The study was conducted with 02 objectives to describe and analyze some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs working at Dong Thap General Hospital in 2017. The research design is cross-sectional, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Research results show that, the motivation average score of office and support staffs with the general motivation; burnout; job satisfaction; intrinsic job satisfaction; organizational commitment; conscientiousness; timeliness and attendance oscillate from 2.91 to 3.5. The motivation average score of office and support staffs with burnout is lowest and the motivation average score of office and support staffs with conscientiousness is highest. Some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs are income policies; training opportunities; satisfaction of colleagues and managers; working environment; equipment and facilities. The research results provide evidence to help the Board of Directors to develop solutions to improve the motivation of office and support staffs in the future. Background: Stroke is a major cause of disability inthe world and its long term effects require adherence to physiotherapyprotocols for optimal rehabilitation. Clinical impression of data fromMthatha General Hospital (MGH) Physiotherapy Department revealedthat there was poor attendance of outpatient physiotherapy by strokepatients discharged from MGH and this had negative effects on outcomesand health care costs.Objective: To determine the extent and the socio-demographic reasonsfor poor attendance for outpatient physiotherapy by stroke patients.Methods: An observational descriptive study was conducted using arandomly selected sample of 103 stroke patients from a population of 139who attended physiotherapy in MGH in 2007. Structured interviews wereconducted and SPSS was used for data analysis.Results: The majority (86%) of patients did not attend physiotherapy until discharge from the Physiotherapy Department. Themajor reasons for poor attendance were lack of finances (95%), migration to other areas (36%), and living a long distance fromMGH (38%).Conclusion: Almost 9 out of 10 stroke patients fail to attend for outpatient physiotherapy because of lack of finances.Recommendation: Development of a Provincial Rehabilitation Policy with specific reference to decentralization of rehabilitationservices to address unavailability of physiotherapy services at clinics and health care centers which are proximal to the patients’residential areas is recommended.

Patient loyalty greatly affects the survival of a hospital, because loyal patients not only make repeated visits but can act as loyalty advocators. In the last five years, there has been a decrease in the number of inpatient visits at RSU (Regional General Hospital) Bandung Medan, an average of 8.79% so that research is needed to determine the factors that affect patient loyalty. The study was conducted by cross sectional, using a questionnaire that has been tested valid and reliable. The research variables were service quality, patient satisfaction, and patient loyalty. The number of samples was 100 patients who met the criteria. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS method. The results: service quality has a significant effect on patient satisfaction, patient satisfaction has a significant effect on patient loyalty, and service quality has a significant effect on patient loyalty. Patient loyalty at RSU Bandung Medan is significantly influenced by service quality factors and patient satisfaction factors. Regarding the service quality variable, 20% of respondents did not agree that nurses recorded accurately. In the patient satisfaction variable, 20% of respondents were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room, 20% of respondents were not satisfied with the food served, and 15% of respondents were dissatisfied with the results of the treatment. In the patient loyalty variable, 15% of respondents disagreed with giving positive responses to the relationship about the performance of the Bandung Hospital, and 15% of respondents would move to another hospital if they got a discount.

An estimated 50,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson's disease each year, according to the National Institutes of Health, and around one million Americans have the condition. To find out the analysis of the factors that influence the quality of life of Parkinson's sufferers at the Neurology Polyclinic at The Royal Prima Hospital in 2019. There is a relationship between age and quality of life and social relations of patients with Parkinson's in the Neurology Polyclinic of The Royal Prima Hospital in 2019. There is no relationship between gender and stadium of Parkinson's disease with the quality of life of patients with Parkinson's in the Neurology Polyclinic of The Royal Prima Hospital in 2019 in Medan. It is expected that the Hospital must continue to pay attention and improve in order to create quality and high-quality services at The Royal Prima General Hospital, Medan, especially regarding the factors that affect the quality of life of Parkinson's sufferers.
