pilgrimage in the Surakarta Social Service and as material in setting service policies the public in carrying out continuous improvement in order to improve the quality of the next service quality.The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and verification analysis. Understanding the analysis of descriptive analysis according to Sugiyono (2005: 1) is: Research conducted to determine the value of the independent variable, either one variable or more (independent) without making comparisons or connecting between variables one with other variables. The data collection technique is using observation, interviews, and documentation and literature studies.Based on the results of research through observation, interviews and questionnaires concluded that the Family Hope Program (PKH) service program, Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) is Very Good, the GAKIN service program is Good and the Pilgrimage Program is Poor.

Many housewives play a role in improving the family's economy by building a business. However, increasing business competition demands more creativity. Therefore, exploring creative business ideas needs to be done to provide business insight to housewives. This community service aims to optimize the role of housewives in improving family economic welfare through creative efforts. The target of this community service is a group of housewives who are active in family welfare improvement programs, namely the women of the Family Welfare Program (PKK) in hamlet (RW 1) Bangunharjo Village, Semarang. The service program is carried out in several stages. The program begins with field observations and business analysis according to partner need to provide creative business training. The result of this activity is to provide fabric coloring skills with the Shibori Technique to service participants. This activity produces ready-to-use products in the form of hijabs with unique motives that have high selling values. Thus, this provides business opportunities for housewives, so that they can optimize their role in improving the economic welfare of the family.

Last years have witnessed a growing interest in economics and cross-cultural studies in the role of the historical family as the instigator of disparate developmental trajectories. This new emerging literature has already provoked a considerable amount of controversy, involving debates on the precise underlying mechanisms, the role of non-familial institutions and the possibility of reversed causality, as well as the quality of historical data. Using novel historical database of European family this paper reaffirms the hypothesis that historical family organization could be one of the intermediate factors associated with developmental and value disparities among European nations today pointed out in earlier scholarship. We show that countries starting out from more patriarchal family structures in the past exhibit more hierarchical gender relations, more collectivist mindsets, and lower levels of economic and human development in the present. These findings suggest that the criticism of the family role in comparative development may be premature, and that links between historical family organisation and developmental gradients merit further attention.
